Gel acrylic

I actually like the way my nails turned out but they need to work on customer service, they barely spoke it was so quiet and uncomfortable. And they are pricey I spent$116 on a full set and a manicure... I'll never go back

Even worse with the flash.

I have personally gone to this location many times but I always use the same person. However, as a day of relaxation, I treated someone to a spa and manicure. Her experience was less than satisfying. The gentleman, John, was extremely rough with the manicure using his long nails to push her cuticles back. To the point he made her bleed. He continued on her bleeding finger by trying to use the top coat to stop it. Yes, he put the blood back in the clear polish and I'm sure he is going to use for someone else. He seemed angry that he was even at work today. I use to send all my friends there, I will make no other referrals. Do better.

French gel by Steve.

I hate when manicurists try to tell me how they want a French manicure to look. I'm the one that needs to look at it, so how about you do what I ask? I got no lip about it from Steve so that's 4 stars in my book right there. I also really appreciated that he took the time to remove my existing gel manicure, being really careful with the file to avoid scraping my skin. While Steve did a beautiful job, unfortunately, my gel manicure just didn't last. In less than a week, one of my nails had started to peel from the side of the nail bed. Just 9 days in, a massive chunk had peeled off another nail--and I'm careful. Other than washing my hands after using the restroom, or while in the shower, these badboys stay gloved and dry. No reason for a gel manicure to be peeling after 9 days other than poor product.

I went in with my boyfriend for a nice treat before prom. I was also super excited to show him what it's like to get a pedicure. I set an appointment for 2:30, we showed up around this time but had to wait till about 3:00 until someone saw us. I didn't mind as they seem to take their time and I was in no particular rush. It was nice once we sat down they let my boyfriend sit down next to me in a pedicure chair and put his feet in the water while he waited for someone to work on his feet. Although he did complain from then the water became cold and even when the lady was working on him the water always slipped into a cold temperature. I didn't have this problem so I'm not sure if this was just because of his need for hot water or just an accidental moment. I enjoyed how the metal tools came from the sealed bag which typically shows that they've been sterilized. The only issue was that the file was definitely used on others and my boyfriend pointed out the pumice stone was just rinsed after they used it and put it back in the drawer which makes me wonder if they also clean that. But there's no real evidence to make me strongly think they just reuse things on everyone. I more so noticed the used file and buffer once I was getting my manicure done. I got the slightly more expensive pedicure that can to 30$ I think it was called the spa pedicure. And it was nice. I like the massage and the scrub and hot towel. Definitely a relaxing moment. The ladies were also very nice to use when we explained how we were ticklish when using the pumice stone. They even offered my boyfriend a clear coat on his nails which I thought was super cute. Following the pedicure, the lady that worked on me helped me move my shoes to the chair which was very sweet of her and I appreciated that gesture a lot. I got the sns powder nails which ran be about 40$. I generally have shorter nails because my nails have been going through a period of just being kind of weak. So I didn't add a tip because I wanted them to have a chance to not be too damaged and stressed. I think they did a lovely job on my nails. She was very good at cutting around the cuticle and shaping my nails. Even fixed me being clumsy and slipping my hand ruining the clear coat. But she fixed it which was great. My only issue is that with all the filing some of my nails are a bit too short for my comfort but it's nothing terrible. I read something about having to use a small delegate container for powder when doing the sns nails. I'm not sure about the science behind the cleanliness of what to do, but for people wondering they do just dip the finger into the main pot of powder. There's no small containers per each costumer. Overall, it was a relaxing nice experience. The music was pop music made classical which I personally love. Other than the questionable pumice stone and the hygiene of the tools, the salon looks and feels very nice. The people were very informed of the wants I had and knew a lot about what they were doing. I would definitely go again (but also would pay more attention to what they do with the tools that are supposed to be one use).

Beautiful acrylics by Nancy
Linette G.

This is my new go to nail place. Nancy and Jason are experts with acrylic. I have terrible nails that peel and break and suck (spare me, I know acrylic doesn't help) but I'm kind of vain and I like having nice looking nails! Ever since my first visit about a year ago, Nancy has done an incredible job making sure my nails look natural and she listens when I tell her I like the nail to be thin and oval. Recently, Jason has also done my nails and he is the same. Really listens to what I want them to look like and my nails honestly look flawless every time I leave that salon. People are always so surprised when I tell them my nails are fake. They are never ever rude and the entire staff is friendly. They have tons of regulars and a huge variety of colors, especially gel! Their pedicures are also fantastic Compared to other nail spas, Village nails is second to none when it comes to acrylics, I've been to at least 6 other salons in the area and no one gets them as natural looking as Village. Two very well manicured thumbs up!

Over 2 weeks old!

This is the best nail place in the Baltimore metro area! The owners and technicians, Jason and Kathy, are superb. I drive in from Westminster because the quality of service is so much better! My gel manicures always last at least 2 weeks looking perfect, and if I let them grow out, then 3 weeks! They are both fast, neat, and perfectionists!

The chip
Janay S.

