I literally have had better car washes by a bunch of cheerleaders at a church function then I have at this place. I do not give many one-star reviews but when I do they know they have it coming. I don't know how it's possible but my car came out dirtier than when it went in. Standard pay station I chose the $16 car wash which one would think hey that's going to be a good car wash it's probably going to clean my car pretty decent. I was wrong. The two employees that were there obviously would have rather been anywhere else and their work ethic showed it. I should say lack of work ethic. Whilst I got guided in to the car wash I had to swerve to go around the tip box that was placed conveniently in the path of the car wash entrance. It is definitely a very small tunnel car Wash and I kept wondering where all the water was. Or the soap. To call this car wash mediocre would be a compliment. They did have a complimentary "detail station" with free vacuums which, coincidentally, we're unable to suck anything up as they appeared to turn on but neglected to actually work. No big deal I'll vacuum at home. I went over to the detail Center to grab a towel to tow off my car and there were two in there that were being used and reused. No clean ones just two dirty ones. Fortunately I keep towels in the car and were able to deploy ones that weren't already filthy. I did manage to have a look at my tires where apparently I paid to have them slop some black slime over just the left tires the right ones remained untouched. I was able to grab one of the filthy detailing towels and wipe the crap off of my tires to try to make them look a little bit less disgusting. If I didn't know any better it looks like axle Grease. While trying to clean up my car employee number two managed to work her way out of the office and come patrol the grounds where I advised her that the vacuums don't really work and she said it'd be like that sometimes. I then showed her all of the slop on my tires and she suggested oh you only bought the $16 wash if you want the good wash that's $25. To her credit she did offer to let me go through again however I'm not going to put my truck through that. Overall it's mismanaged, a lack of maintenance, and a lack of employees that give a rat's patootie about a decent car wash. 0/10 avoid at all costs read more

Not a honest business!!! Fraud on my credit card! Went to the location, the service by the attendant was great! After going through the wash - the air dryer machine was poor at best. I received a call from the attendant that I had left my credit card there and he was going turn it into the manager. When I reached back out, 20 minutes later, to go pick up my credit card, both the card and the manager were gone and then I had over $600.00 of fraudulent charges on my credit card! 4 days later the manager still has not returned my calls. I can deal with the dryer not being the best, but I can not deal with a staff that steals. read more

I am so sad at what has taken shape at this car wash. I noticed they were always closed for a series of months this winter. This was confusing considering they were still deducting my monthly unlimited wash membership from my account. I finally caught them open last week and noticed that there is new signage added to the old signs that were there. All the people are new. Looks to have changed hands. I had used this car wash in the past and the services were very good So I decided that I would get a monthly subscriptions for unlimited wash membership on 11/7/22. Oh have wrong I was to to do this, my car had salt still on it after going thru the wash not just once time but twice . I attempted to try getting my car was a second time and still the same thing happen again. I am not going to pay for services that are bad. This place is horrible and cars do not get clean. I have placed several calls only to get the voice message that the mailbox is full and taking no message. This place was closed several times that I have attempt to go there to speak to someone, so I will be cancelling my membership and request a full refund for 2023. Never again will go here. read more

I've patronized this car wash for well over 15 years. In the past years they are frequently shut down for repairs. One month I attempted to use them "6" times and they were closed each time. No on answers the phone and they have never returned "1" phone call about being closed or crediting me for my monthly plan when I paid for car washes elsewhere due to them being closed. When Ive shared my experience with employees, they shook their head agreeing saying everyone says the the same thing and they don't have another ph# to reach anyone. There's times my car is still dirty after going through. Most recently when calling to cancel my plan, their voice message says there isn't enough space to leave a message. This is shameful, poor service, and I'll just have to stop pmts through the bank. Buyer BEWARE!! read more

This car wash is ok, a little on the expensive side for the kind of car wash that customers get. I had a road trip (about seven hours one way) on the way to Chicago my car got a lot of bugs and grime stuck on the windshield and body, I stop at a car wash there and for 20 dollars they completely removed the dirt, grime and bugs and applied a wax and I had two more regular washes for free within two weeks, very good deal. Here a this car wash you also pay 20 dollars and the wash doesn't completely remove the bugs and grime stuck on the windshield and body of the car and I only got one free regular wash within five days. The people working there are very nice and helpful but I wish the business would provide a better car wash. read more

