I want to say that I am so so happy at what the Tyler Galleria 16 has become. Before this, I always thought that the IMAX screen was going to still be the cheap Xenon projector with the old red seats, but when I saw that the walls were put up for construction months ago, I was eager for the opening, and boy was I lucky that on July 9th, the day I was going to watch Moana in Dolby Cinema, the new IMAX opened, and I literally was jumping for joy. Not only did I get to experience it in its first showing, I was the first ever to go inside it. I'm so excited for it especially since it opened just in time for The Odyssey, plus the other screens are incredible as well, although I'd love to see something else like ScreenX or 4DX to replace one of the XL screens. Either way, #1 AMC now! P.S. I wish to work here sometime in the future! read more

Devil wears Prada 2 was a successful event! The staff were nice and took into consideration all customers including me with disabilities. Food was good, they allow you to order ahead! Ambiance is hit or miss because you cant control the mall! Overall, management does great training! Will return. I remember how I felt after and appreciated is the best! read more

The bathrooms here are utterly disgusting. Unsanitary conditions, multiple stalls overflowing with waste and feminine hygiene products, no soap at dispensers, and seemingly nobody going in to clean even after we made a complaint. Not coming back to this location, Starlight Cinemas in Dos Lagos is cheaper, cleaner, and has better overall service. The only reason I even came to this location today is because of proximity and limited showtimes for movies in my area; this is insane when 3 tickets for IMAX cost $80, and we spent $50 for concessions/drinks. Your women's restroom on the side with the IMAX theater was absolutely disgusting today. I did let the gentleman at the ticket scanning station inside know but it was busy and he probably couldn't have cared less. Your patrons who spend a boatload of money on tickets and food deserve to have a clean bathroom. Also the water coming out of the sinks is entirely too hot for handwashing and there was no soap. We won't be back and will stick to going to the theater at Dos Lagos. read more

I thought AMC was a bougie movie theater based off the prices but sheesh not the case here. This is my first time at AMC galleria and it was disappointing for the price . $ 10 dollar sodas and 12 dollar large ( cold ) popcorn . The theater room was old red seats that are really uncomfortable. I assumed they would have been the recliner type most theaters have . Just seems very outdated for almost 20$ a ticket . I will say that when it came to the employees , service was great . Bathrooms were very clean and I saw multiple people cleaning and doing a great job of keeping things in nice order . Refills were quick . The bad review is for the old, run-down theater. read more

This AMC is located in a shopping center in Riverside. In terms of AMC's, they have a solid amount of screens and your typical AMC concessions with good service from friendly folks. I was in the area and stopped by to watch Anaconda. Process of getting a ticket was easy as usual through my app. I would say the only downside of this particular location is how to get up here. I'm sure it's easy for people familiar with the shopping center or been here multiple times. As someone who's come in for their first time I got a little lost and I had to park in a lot downstairs and find my way up. read more

Hate this location.....the seats were sticky, the cup holders were filled with old soda, the creases of the seats had food crumbs and sticky stuff and trash. The recline button on my seat didn't work, both mine and my husbands seats were sticky and dirty and we paid $52.96 for these seats and tickets. If I'm paying this much for movie tickets I would at least expect CLEAN WORKING SEATS. read more

The AMC Tyler Galleria 16 is located at the Tyler Mall in Riverside. I used to go to this movie theater a lot, as it was the closest AMC to me at the time. It's always been a decent theater. They do have a full bar available; you can find it to the right when you enter. The concession stand has the typically treats and popcorn. Prices are normal for movie theater fare. My recent visit was alright. I went to go see Demon Slayer with my husband and a friend. The recliner seats were already sold out. We ended up sitting in the old school chairs that are uncomfortable. Now, Demon slayer is a 2 and a 1/2-hour movie. LONG. My tailbone and back were killing me after that movie. It was very unpleasant. It was also warm inside the theater. I could feel the air conditioning was on, it just wasn't high enough. Our movie theater was warm and congested feeling. I felt like I was breathing everyone's carbon dioxide lol No but really, need some fresh air circulating and some cold air conditioning please. Better seats too. Those were garbage lol read more

