Thank you for your excellent customer service! We had a wash-and-fold order. The staff were pleasant and professional when I dropped it off, and the prices are very reasonable. They texted when my order was ready, which was a nice touch and unexpected. I had a series of circumstances that led me to be quite late in picking up the order. When I then needed to pick up the order after hours, they communicated with me promptly and re-opened their doors so that I could pick it up for an event. I've been coming to Village Cleaners for quite some time now and they've always done a great job with my dry cleaning. However, I recently learned they've increased their prices and that definitely has me feeling some type of way. I've taken all kinds of clothing here and they've consistenly gotten the job done. Depending on how early you drop your clothes off, they usually have your items ready the same day. Not only are they good with clothes, but they do great work with comforters too. I've had my queen size comforter cleaned here a few times and was very satisfied with the results. I had a couple spots on my comforter and they were able to get them right out, all for $17.99. Can't be mad at that! But here's where I have to throw some shade- this recent price increase? Not the business. Especially considering all the other cleaners in the area don't charge half of what Village is now charging. When the hispanic lady manager informed me of the the price change after I'd recently dropped off a load of clothes, I was thinking "whoa!"- and for a second, almost reconsidered my decision to leave my items. Get this: Blazers/Shirts are now $4.50, Skirts/Sweaters- $4.50, Pants/Ties- $3.75, Jackets- $4.99, and Dresses- $6.99 and up! Wtf? It's not so bad if you have a piece or two, but if you're bringing in a load, that can get expensive! $6.99 and up for dresses? Ummm, no. Because of this I recently tried another cleaners in the area whose prices start at $1.50 per clothing item. I had clothes at Village Cleaners and clothes at the new cleaners, just to compare the quality of work vs. price. My Village Cleaners tab was $30.67 for about 4 or 5 pieces. I had the same amount of items at the other cleaners- who did a fantastic job by the way, and my tab was $7.57. That's a $23 difference! I guess it's no secret that I'll be frequenting the new spot a lot more often. Clearly, Village Cleaners is doing the most with their prices. I can't say I won't come back here ever again, because they get the job done, BUT what I can say is I won't be bringing a bulk of clothes here on a regular when I can go somewhere else and get a bigger bang for my buck. Located in the shopping center across from one of my favorite Sushi joints, Koto. I"ve been using them since I married my Husband. He's been going to them for about 3 years and we're very satisfied with their services. You can drop off a load in the morning and expect it to be ready by the afternoon. We get most of our clothes laundered, which is about $1 something a shirt and do slacks/dresses dry cleaned for around $2-3 i think? Basically, we spend about $35 for the both of us worth a week and half of business work clothes. They open at 7am and close 7pm Mon-Sat. Closed on Sundays. I recommend if you live in the area, obviously :) read more

Very expensive ! Not very different than any other cleaner. Will not recommend. May be it is the location. Living in Houston please find yourself a cheaper cleaner. You should only pay 99c per shirt and $ 1.89 per regular item like dress and trousers. I do not mind driving to save money. Also they require payment in advance. read more

Took my clothes to Liberty cleaners just down Westheimer and had a horrible experience there so I decided to search Yelp for another dry cleaner close to my house. Glad I did because Village Cleaners are fast and their quality of work is great (dress shirt collars are always clean). I usually drop off my clothes after work around 6pm and they are ready by 3pm the next day. read more

I had the worst experience with this cleaners. Yesterday, I presented coupon for 15% off in order to get discount. Today I went to back get my cloths at Village Cleaners. The lady at store said she need to charged me $1.99 full price for a shirt because i used coupon. Normally, it cost $1.00 per shirt. It is a scam. It is so ridiculous. It is a rip off price. Even you used coupon you will end up pay more. Please do not support this cleaner. They are a scammer. I hope anybody else read my review and realized it. I do not want anyone become their victims. Worst over-the-phone customer service I've ever come across. Never been to a dry cleaners before so I'm calling in to get a feel & ask one question "Can you'll fix portions of a broken zipper attachment?". Lady on the phone flat out says "No, if it's faded we can't do anything about it." I tell her that is nowhere near what I just asked. She lets out a deep sigh & says "Just bring it in & we can tell you if we can do it or not". That tells me right there that they have no regard for a customer's (future customer in my case) time/money. I will never go there & recommend to anybody...just find somebody else.