Young women, please be careful visiting this location!! I was threatened with physical violence and called out my name by a disgruntled employee at this location. When I pulled forward, I was unsure if my left tire was fully aligned on the track. I was afraid to proceed without knowing that my tire was aligned out of fear that I would damage my vehicle. I tried asking the car wash attendant if my car was okay to proceed, but he just waited inside the car wash tunnel, continued pointing to the sign, and refused to speak for whatever reason. I was still outside of the tunnel and could not see the words he was pointing to. I reluctantly drove forward because I did not want to hold up the people behind me. When I got inside the car washing tunnel, I nervously but respectfully asked the young man if my tire was aligned okay because the car was shaking. He aggressively yelled and told me that I needed to read the sign and that he had been standing there for 20 minutes (it was 30 seconds at best) pointing to the sign, and I needed to read it. His reaction was utterly unwarranted. He then sprayed my car with the window down, wetting my shirt. I hope there are cameras in the tunnel, so his behavior can be seen. After he snapped at me, I admittedly told him sarcastically that I understood if he did not like his job but that it was no reason to take his frustrations out on me as I was just trying to make sure that my car was aligned and pointing at a sign that I could not see from outside of the tunnel did not help me. He then got even more aggressive, called me a bitch, and pseudo-threatened me, saying the following, "bring your man up here and see what'll happen. I made no threat of violence and was not aggressive with him, and he responded with the threat of violence at me for absolutely no reason. He aggressively threatened violence for merely asking that he could confirm that my car was safe to proceed and expecting verbal confirmation. Unbelievable. My daughter was so shaken up. I began to call the authorities because I was scared. But I hung up because I did not care to get anyone in trouble with law enforcement. I'm fine. But I could not in good conscious go without saying anything publicly because this young man has anger issues, and I am afraid for the safety of other young women who may encounter him while patronizing this car wash. He refused to give me his name, so I can't provide that information. If you are a woman attending this car wash, I advise going with someone who you feel can protect you as long as this young man is working there. If he can react that way for no reason, who knows what could happen to the next person. I called their corporate number to report the incident and will update this review with their response. read more

this is a budget car wash to say the least. When I signed onto the membership, they would spray your car ahead of time and towel dry your car at the end. Now there is no advance, spray, towel, drying, and rarely soap in the machine. It is closed more often than it is open. Today went to the car wash, Everything was open. however the attendant had blocked the entrance to eat his hot chips rather than push one button to start the wash. had to turn around in the entrance drive - in traffic to get out. read more

Take 5 is an example how a business, that was excellent for years, can switch owners and decline to a state that it becomes unrecognizable and where the equipment doesn't work most of the time. It's sad to see that there were many 4 and 5 star reviews years ago. This used to be a good business. Now, at any give visit, one or two of the washing street brushes don't operate. In addition, any efforts to provide a good clean wash, like spraying down the car or wiping it after the rinse, were standard back in 2018 when I bought a subscription. But since new ownership took over the sense of quality and customer orientation dropped by 90%. I feel even bad for the equipment that's there. It's always down, misadjusted and run with dirty water that leaves massive dirt stripes on the "washed" car. So, why am I still going there? I ask myself this every time I come out of this. The answer is that I wanted to support a small business and make sure there is continuity for them to run their business. But honestly, I get the distinction impression that the owners (don't know who's behind this Take 5) don't care a bit. Seems now more like a store front with a non-functional business behind. It's become a humiliating experience to go there. I even feel sorry for the people who work there. It's just humiliating to everyone. read more

Under new management has set the company to close earlier than normal. Went on a Sunday about 20 minutes before closing at 6pm, they were closed. Went today an hour and a half prior to their listed closing time of 730pm, they just closed. One part of their website lists 730pm as their closing time (as does Yelp), another part lists 6pm. That's kinda early to close after the standard was 730pm. Still bright out, people getting off work. Hopefully they work this time out after the management change or I'll have to check out Waterway since they're open later. read more

As of early 2021 they are undergoing some changes and have been closed almost all the time. Unfortunately many of us who previously signed up for unlimited monthly wash plans were still being charged even though services are severely disrupted. I finally was able to cancel my account with them by emailing customercare@icwg.com. It appears that they are owned by a nationwide car wash company based in Colorado, and accounts are being handled through their support center. Orange City Hall is aware of the issues. read more