Didn't live up to the hype. I know everyone loves this place BUT......my gel manicure chipped after only 4 days. I didn't pay $35 for gel for it to chip like regular nail polish. The service is fast and the people are friendly however I would not recommend for gel manicures.

Once again, Tammy for the win
Emily T.

This place is THE BEST. I have been going here since September and they are so consistent. Always clean, friendly and helpful. I get a gel fill and polish every time, $35 (with design $45)- it is worth every penny, always lasting 3-4 weeks! I make appointments, but if you go in the mornings you can easily walk in. After 3, make an appointment. Everyone there is good, but Tammy is effing incredible SO good at shaping and design, I have never left disappointed. One time I saw one of the technicians change the color of someone's nails 5 times before they were happy- no complaints, didn't charge extra, smiling and gracious the whole time. I just can't say enough positive things about this salon, they are simply wonderful:)

Poorly shaped nail from my gel manicure

This is the second time John has done my nails and never again! He is too rough, shapes them unevenly, files down to my skin and wouldn't cut them as I asked. Tracy is wonderful and Sunita is EXCEPTIONAL, but John is the worst. I will go back only for Sunita.

Great gel mani
Liz G.

Never disappoints! Clean space, nice staff, and am always well taken care of! Would definitely recommend.

And this was after choosing one of the pedicures that was specifically supposed to come with all of that and asking the tech multiple times for it. I have friends who come here to get nail extensions and designs and they have said good things, so it may just be that this place specializes in those more complicated services and doesn't really care to do the basics. I will not be returning.

The nail tech who worked on me (Judy) seemed rushed and uninterested the entire time. She was rough while working on my toes and kept pressing her thumbnail into my big toe, which was uncomfortable. I also noticed that my big toenail ended up being cut at an angle, and when I pointed it out, it wasn't acknowledged or corrected. I also asked for a specific polish color that I've gotten before ("Lucky Red"), but was told they no longer carry it. The alternative color that was used wasn't what I asked for and didn't look the same. Another uncomfortable moment was when I was paying and the technician stood over me the entire time while I was trying to resolve a quick banking issue. I will say that when the male manager is present, the shop usually runs much more professionally and I've had good experiences in the past. Unfortunately my recent service didn't reflect that standard, and because of this experience I'll likely look for another salon moving forward.

Gel mani with white French was also good, but the edges were too sharp, so the nails chipped on almost all 10 fingers within a week. I returned 4 weeks laterer with my teen son who needed a classic pedi. Son was jumpy and ticklish, so his tech realized it was his 1st (actually 3rd in his life) and she became extra patient. Kenny on the other hand commented that it had been "long time pedicure manicure" so I corrected him it's only been a month AND that he was the last to do them. His coworkers laughed when I said 'that's why I'm here.' I asked for an iridescent pastel, or cats eye, or chrome, all of which he claimed he didn't have. He offered white again. Funny that 2/3 of the customers asked for french white. I showed him a simple colored french design, but he said "nail art guy not here today."I checked the baskets and found ALL 3 I requested-- iridescent, cats eye, AND chrome. He spoke in Vietnamese and then said it's $15 extra. I agreed, but he clearly didn't think I would, so the manager warned the color wouldn't last. Disappointed, I accepted and asked if he could shape my finger nails ballerina/coffin since they're basically chipped into that shape already. He said yes, then proceeded to overshape ilnto oval. I just accepted it and told him to do what he felt comfortable doing, and he thanked me. He butchered my nails down so there wasn't even enough freedege for french. Some nails have no gel on either side, others have too much. To ice the cake, he cut my cuticle my skin and I bled, he didn't massage or lotion my hands, and didnt offer me a sip of water or wine, despite my $130 bill. My son could tell I was upset and told me to leave a 1 star review. I will never return.

Wish I lived in Baltimore because I could have excellent nail care provided by either Chin or An,…read morethe husband & wife team who own and operate this neighborhood gem of a nail salon and spa, on a consistent basis. My nails were in horrible shape when I landed at BWI so, within my first few hours of getting settled into the row home where I was cat sitting for a few days, I began searching through local nail salons and reading their reviews. Enchanted caught me hook, line, and sinker! The team here has a true and steady local following, and now I know why firsthand. Chin believes only in soaking off the existing nails and will not hurry the visit by using the grinder most places use. He explained to me that it wears away at the strength of my natural nail and that I should insist my nail salon back home takes the time to soak off my nails. With that being said, Chin took great care in getting my very damaged and very short nails back to looking really nice, and we agreed only one tip for a nail that I had bit off so short it was painful. An chimed in on the color selection, and the two of them got me to a beautiful shade of champagne. As I sat in their salon, I lost sight of the fact that I was right off Eastern Avenue. The atmosphere is tranquil and very relaxing. Good conversation was shared between the owners, another team member, and two regulars of theirs who were super pleasant. In fact, An was kind enough to text me that they were running a little behind for my appointment and also mentioned to look for the blue awning off of Ann Street. If you are fortunate enough to live near Enchanted I highly recommend you get there soon. And if you are visiting Baltimore and in need of nail care as I was last Saturday then call them up for an appointment!
