Hidden gem right on the other side of the Spanish Springs bridge. Good things are on the other side of the rainbow! Great, authentic Mexican food! Flavors transport you to Mexico. Reina was very attentive. You have to try this hidden gem! Specials on Monday through Wednesday!

It's hard for me to believe that the Board of Health has not closed this place. The exterior for the most part is questionable although they have a lovely porch. The food was decent. The service was subpar. When I sat down, there was pain in my legs from the damage to the vinyl chair. Honestly, the maintenance here is a disgrace.

This is a pretty messy and dirty restaurant. The floors were sticky, disgusting and covered in random pieces of food, napkins, and empty straws on the floor. There are dirty napkins, dirty salsa bowl with a fly in it, a dirty butter knife left out, and ants right next to the open window thing im sitting next to. The food looks like they might have microwaved it because my plate was so hot but the food was lukewarm. Both me and my partners food tasted off and some parts definitely didn't taste fresh. It looks like they grabbed that simple salad bag from the back that was in left for awhile. The bathrooms are really disgusting also looks like they don't try to keep it clean. This place is mediocre at best.if you want to go to a authentic delicious tasting Mexican place don't bother with this place.

Best fajitas anywhere! Decor is spot on. Great service. Lunch menu is a great value. Dos Equis draft -- cold and great with the fajitas!

Guess what the wine choices were? Red, white (Chardonnay), pink - ALL only by the horrendous $3/bottle Copper Ridge! Are you serious? How would you not offer at least one upscale choice as well? And, their "food" menu is an only an extension of the bar huts on the square plus movie theatre popcorn crap or Publux check-out choices. Villages family, we saw you on your little video touting the opening of this place in honor of the family matriarch. You have billions of dollars. You fit in private planes. You have Presidential candidates coming here for support. Do you actually like going out to places with crappy wine choices and bagged genetically modified food choices? You guys continue to disappoint at every turn. Each opportunity to make the Villages better fails on its face leaving the Villages in the dust for what younger sophisticated homeowners want in a neighborhood - unless you are catering to the Central Florida locals who love their fried gator bites. Spanish Springs now has 3 empty restaurant spaces, which is a travesty. The Villages needs to focus on all the vacancies in all the Squares and give us better options and choices to make us want to frequent your establishments versus driving away to experience normal life in 2024 at places that offer great wine, interesting food and fabulous vibes. Head to Tavares or Mount Dora instead.

The ambiance was of an upscale small specialty restaurant. Had the gyro platter and what an incredible meal. The meat was a generous portion that was sliced thin. The meat was hot, seasoned to perfection and tender. The small side salad was fresh and with the Greek dressing was amazing. The seasoned fries were hot and tasty. Soooo delicious could not stop eating. Very content and feeling full. If you are anywhere near here you owe it to yourself to stop and sample the food.

The rice was a little dry, but flavorful enough to avoid prosecution. The hummus was good. The fries were solid. The lamb was easily the star of the meal and, for a brief shining moment, all was right with the world. Then came the beer. Halfway through drinking it, I discovered the glass was cracked. Not scratched. Not chipped in some charming artisanal way. Cracked. So now dinner had unexpectedly become a game of "Did I Just Drink From Broken Glass?" I pointed it out to the bartender, assuming the response would be fairly straightforward: apology, fresh glass, full replacement beer, perhaps a quiet acknowledgment that drinking vessels should generally remain in one piece. Instead, I received a replacement beer that was about two-thirds full. Sir. We have moved beyond beer accounting. You just served me a drink in a cracked glass. I had already consumed half of it before noticing. I could have cut my lip, swallowed something I definitely did not order, or spent the rest of the evening wondering whether my next stop was home or urgent care. And somehow, in the middle of all that, we still found time to save approximately one-third of a beer. I wasn't asking for ownership of the restaurant. I wasn't demanding reparations from the Greek government. I just wanted one complete, unbroken beer. The food was okay. Good food-truck-level okay. The lamb was genuinely very good. But the cracked glass followed by the carefully rationed replacement turned an otherwise ordinary meal into a minor Greek tragedy. And perhaps that is where the lesson lives. For what is a man, really, but a temporary vessel wandering through an indifferent universe, hoping only that his hummus is creamy, his lamb is tender, and the vessel holding his beer is not actively trying to murder him? The ancient Greeks warned us about hubris. I always assumed they meant kings challenging the gods. Perhaps they meant bartenders looking at a cracked beer glass and thinking, "Two-thirds should cover it." Somewhere, Dionysus wept. But maybe the missing third of that beer was not a loss at all. Is one-third of a beer really worth carrying anger home? No. Life moves fast enough. Slow down. Enjoy the lamb. Laugh at the absurdity. Appreciate that the glass failed in its assassination attempt. Sometimes the universe takes a little more beer than seems fair. Let it. Be positive. And like all great Greek heroes, I escaped with my life, my dignity... slightly less beer than I was owed. Let this be a life lesson, Evan. I

There was just no wow factor in these burgers. Swiss muchroom burger had good flavor, but the burger itself was very small. They tried to hide it in an over sized bun. The bourbon burger had a funny taste, but same small burger. The coldslaw was a joke. Came in a plastic cup, with a lid and the cup was probably 1/3 of a measuring cup. TINY. The special drew me in, but it did not make a repeat customer out of me. $16 for one burger (out of the BOGO timing) is way over priced.

It arrived looking wonderful with nice chunks of turkey. I took a bite and also got some avocado that was very overripe. Took another bite, same thing, and then I realized there was no avocado! The turkey was as soft and mushy as an overripe avocado... it was absolutely disgusting and sickening! The server brought me a new salad made with chicken, instead of turkey & said the manager had been shown my salad. The manager did not bother to come speak with me. I was still upset and worried that I would be getting sick from the turkey, & called today to speak to the manager. He acknowledged that he should have come to the table & claimed there had been nothing wrong with the turkey beyond it had been sitting too long in brine.... I cannot imagine how many days sitting in brine it took to turn chunks of turkey breast into literal mush.