My entire family belongs to your car wash program. Up until today, we have been happy with the service. I came in contact with a young lady with green hair who literally waved me in told me to go to neutral and she walked away: she never even pre-washed my car nor stayed around for me to ask for a towel. She didn't say hello or greet me like I have become accustom to. Because of her and my experience we will take out business elsewhere. 5 accounts will no longer be affiliated with your business. She was incredibly nasty and I hope you have some integrity for your business and train her on the customer service experience. The young men are so professional and I will miss that experience but she couldn't wash my shoes at this point. A new corporation has taken over that does not return telephone calls regarding their unlimited package which is prepaid, to answer when will they will be open again, are they going to be giving credit for this extended period that they have been closed, are their prices going to be made higher or lower? One would think that as a new company coming into an area they would be more responsible with their customer service. Their new name is Car Wash USA Express. This is a fantastic car wash! The wash is speedy but thorough, and someone hand dries it at the end! Plus when you go through they give you a little wipe that's made to be used on your interior and dashboard! I also love that they offer free vacuums - whether or not you get a car wash! As a former EMPLOYEE of this establishment when it was Converted to Take 5 Car Wash from being the old Village Express. From the technical part of things like payment process with Monthly memberships like NOT pausing AUTOMATIC payments to previous members cards; Having a DISTRICT MANAGER (Ahmed) only caring about MONEY and percentages from monthly memberships being sold. CUTTING MY FULL TIME HOURS down to 28.5 because "I don't sell enough passes on my morning shift" My job description when I was hired in was NOT commission based pay; so for my money to be taken away because people DON'T want a monthly membership from a car wash with a TERRIBLE reputation is just nonsense to me. The vacuums are free because they are TERRIBLE. Having some of the SAME motors when it was Village Express!!! My experience and after 517 days of employment there was awful. The building has NO heat. NO A/C in the summer. THE ONLY PLACE FOR HEAT was OUTSIDE in a tiny white booth that held our POS system. Winter jackets were NEVER provided for me (or my team) the time I worked there. I had to PAY money to get a jacket made just to have a company logo on my jacket that wasn't "technically uniform" very unorganized and unprofessional. I'm being 100% honest, it isn't worth working or cleaning your vehicle there. Hired in on 4/22/21 thinking it was going to be a fresh start meeting and building relationships with new customers, turned out to be the opposite because WE the NEW employees were held responsible for "taking" money from them and trying to "get over". I could understand it from their perspective 100% because if a business is closed you shouldn't be getting charged for a service you can't use. But as a new employee it was so overwhelming because how do you even begin to "understand" someone you don't even know? Then turn around and get in trouble because I'm giving back money that is OWED to people. Every maintenance issue I've ever reported was NEVER treated with a sense of urgency. The quality of the car wash is the most important thing to the customers because that's what they are coming there for; that's what they are paying for; and if that is going downhill more progressively each day, due to the neglect of Driven Brands. How is an employee such as myself supposed to be motivated and WANT to stand outside in all elements of the weather to sell a monthly membership etc...? I was physically told if it was rain, sleet or snow I HAD to stand out there and WAIT for a car even if we had 10 cars by 2:30PM. Only having a "Site manager" (Steve) to report my problems and issues to wasn't very helpful either because 100% of the time my issues were with the site manager BECAUSE he showed no care, BECAUSE he treated his job like a joke. Was never made aware how I can get in touch with ANY "higher up" so I never spoke about how bad my work experience was every single day. Site managers are Salary paid meaning they have no paper trail of clocking in and out. That being said sometimes I would have to wait pass the time I'M supposed to be off of work BECAUSE HE IS LATE EVERYDAY. This was an everyday thing, more than 1 hour late to work is UNACCEPTABLE with any position and anyone with a job should know that. I don't care if your selling water bottles, Showing up ON TIME says a lot about who you are and your character. Right before I left this company Driven Brands my hours were cut DRASTICALLY within a week, I was a full time employee and everyone knows full time workers; work 32-40hrs. every week. so I took that as a sign and left and I have never had such a strong sense of relief and stress from a job. The best exterior-only car wash in town! They have three wash packages: Regular ($8), Deluxe ($12), and Ultra ($15). We typically opt for the Deluxe or Ultra, because they'll then give you a free Regular wash if you come back within the next two days (a major plus!). The staff is always friendly and they keep the cars moving at a decent rate, so there's rarely a line. They do have vacuums behind the building, but I've never used them, so I can't attest to how well they work. read more