We've been to this theater many times and always have a fantastic experience. It's located in Tyler Mall, easily accessible from the parking structure on Magnolia Ave and Hughes Alley, near the Yard House. The entire place is clean, the sound quality is perfect, and the seats are comfortable and spacious. A small bar and seating area are available in the lobby. The restrooms are always spotless, and every staff member we've encountered has been friendly and helpful. Shoutout to Isabella, who was extremely attentive and offered help when we looked a bit lost. It's great to see plenty of cashiers open at the snack counter, no matter the time or day. read more

Located at the Tyler Galeria mall in Riverside. There is a parking garage as well as a parking lot. Inside was clean and we were greeted by friendly staff upon entry. Concessions was stocked, we had a freebie from the app for free cookies. The concessions staff were also friendly and made orders quickly. The mini cookies were warm chocolatey gooey goodness. The new mystery dippin dots was available so we tried that too. The flavor tasted like strawberry banana with pop rocks. It was tasty. We were in the Dolby theatre, seats were clean screen was clean ans free from marks. The sound was nice as well. read more

The theatre size for the movie was perfect. The seats, lobby and bathrooms all need updating. I cannot complain about food, candy and drinks because that is up everywhere. But a $54 bowl of popcorn??? Even Yoda or whoever, had a quizzical look on the bowl. The lines moved fairly quickly. The service was pleasant and efficient. All that is secondary for me as I go to the movies only when I really want to see something. So the seating, sound and screen are the most important. What's going on with this theater and the Air Conditioning? Summertime and with the exception of the lobby and Dolby theater, the AC is either off or turn up high making for a stuffy experience. They could invest in changing the seats too. The IMAX is getting redone but how one by one the smaller screens next. read more

I've never been to an AMC so this was a cool experience. Coming here made me want to become an A-Lister just so that I can come more to watch more movies. One complaint however is that it seemed outdated. The seats were run down and the traditional type. If I want to see a movie now a days I want to see it in a recliner and such. This is the coldest theater in the United States. Like for real, there is no heat and you have to bring a blanket just to sit through a movie. It's ridiculous how chilly it gets, especially during our cooler months. Turn on the dang heat, stop freezing your patrons out. No one wants to sit through a film like this. Went to see Michael and the movie was amazing, however my experience at this terrible theater wasn't. First off I hate when theaters advertise "reclining" seats when all they do is lean back some. Also when I go see a movie I understand 15-20 minutes or trailers and maybe an advertisement for the theater. Over 35 minutes is INSANE!!!! Went to a 2:15pm showing and the movie didn't start until after 2:40pm...PATHETIC!! Worst of all, the audio cut out not once, not twice, but FOUR TIMES!! I couldn't receive a refund because I purchased from Fandango and I absolutely wouldn't accept tickets to another showing. I will keep my business at Galaxy Mission Grove that actually have seats that recline and you can kick your feet up like you're in your living room. It's a very clean location and parking is within walking distance all around. It is also located near many restaurants so it's easy if you want to make a whole outing with dinner and a movie. They usually have movie selections that can't be found at other theater's. The sound is great when watching a movie and all seats are pretty good. They do also have a great food selection. We ordered a large popcorn, drinks, and some pretzel bites that had a spicy dipping sauce. They had butter "flavor" to pour over the popcorn which is basically not butter but I think that is how it is inside movie theaters. The food line was minimal and you can order food on the app as well. read more

Nice concessions area with designated pick up area for online orders. Sodas and large popcorn has free refills. Theater has a mix of standard stadium seating or reclining seats. Staff were friendly and helpful. Haven't been here in a long while. Glad it's still thriving and better than the last visit. read more

Visited this AMC twice now, and both times (different screens) had the standard stadium seating with cloth padded seats. I never feel super comfortable or sanitary in these seats, but sometimes this is the only theater showing a movie I want to see, so I can deal with it. This is the first movie theater I've seen that sells merch (not just food). I think it's genius that they sell snuggies/sweatshirts and more theaters should do the same! read more

