If you're in town at Big Bear and don't want to miss a good showing of the latest movie, this Village Theater is just the place. Keep in mind, it's just a regular theater with no frills to seating or other amenities besides snacks. You can buy you tickets at the window in advance or chance it by buying close to the start of the movie. You won't be able to select your own seating on an app or have reclining seats. This Theater is right next door to Saucy Mamas. If you are parked in the village you can park behind the next street over with the public parking. It's free and you can park all day. Since this is a small theater be sure to review the showing date and times carefully. Overall it was a nice experience to go a theater not affiliated with Regal or AMC. They are their theatre company.

Very quant little theater with three screens. Very welcoming staff and a good selection of concessions. Every Tuesday is five dollar screenings! I saw the naked gun which was so so lol. The chairs were plush and comfortable but very upright so you feel like you're on the airplane without your seats back. Good sound & good picture. Recommend!

The place was in decent shape and the tickets weren't too expensive. I had a nice time with the family.

The theatre was located in the village area. It is small and cute, had good times for showings and prices were reasonable.

Cute small theatre that was showing current box office hits. Theatre in the village close to hotels and the restaurants.

Love the vibe and it's nice, but they don't accept American Express. Hope they accept it in the future.

For a small mountain town this little theater is the best with current movies and the seats are very comfy.

An endless supply of alcohol for adults, non-stop music, and some games outside for the little ones as well. They have a few vendors outside if you feel like perusing. I personally find that for me I can hang out at Oktoberfest for a few hours before I start to get a bit bored. I always stay long enough to watch the stein holding competition, a few drinks and a few rounds of snacks. My favorite part of the entire affair every year is that it's pretty decently priced. For small parties, you don't necessarily need to pay for preferred seating, especially if you like to walk around. The free take home shuttle is also such a god-send if you're staying nearby. Will definitely come back again! Maybe not yearly but for sure every once and again :)

The band Lady Hosen was phenomenal. Every employee was super fun & engaging! Had the grilled bratwurst with the sauerkraut, warm, German potato salad, and it was scrumptious. Shared a large pretzel as well! Fabulous fabulous time! We got there at one right when it started and left about 6:00. We heard it gets really crazy later in the day so we opted for the earlier time. Highly recommend!

Not only is the air cold, it smells fresh. Also, you don't need to bring a ski parka into the theater with you. Unlike other movie theaters around, this one was perfect. In terms of temperature. The food is exceptional. In addition to reasonable prices, they also serve beer, wine, and hard cider. Especially noteworthy was a concession employee named Shane. He made me feel welcome and valued as a customer. That's such a rare thing these days. This visit was such a breath of fresh air. I showed up to see a movie with my deaf friend. The staff didn't even know what closed captioning was. Finally, one of the more diligent of the two, found some virtual reality glasses in a closet somewhere. These were a reasonably high-tech solution for closed captioning. But no one knew how it worked, the manager was not on site, and the worker that tried to help had no confidence in the system. He did offer to activate open captions for the movie, but said we would have to wait for the manager. Everyone on duty in the movie theater should be able to accommodate a disabled guest. No one should have to wait for a special employee to arrive. Eventually, we just left. I had high hopes for this theater after reading the reviews. But clearly they do not accommodate the disabled.
