I really wanted a milkshake after a bad day, and I was happy to see that MilkShake Factory is open until 10 p.m.! It's cold out now, so it wasn't very busy. There's plenty of space inside to sit and enjoy your food/drinks, and it seems like there are several community events held here based on the flyers I saw (Easter Bunny, Speed Friending, etc.). There's even a private event space that's available for rent. We were greeted soon after we arrived and had a chance to look around. We ordered the Bananas Foster and Caramel Toffee Cappuccino shakes. I was very impressed with the time and care that was put into our shakes; they were picture perfect, and they tasted amazing! Came here for a Yelp event and returned another time because the employees were so friendly and the milkshakes were amazing (and the chocolate bark)!! It's true that their chocolate is of high quality! There is just something different about the taste. I ordered a small non-dairy chocolate milkshake and it tasted sooo good! It is similar to a Wendy's frosty but better because it had tiny chocolate chunks within. There were actual strawberries in my strawberry milkshake which was a pleasant surprise! Every Thursday there's a happy hour from 4-6pm where you can get a $5 classic shake! I also learned that they have a party room in the back where you can reserve it and make chocolate bark with a group! The staff are so friendly and helpful! What a wonderful experience we had tonight thank you to the Milkshake Factory in Ann Arbor. They hosted the Yelp event this evening. We had a small tour, make our own chocolate barks, and tasted milkshakes. They even had dairy free. Now keep in mind that the sore was open the entire time we were there. The service was beyond excellent. The ambiance inside reminded me of an old time ice cream shop. The decor on the walls was great. If you are tired of the birthday parties at the pizza shop etc, consider having your party at the milkshake party there is a private party room. I will definitely be back. I love this place!! It's my first visit and I am in ! I had the pleasure of making my own chocolate bar and tasting a milkshake flight. We made our bars and had a fantastic time! The options available to personalize our bars were plentiful! This was so much fun! While our bars were setting we had a vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate shake "tasting". The vanilla and strawberry were my favorites! I can't wait to return when I'm in the area! The owners shared the history of their business and their presence in the states. We were really excited to try Milkshake Factory but overall we were disappointed in the flavor. The customer service was great! Friendly and fast and the store was clean and inviting. There really wasn't much flavor at all to the peanut butter brownie shake and the bits of brownie that were in it were just flavorless and crunchy. I didn't even know what it was at first because it lacked so much flavor and I couldn't really sense any peanut butter either. The cookie jar Shake was better than the peanut butter brownie for sure but still wasn't great. Very minimal flavor in that one as well. Overall the texture of the shakes were fantastic but the flavor was HEAVILY lacking. The presentation was also beautiful. Overall just disappointed and we wouldn't come back for shakes. I love the idea of Milk Shake Factory. It's a fun concept. I would love to hold a birthday party here for my candy-loving nephew. I visited recently for the first time to take advantage of their fabulous deal for a free shake for your birthday (if you're signed up with their rewards program). Being a lover of both raspberries and dark chocolate, I selected the raspberry truffle shake. It's a very deluxe shake topped with a chocolate bar. I enjoyed the shake, but it was loaded with mini chocolate chips and I didn't enjoy the texture of the chips after a while so I would probably omit the chips or select a different flavor next time. I had the chocolate cake shake. It is pretty sweet but that is expected when you order this flavor. It even came with a cake pop. My husband had strawberry. My daughter had the chocolate dipped strawberry. It is pretty pricey. $33 with tip for 3 shakes. This is a place we will come back to as a once in a while treat. My first time coming to the MilkShake Factory. Given that milkshakes are the primary item sold, one would think they would be pretty good. Yes, they do deliver on there milkshakes, these milkshakes are a touch above your standard milkshakes. The strawberry pretzel milkshake was advertised as their special so they may not have this one all the time. The strawberry had the perfect amount of tart and the salt from the pretzel enhances the strawberries. The confetti cupcake milkshake was pretty good as well taste lots sprinkled and frosting in the milkshake. The classic Oreo shake was solid for $6.75. Each shake is 16oz and the rest of the space is filled with whip cream or other toppings depending on the shake you choose. The strawberry shake was steep at $9.95 and the cupcake confetti was $8.75, so not the cheapest option, can't say I would come here regularly, but when I want to treat myself and the kids would definitely consider coming here. They do have a special happy hour on Thursday from 4-6pm all classic shakes are $5 so this would include the oreo, but not the other two shakes, I ordered. read more

Stopped by this cute milkshake shop in Ann Arbor. For me, milkshakes are hit or miss. But this place was pleasantly surprising. It's in the west age shopping plaza so there is plenty of parking. The storefront is bright and in a very bustling strip mall. I ordered a Chocolatier for my son and a Raspberry and Cream shake for myself. His was every bit as chocolatey as you could imagine, with fudge and chocolate chips spun into the shake. Mine was refined with a fresh raspberry puree and whipped cream. It was delightful. For around $10 they offer a nice serving but the quality is what really shines through. They had some other non-milkshake sweets that we didn't try but everything looked enticing. These are hands down the best milkshakes I've ever had - and I like to think that I am a milkshake and malt connoisseur. I got the peanut butter brownie shake and my wife got the cookie dough shake (my MIL got the chocolate raspberry but I didn't try it). They put a lot of toppings into the shake so it's not just all ice cream. The topping ingredients and ice cream they use are really high quality - well worth the price for a well-made treat. Now... is it worth it? Yeah, maybe as a treat for special occasions. But I certainly won't be coming here often. I just think it is SO expensive for the quantity you get. The DF shake was $13 instead of the normal $11 because of the DF up charges. That's just wild to me for how small the shakes are.
