Dropped in for their lunch specials after spending everything from the casino. Such a cute and small town! Immediately was able to sit down and get greeted at a table. Decor was minimal but prices for lunch was great. You pay for the portion you get! Wasn't too big. They load you up on the bread though with a bowl of butter at the table. We have loved Roma's for years but did our first holiday party order this year. Everything was wonderful and as I was serving I got to hear all the comments as folks came back for seconds. Tried it again tonight. Ordered Roma's salad and Spent 12.00 on half a head of iceberg lettuce a few tomatoes and black olives and mozzarella. Fresh but needs more ingredients and dressing options . Cons: I'm not one for the house dressing. The salad was drenched with too much dressing to begin with. The Pino Grigio is meh. Pros: Amazing sauce. The Roma Special is an excellent dish. It's really hard to find anything wrong with Roma's. Let's just say I have eaten my way through the entire menu. I loved this place from the start. I only gave it 4 stars because I personally have eaten in Five Star Italian restaurants all over this country. In Durant I give it Five Stars. I will say the service is very very good. He saw us sitting in a booth for 20 minutes without water or ordering. Came over and asked if our order had been taken and immediately went looking for our server Another ten minutes pass and no server. Without a word Mario went to hunt her down again and this time about 5 minutes later she came to the table to get our order. One of the best Italian Restaurants in Durant, but I feel the complimentary bread could be better. It honestly tastes as if it was store bought. Not too much to get excited about. As for the Entreè, it was something new I have not had the chance to get before, Veal Parmigiana, and it was a lot. Lots of spaghetti compared to the actual meat. Seemed very unbalanced and if I wanted spaghetti in that kind of serving, ordering spaghetti is what I would do instead. Other than the food, the server was nice unlike the hostess who I thought should have ended with a comment (enjoy your evening) rather than setting our menus and silverware on the table and not saying anything past that. On my trip to Choctaw. I wanted Italian so I did a search and this place came up. I loved how the presentation of food was displayed through photos so I wanted to go. We were going to order it through DoorDash but I couldn't customize the order the way I'd like it so we drove to the restaurant. It was a cute spacious restaurant. We ordered our food and got drinks while we waited. It didn't take like and the food was done. We went back to the room to eat and the food was good. I didn't like the sauce on the stuffed mushrooms ( just not a sauce person) but my friend loved it. She was a little upset her order was messed up but when she tried the food she loved it. Apparently this is a chain restaurant but I've never come across another one. We were in and out promptly and we had amazing service. Everything came out fast, we were sat immediately, and they had great food. First off, yes, you can dine in and don't have to wear a mask. Our waitress was extremely attentive and helpful. The food is delicious. I had the Chefs Favorite with shrimp and chicken. The chicken is perfect, no sketchy pieces and I had a white wine sauce which was delicious. It had capers and some spicy tomatoes so it had a small kick around 1/5 definitely would recommend to order. My husband had the Chicken Pomadora (spelling might be incorrect) and he added red pepper flakes for spice. The sauce it came with was of a lighter consistency but very flavorful. His came with chicken as well, also extremely good quality meat. Our Caesar salads were delicious, their Caesar sauce is sweeter than normal but very tasty, with quality leaves. Their tools are also huge, fluffy, and really good with butter and come before you order anything. Overall we had a great experience, love our food and waitress. Called ahead about 2 hours w reservations for 16 on a Saturday night and they were very helpful and didn't complain that it wasn't a big notice prior. Table was ready when we arrived. Good place. Food was great! Came out hot and the flavor was delicious. Bread was warm and fluffy. Our group had a variety of foods from pizza, spaghetti, chicken Parmesan, subs, salads, chicken Alfredo etc etc. Restrooms were clean, restaurant was clean. Staff was friendly and patient w all of the kiddos we had. Everything tasted great, we all ate it up and pizza people had left overs. Only complaint, it was a little too warm inside.
