Have been using Village Green for our lawn maintenance for quite a few years, this year we added pest and mosquito control. Our lawn has never looked better and their attention to details when it comes to pest control is top notch! We switched from a competitor and the mosquito control has never been better! Today (11.25.2025) the owner actually performed our services! That says something when the owner takes time to perform services to allow his staff to either be off and take care of business or maybe he was just helping out so they could enjoy some time with their family over the holidays. We had to have a sprinkler line repaired where a tree root had damaged it. Lee and Juan were super prompt, polite, and professional!

We hired Ken and his team to redo our entire 1/2 acre backyard. It was a huge project, and they did an unbelievable job. The communication throughout the entire process was fantastic. They took their time and did ALL the required prep work. Most companies will just come dig a hole, plant something and then cover it up with mulch. They actually created the beds, tilled it at least twice and included compost, and then dug the holes and planted. Prep work is everything when it comes to landscaping. I've made the mistake of hiring the "cheaper" option before, and it shows. You for sure get what you pay for in landscaping. In addition to the plants, their team did extensive work to my existing irrigation system. That turned out really well too. In addition to the plants, my existing grass looks 10x better now too. The follow up so far has been phenomenal as well. Ken has come out a couple times, and so has the irrigation team to ensure everything is getting the appropriate amount of water, etc. They don't just do the job and then forget about you. They make sure that everything is done COMPLETELY. A big shout out to Hannah and her team - Johnny, Miguel and Kristian. They were all amazing. We still have a lot more work that needs to be done, and they'll definitely be the ones getting the work. A+, trustworthy, and just downright good people. Highly recommended. read more

Run,Run,Run. They treated my yard and burnt the whole front yard. I had to replace all the grass.

I've been using Village Green Lawn to maintain my yard for a few years and they are indeed the best. Nothing against my neighbor but they deal with weeds by mowing them and even though their crabgrass has spread like wildfire, there is none in my yard. Ken is an expert in this field and is always available to help and answer questions. They usually come out to re-treat my yard even when India my request one. The service was ok at times BUT they either missed billing me or sent it to the wrong address and sent it to collections without so much as a phone call or a duplicate bill. They said they tried to call and our voice mails were full. Thats a bold face lie or they have issues trying to use the phone to dial the correct number. Either way both our phones are always empty of voice mails so this was total bulls**t! My advice to current customers is the billing lady has issues so beware! By the way my credit score is over 800 and I have never missed a payment in my 49 years of doing business with people. read more

The gentleman that came out was very nice, but no one told me how much they charge just for labor when I booked the appointment to fix a few sprinkler heads. They charge you right off the bat 2 hours at a $270 rate. Then they do the work and you have the cost of the heads, etc... That amounted to $65. so for 2 mins to fix a couple of sprinkler heads, and a busted spout they charged me $330. Catch here is that he didn't finish the work in those 2 hours so they needed to come back. Guess what again to charge the $270 trip charge. I feel so ripped off it is not even funny. I do not plan to ever use them again. read more

VillageGreen were recommended to move some heads on the irrigation system. Johnny was the technician and he did a great job and was very helpful. In addition to the work I requested, he walked me around the entire irrigation system, explained how the system worked and gave me advice on using the system throughout the year (I am new to Texas). Would not recommend doing business with these people. I applied for a foreman position and they interviewed me over the phone twice. Then had me come do a "2-day" working interview in which they pay you to come work for them so you can see their operation. They like to scream at each other and use vulgar language while at peoples homes which I thought was very unprofessional. I worked very hard to do the things they obviously didn't want to do and after the day I sat down with the owner to talk to him about how things went. The meeting went fine and I honestly thought I would get the job. They then told me to give them their shirt back and they would get back with me later that night. The owner called and said they were going to move another direction. I asked him why and he wouldn't give me an answer. I would understand if he would have given me and actual answer but the way he handled it made me think they just wanted to hire someone for a day of labor to help them catch up on their schedule. Just didn't like the way the handles it or the way they handled their business. Would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

We have been Village Green customers for just over a year now. In that time, we have found them to be consistent, reliable, flexible, and professional on all fronts. We use them for a near-full care package and have been delighted with the results, especially the lawn work and seasonal color installations in our front beds. The staff in and out of the office is a pleasure to work with as well. An example of the level of service you can expect under a contract with Village Green: they sent us some photos of areas in our lawn that were not getting the right amount of water and suggested a sprinkler system service call. We had that with Sam this past weekend, and it was an excellent session for a minimal investment - he fixed our coverage issues on the spot and helped us improve the schedules for our watering while still meeting watering restrictions.