Me and my girlfriend are regular paying customers trying to watch pg-13 movies and we're met with the lady scanning tickets today at 11:30 am on June 15th, 2026. After online purchasing tickets as we always do, we select the "child" tickets because the adult tickets are meant for those 18 and over and for watching Rated-R movies. Since we do not meet those requirements, we have always bought child tickets with no issues from any associates working until today. When arriving, the ticket scanner worker, an older woman, began to give judgmental looks as we were pulling up the tickets on my phone. After she scanned our tickets she then said "These are child tickets, how old are you guys?" She did not ask for our ID's, only our age which seemed unprofessional. When we then explained that we always buy child tickets because we are still under the "adult" age, she then said "we can help you over here and your going to have to buy another set of tickets" to the same pg-13 movie that we couldn't watch only with adult tickets. Please check your associates because this is completely ridiculous and unacceptable considering customer service and how it's meant to be handled respectfully. Tone was rude, unfriendly and judgmental. Definitely not the kind and polite customer service that other theaters provide. read more

Came here on a weekday to watch, "Past Lives." Expected chill time with basically empty seats so it feels like your own theater. Definitely to my liking and it's relaxing! The staff here were all courteous and great, no complaints there. Only thing was the food selection. Not that concessions are suppose to have everything, but wish they had more menu items and sauce options. I did get the chicken tenders and they were pretty good, just a tad salty for my taste. I got a Heinz Honey Mustard Sauce with it...but it was really off flavor - not sure if it's gone bad, but it didn't taste like Honey Mustard to me. Getting here is easy, they have their own designated covered parking lot. I'd come back to watch other movies. read more

Went last night for the Stranger Things event. Fandango was supposed to send me vouchers for concessions. They never sent me the email and I went to customer service. Customer service could not pull anything up to assist me and claimed that fandango had changed things and they couldn't figure it out. I spoke to a manager and he literally said he could do nothing. The customer service at the theater is abhorrent. They knew what the voucher was for and they could've just given me what I had paid for. I had my receipt and all the information except for the actual vouchers. Other people at the theater were experiencing the same issue. Instead of honoring the vouchers we had paid for they also were denied and not refunded. I had to pay almost extra $30 to get my concessions after they were already included with my tickets. Why they didn't just honor everybody's vouchers who were able to produce a receipt is beyond me. I will never return to the theater again, and I urge others to do the same. I feel like AMC robbed me of $30 considering I had already paid for the concessions with my ticket. read more

If Gotham city had a movie theater this would be it. This place has gone so down hill it's honestly a disgrace to the City of Riverside. The management here has driven this place to the ground. This theater is not even old and it's in shambles. The entire place looks run down and dirty. The bathrooms were dirtier than bathrooms I've been to in cheap bars in Tijuana. I went to a 10:30 am movie showing and the bathrooms smelled and looked disgusting- like what the heck they literally just opened?? The seats in the theater are gross and uncomfortable. We waited forever in the snack bar line while they tried to fix an old broken receipt machine. Then we get a large popcorn to share and ask for a box (which they have stacks of boxes right there in plain sight) and they say no if we want something to share popcorn in they can only give us these large awkward plastic bags that are like 9 times the size of the popcorn bucket. Who wants to shuffle in a noisy plastic bag everytime they grab popcorn disturbing other movie goers? To top it all off the escalators to the parking lot were broken. What a joke. AMC corporate you need to replace management and put some money into this place. YIKES! read more

First, let me start off by saying I'm a die hard Devil wear's Prada fan however, the service giving at the premiere was extremely disappointing, sad even! My sisters & I either took the day off work or left work early for the 1st showing of the Devil wears Prada 2. We purchased tickets for the Dolby Theater which was supposed to include glasses and a runway magazine. When we arrived we were told that they only had enough magazines and glasses for 1 show which was the 6:00 show. We were told that it. Was only supposed to be for the 6:00 show. If that was the case why wasn't the price for seating different? Because they stated that we had matinee seating fast forward to them not having any other the devil wears Prada souvenirs besides the throw blanket. The whole experience of seeing the movie was completely ruined. I said this to say don't ever go see a new movie that's premiering at a amc theater. I will never see a movie there again idc if it's a free ticket. read more
