On August 10, 2018 I hired Angelo from European Customer Cabinets to upgrade my kitchen with new…read morerefaced cabinets which consisted of laying a laminate material over the old wood structure and replacing the cabinet doors and drawers, replacing all countertops with white quartz and removing the center island with a new constructed one also with quartz tops. New ceiling replacement with 1/2" sheetrock and recessed lighting added. The lighting that Angelo used must have been the cheapest as it didn't even sit flush against the new ceilings and they were that very bright white. They came in a package of 6 which I did not know at the time but he only had his contractor install 5 and charged me $1500. I went to Home Depot and found the exact lighting he used and they were the cheapest! I bought a new set of much better quality and installed them myself and they looked much better. My kitchen is only 12 1/2" x 14 1/2" so it's not that big. The job took several months to complete and it was only a few weeks ago that Angelo finally came out to address the issues he ignored. The veneer he used on the center island was chipping on the corners and was chipped on the bottom pedastal of the new center island they installed. I told Angelo this right from the get go.He finally just addressed this problem this May and what he did was fill the chips and spray painted over it leaving paint all over my wood floors, see (attached picture). I was here when they were here working so I saw it all. They broke a piece off the top of my brand new microwave convec oven so now when shutting the door most of the time it thinks the door is not shut because it doesn't close correctly now with the busted piece. Cost me $1000 for this new microwave, doesn't matter... they broke it and didn't do a darn thing when brought up to him. They also left several nails on my driveway that fell out of that rust box van they use. Got a nail in my tire of my car so woke up to a flat o e morning and had to get triple A to come out to fix. Told Angelo that we ran the large magnet over our driveway and picked up several of the little screws he uses on install of his cabinets I know this because mine keep coming out of the new cabinets he installed leaving the doors hanging. I have pictures of all my claims here and would be happy to send them to whomever would like to see them. Even his crappy text message to me about my complaints and blamed me for being an unhappy widow! The nerve! Cost me $15000. For the crappy cabinets that are splitting right up the middle! I can't put anything that I used to in my drawers now as they are SO small inside now that they aren't even functional... I had to put my utensils in a container on toptoo of my counter!!! I have attempted to write my comments on his web page but he somehow updated something that instantly removed my comments. Ya think he's truthful and you want to do business with him? Think again! He never took the paint off my new kitchen floors, it's still there and I have great pictures to prove it. Angelo never offered to repair my brand new microwave or pay for the flat tire, so you may want to think twice before hiring him. He also is the first one to respond when you go on line and look for a cabinet or kitchen replacement specialist. It took him over a year to complete this job because of the constant repairing of cracking cabinets and paint pealing off and screws continuously falling out of cabinets leaving them hanging sideway until he comes to repair once again! I have neighbors that have witnessed this nightmare! Do yourself a favor and look at the pictures I have before you hire him. Terrible work and it took several months for my small kitchen and he was very expensive. Terrible work, not craftsmanship! He is no cabinet expert in my opinion. His little tiny cabinet screws keep falling out. When I finally complained about all the damages and the horrible cheap work he did he accused me of being an unhappy widow! I was appalled! This is Angelo's way of sweeping this job under the carpet and not fixing any of the items that they broke and walking away from the problems with the splits in the cabinets, the screws falling out of the cabinets, the white spray paint he left on my oak floor which is still there today. Not a nice way to conduct his business as an owner mind you! He comes across as a nice guy but he is nothing short of being a wolf in sheep clothing. He is not an honest guy at all. BE CAREFUL!

The measurements were taken on 9/30/2020 and I'm writing this review on 10/10/2020 still with no quote. We followed up via phone and the designer followed up via email, copying us.

So very disappointed! This was a multi-month long granite countertop purchase and installation…read moreprocess. Paid downpayment on 8/3. Template made 10/3. Install on 10/13 (one day late). I am attaching photos. I was excited when a man about 70ish came to do the initial measurements. I had no doubt he was a master craftsman and was thrilled. But the template was made by, I think his son. He aslo did the install. His sister called the night before he was supposed to be installing, that he was sick so it was installed a day later than agreed upon which messed up a plumber. I inspected the job before I cut the check. Only because I mentioned these problems did he confess to them. He would have left without pointing them out. I paid the full price which makes me incredibly gullible. You can see the gap of over an inch from the granite to the west side wall. You can also see where they cut into a wooden chair rail too far on the edge of the eastern side. The heartbreaker was that the puppy didn't match the grain on the two opposing ends. The center piece (sink) was laid east to west but the two side counters were cut north to south. I expected the grain to be in one direction as we bought a huge slab. The edge of the east block to the north/south block isn't flush. It was a poor job that I waited for since August (July if you count our going to the stoneyard in Windsor). I've wanted a granite countertop my whole adult life and was in tears after they left because it cost a fortune and wasn't done well. It was a poor job that cost a fortune and took months. I CANNOT RECOMMEND as the son is more an apprentice who should learn more from his elder/master before being given his own install.
