The manager said he would do the job the first thing the next day. After two days and no word from the shop, I called and was curtly told by the manager that my bike was not ready. When I asked for a new ETA, the owner told me he had no idea and would call when the work was finished. Instead of a one-day turnaround, my bike was in that shop for 6 days. When I arrived to pick the bike up, the same manager not only provided no apology for the length of time to replace the tires, he acted like he had done me a favor to get the work done at all. This was my second time doing business with this shop over the past year with almost identical results both times. I will avoid the shop in the future.

Why were they unable to accommodate us? We didn't make an appointment for the maintenance on the used bike, which is reasonable, so we asked about trading in our used one. The answer was a flat NO because the owner has to make the deal, so I asked if we could call the owners and make a deal. The answer was a more affirmative NO. This is supposedly a retail outlet? Really? Maybe they are, but while the guy was all about telling me NO, another guy was still trying to upsell my husband on a deal that was already shut down by his colleague, so we were then told how uncomfortable my used bike is and how we should buy a new one. After being told to take a number on maintenance. DO NOT tell me how your product, sales, and service are quality while refusing my business. Village Cycles in Paddock Square seems a bit too uppity for what they purport to offer, so I went to TREK bicycles in Wildwood and spent $1600 and feel much, much better about the product, sales, and service because I actually received RESPECTFUL sales, and service! I removed most of it. The throttle worked while we were carrying it home. We were told a price of about $60 with tube and labor, over the phone. 45 mins tops. Upon arriving, we were told it would cost more if they didn't have the right tools. But they had the tools at the other store in Crystal River. Then we were told it he couldn't get the all the rubber out and it should have no effect on the ride. Today, we use the bike for the first time, and the power and all the lights turned on, but both the pedal-assist and throttle didn't NOT work. My friend called up there and they told her we brought it in banged up??? SHE PAID OVER $80 FOR SERVICES, BY A PERSON WHO DOES NOT TEST THEIR WORK BEFORE RETURNING TO CUSTOMER. They don't mind bad reviews. We were told.

This company specializes in fixing roadbikes, very expensive carbon roadbikes. We just bought a…read moreused carbon fiber mountain bike and it was damaged in shipping. The bike suffered a puncture and after investigation we landed here for repair. The couple who own and work in this warehouse gladly quoted us $450 to fix the puncture, even though mountain bikes aren't their specialty. After three weeks, when my my fiance went to pick up his bike, he found himself very disappointed to be overcharged and with a not so great repair job. After much discussion, the kind owners decided to try again and are currently reworking the repair. We hope this next time will be better. Stay tuned.. A couple weeks later we went to pick up his fixed bike. We were so pleased and happy with Joey and his wife who fixed the bike to the way it should be. They were super nice, friendly and did quality work. After this experience we would definitely use this repair shop again. They corrected the issue and we were so happy.
