I grew up outside Kingston, live in CA now and get a mani-pedi every two weeks. Anytime I'm back to visit, it's a struggle to find a good mani-pedi place. After many frustrating years, I think I've finally found it. I will admit, it was a bit weird walking in, as the shops only two employees are both men. As a man, I'm used to women manicurists. The vibe is refreshingly different - while there was mellow instrumental music playing, it was very quiet, allowing for a true sense of relaxation and zen...the men are friendly and the place is sparkly clean. The guy that did my mani-pedi was great....although I'd have liked the massage portion to be a bit longer, I'm very happy. This will now be my go-to place anytime I visit. Thank you! read more

my new favorite place! it seems as though there are only 2 (male!) nail techs. i've been to nail salons in the area where male nail techs have made me feel uncomfortable, but they were amazing, sweet, and professional! i got a mani pedi and i wore a skirt, and the man gave me a towel for my lap so that he wouldn't see up my skirt :) my nails came out great, and the prices were super reasonable! the place is small and extremely sanitary, i love it! i will definitely be back! read more

If he doesn't like the way my nails turned out, he has no problem redoing them without me saying anything. I know that when I go to get my nails done, they are going to look great.
