first of all why put prices that don't match up when you're about to pay. I asked for acrylic on my big toes and the lady kept insisting on what SHE wanted, I am the customer. I was very unhappy with how it came out. Second, my manicure looks horrendous, it looks like a beginner did these. One nail was so uneven and didn't bother to fix it even after asking politely 2 times and didn't do it. I love it here! The ladies are all so nice and so fast! But not in a bad way! Yoh can tell they really care about their clients as they sit and have conversations. I've only been here once but that was enough to have me wanting to come back. They head tech knew every persons coming through the door! She laughed and joked and did such an amazing job managing the shop. I got a gel mani and pedi 3 weeks ago and it's still going strong other than the growth, my nails didn't chip or fade. I was a costumer for going on seven years and in the beginning Helen would take the time to do my nails to my liking , which that is important since we are paying for what we get and everytime I asked her to do a certain style she would try but as the years went by she slacked on my nails . She would not take the time to make sure if each nail was at least similar size , I had different shaped nails on each hand . I would ask for the same length and style which is coffin and my nails would always look thick , she's a hilarious person but she doesn't do her best as if she gets lazy or try's to hurry , that's not fair to a customer. I've had one time where I had to go back and have her change completely everything because my nails looked horrible! She didn't even clean the paint off my fingers . I'm not writing this review to bash on this business but to state that I used to enjoy getting my nails done here and every time I went she just got more careless with my nails that I had to find somewhere new , I would recommend so many people here but not anymore! She also has a certain kind of personality that if she's in a good mood she'll be nice to you and do your nails good but if she's bothered or mad you can see it in her work and that should be a customers fault we pay for this service so we shouldn't have to keep quiet of we don't like the shape or anything with our nails , we have the right to say something and sometimes as customers we don't wanna be rude and disrespectful so we keep quiet but we pay for it . I would say the other women there know how to do nails well and very professional. read more

4.20.11: I was looking around in the IE for a place that actually does Brazilian without charging $40+. I consider myself a good tipper so I can't tip well if these places are charging so much. I stumble upon Cherry Nail & Spa through google search. I called and received great customer service. The lady on the phone answered my questions in a really nice and polite manner. I called over 10 places and this is the one that had the lowest price and I can speak to the person over the phone without having to repeat myself 10 times. It was perfect. Without an appointment I arrive at Cherry Nail around 6ish. I walked in with awe. I really like the decor of the place it had an old Italian Architecture Look. Their seats were comfy and I really like how they had an waiting area for kids to watch movies. How awesome is that!? While I waiting there were others who was also waiting and they couldn't stop talking about how great Cathy's wax jobs are. So I actually have seen the before and after of two teenagers eyebrows and their wax looked perfect. I was excited. I didn't wait too long when Cathy told me to go to the waxing room. There were two wax beds instead of one. The inside was not too small from what I'm used to at other places. Cathy was very nice and quick about the wax. She also handed me a towel to clean myself off and she used baby oil and powder at the end. She even gave me a mirror to look it over. ha ha.. =) Well, I would definitely frequent this place she only charge me $35. If you are going to do this type of wax you want someone gentle and able to do the job right! I found HER! read more

After going through a few different shades of color she helped me find something I liked. I appreciate how she didn't get frustrated when I said no to the first few colors. Awful, terrible expensive waste of time. Kathy improperly glues tips, helen tried to fix my lifted nails but made them lumpy and crooked. My new nail tech which is Rose at Pretty Nails in Fontana said that when water gets under lifted nails fungus grows. All of my nails were badly lifting off which she fixed and I love the job she did. My thumb nail has to stay off until the fungus grows out. A thumb with no acrylic and its green!!! This place is AWFUL! They talk about costumers and laugh the entire time, they run late, and always charge you more then their price list. Stay away, i am not even sure how they are still in business. I dont know where the nice pics on here came from but I've been to two of the three techs and both were terrible. Helen's nails were ugly but at least she didn't harm my nails like Kathy. read more

Give positive, receive positive. ;) I often see how many people will be prone to leaving a negative review, but rarely take the time to write a positive review they've experienced. First of all MAKE AN APPOINTMENT OR CALL AHEAD! They are always busy and they will accommodate you and place you on a wait list but you have to do your part and actually call. They do accept walk ins, but be aware, appointments and call a heads will always come first, as they should. This is a business and even though people expect immediate attention, think about you being the person in the chair already and someone being pressured to rush through YOUR visit to accommodate someone who didn't have the decency to give a courtesy call ahead of time. Let that ponder for a moment. I see a lot of people walk in while I am visiting, expecting to be seen NOW. The problem with this society is the expectation for entitlement. Businesses shouldn't be ran around those entitled few. With that said... My family has been coming to Cherry Nail & Spa for one year now. Every visit is a pleasure. I have always been greeted by Kathy and John, the owners and they have been an incredible team. My daughter and husband also have had their nails and toes pampered by the husband and wife team. As you can see from my photos today, they are very precise and take their time. That is because I always call ahead and/or make an appointment and as a business owner, people really appreciate that. They also know that I am patient and I always set aside 90 minutes aside to make sure my nails are done precisely. Don't expect to get a great set of work done in less than that time. It's an art. And art takes TIME. Lastly, my daughter and I come in together. I sit and wait on her and vice versa. We are seen by John and Kathy only for our nails. They will work alongside one another to make sure you are happy. Our pedicures, on the other hand, have been done by their other employees, but Kathy does a wonderful job on pedicures too, if you request her. All of my experiences have always been positive, even my first "walk in experience" when I found this little gem. I did apologize for not setting an appointment but I advised her that I was new to the neighborhood and I was searching for a new nail place close to our new home. read more
