We came in on the 4th of July, having missed the parade and kids' scavenger hunt, it was one of 3 places open due to the holiday. Service was friendly and helpful! The ladies working offered samples and were ready to answer questions. The shop is cute and pretty standard for a classic scoop shop. There is some seating inside, and they sell some few non-food items (merch, squishies, etc). I chose the Black Cherry (my favorite and not available everywhere.) I was not disappointed, as good as any black cherry I've had. Our son chose a red slushie, daughter chose the pictured dole whip, which I believe was raspberry, and the small one ordered a superman with sprinkles (Free for the 4th) and eye balls. She was very excited! All the kids loved their selections. My spousal partner loved her chocolate peanut butter shake. Wins all around! We will 100% stop here again in the future if in the area. read more

This is a cute little ice cream shop at the end of the main strip of town. We've stopped here twice (a year apart) when we were visiting the Michigan International Speedway. It's adorable, it's local, mom and pop. The owners have been somewhere behind the counter both times, and they clearly hire polite local teens to serve the community. The offer free tastes of their home blended flavors, but they don't carry an annoyingly huge number of flavors where you don't know where to start. The ice cream is clearly high quality, and the flavors are outstanding! There are still plenty to choose from, enough so you won't be able to have all your favorites at one time. There were about 12-15 flavors. Mackinaw Fudge swirl, Brooklyn Bourbon Toffee, and Michigan Pothole (chocolate, Oreos, and chocolate cups) are incredible! And they put generous scoops in your cup. Last year I had the cream puff sundae, which was unique and delicious with their amazing ice cream. It's quick counter service with a smile. There are a couple tables and a small windows counter inside the A/C, and a cute bench out front. Communities need to keep local places like this afloat, because they make the world a better place. read more

This location is the best ice cream in Brooklyn. This location always has the kindest employees along with Indoor seating. That's the big take away with this establishment for me compared to the competitor. I've never had a bad experience and it is always a must when I take my son to get ice cream. read more

Good as long as they have the flavor I want, which if they don't, I usually don't order anything as I don't love ice cream as much as some people do. Their prices are high, and they are not consistent in what constitutes one scoop. I did have a problem with them leaving a stack of cones right at the cash register for everyone to breathe on. It was quite a turnoff, to me; and I did mention to them that it was an unsanitary practice and the health department would probably discourage it. Waffles cones were very fresh. The hard ice cream was excellent. They also have soft serve but we didn't try it. Service was polite. Free pup cups (vanilla with dog treat). Adequate indoor seating but none outside. There are a few benches on the street though as it's a small downtown street so we sat on one of those. read more
