The building doesn't look like much on the outside but the food is outstanding. The only drawback is the back outside area really needs to be cleaned up. I don't think the owners think of this area much and you can tell. But the food is great. read more

I hesitate to review this places because it's already busy from the locals. I don't want you to go there and fill up the place. Hehe. The fajitas are worth the drive from Plano. The salsa is fresh. They used to have a service meat counter, but took it out to add more tables. It's a crowded hole in wall. Oh, I ordered the mojarra, which is deep fried tilapia, and the servers eyes popped out, it brought a few side glances from nearby tables when she brought it out. There was a steady stream of people ordering carry out and people waiting for a table. The chips and salsa alone made our meal. Thr chips were fresh and not too salty. The salsa is plenty spicy; not overly watery. I ordered Chile relleno. That's usually a hit or miss. Their version was fantastic. Not deep fried. Stuffed with cheese and freshly grilled chicken. My carne asada loving daughter was very happy. My only regret is that we are too much chips to save room for pastries. Found this hidden gem on the way to Tulsa, thanks to yelp! I was not disappointed. We were seated right away and service was excellent. We tried a beef burrito, shrimp dish and tripe taco. All the meat was seasoned so well and very tasty. Each dish came with rice, beans, sour cream and guacamole. With the purchase of a dish we each received a small bowl of yummy queso. The salsa and extra sauces they brought with the meal were soooo good. Will be stopping by on our next road trip. read more

Great authentic place. Food excellent. Portions vast. Hint: if you order the Carne Guisado, and they offer you the "spicy" version, decline unless you eat raw Ghost Peppers whole as a snack. Bland Mexican food. Coming from an area of the country that had lots of Mexican joints, this place ranks fairly low. On the plus side, their salsa is really good and they have Horchata, which always goes great with a variety of Mexican dishes. On the downside, I ordered enchiladas and the only option was to have either chili or cheese on top, no typical enchilada sauce or green enchilada sauce. I tried the chili and it tasted like it came out of a can, no homemade which would have at least added something to the flavor. The chicken in the enchiladas was just shredded chicken and lacked any flavor whatsoever. One of my daughters had the taco salad, just a pile of lettuce, a sprinkle of cheese and some chicken, no rice or beans at the bottom of her bowl. All in all, with 4 of us at the table, no one finished their plates. While co-workers had suggested this was one of the better places in town, I'm not coming back. read more
