We visited Opera House on 3/14/26. Good location, large, nice place. We didn't stay so I can't speak to the ambience much but it came off as quiet and nice. Staff was great. The food menu is pretty large, the coffee menu is a bit smaller. You can buy merchandise and some other fun items. I got an iced vanilla bean latte and my husband got a hot mint vanilla latte. This place is so cute. I was in town for work and had an hour to kill so I came here to get some work done. The cold brew was delicious and the staff was great. The lemon blueberry muffins are absolutely awesome! They have a good selection of coffee and are fairly quick to prepare. It's a nice building with ample seating. Sure wish they had a drive-thru. Overall good coffee here. I was disappointed with a few things. The selection is a bit limited. They don't offer caramel flavoring or have Splenda and I drink mostly caramel lattes so that's a downside for me. Anyway, probably be back for more muffins. read more

Best coffee spot in Durant, and the vibe is Etsy meets Pinterest meets estate sale. It's full of natural light, and a good place to do work unless you're a local (You're going to see somebody you know if you're a local, and that's just how it is). Additionally, and this has no bearing on the quality of coffee, but some of the employees can do latte art. It's very impressive to my monkey brain. It's more than I deserve, and I appreciate them. I will warn you that the building can get really noisy when it's busy, and for whatever reason, it's a hot spot for baby showers? To make a long story short, the place echoes so behave yourself. Great place to start the day! The atmosphere from the moment you walk in is very eclectic. I ordered a lavender latte and a jalapeño cheddar scone. I had a seat at the couches before going the a chair at the front of the shop - both places were very comfortable. The lavender latte tasted delicious & the scone was excellent. You could definitely social distance easily there as well. I will definitely be going back next time I am in Durant. read more

Good flavor, smooth roast, not overly fruity, like some places. We roast our own beans, so we are very picky. Not too difficult to get to, off of 75 south. They had a good-looking selection of pastries, and hand-crafted sodas, with home-made syrups. We couldn't try everything- maybe on the next trip we can try something else. read more

Wow it's about time locally we get some good coffee in our surroundings! Real coffee beans real techniques such as drip coffee cold etc... The pastries are amazing and made in house.. definitely a place you could go and relax drink a cuppa coffee have pastry do your homework.... they also have a full menu. This is not just a great coffee house for Durant OK, but a legitimately good coffee shop for any city, and this is after just having moved here for the SF Bay Area. The drip and pour over's are strong without being overly acidic. Not sure of the types of beans, they don't seem to have focused on specific varietals yet. The espresso drinks are also well done, with each shot having just the right amount of crema. There are some baked goods, many of which they bake on site. For my taste, they could probably expand the range of options, but the pumpkin bread is fantastic. I understand they also have lunch, but have only been in there early mornings so far. The interior is a huge space with lots of room for seating, but feels inviting and warm at the same time. There are a couple tables and chairs on the sidewalk if the weather is nice and as a bonus, there is local art work on the walls. read more

Excellent coffee shop! Visiting a relative and made an excuse to go two days in a row. We found this warm and inviting cafe shop after walking around downtown Durant after lunch. I had a latte and a hot chocolate for the little one. The second day another we ordered a latte, cortado and Mexican coke. I got there around 9:50 I ordered one single decaf coffee. I sit there and waited as people get called up and I seen the people that they call in front of me so I was like I'm next the person behind gets called she had 3 different drinks so I was like maybe I'm next. I have been into this place a couple times before (probably many) and I enjoy this place. It has a nice atmosphere and the employees wear cute outfits. Informant. Unfortunately, this last time I went, it took twenty minutes for one drink and the barista didn't seem attentive. He kept taking his attention elsewhere and didn't act like he cared about customers.
