Vin is a true professional that enjoys his work and it genuinely shows. I started a new job a couple years ago and my role required a new company headshot. My company also required that I wear a pin with the company logo on my jacket and on a specific side. I totally forgot and wore the pin on the wrong side... (my fault). I didn't think I would enjoy doing family pictures as much as I did. I was nervous as I have two little boys- two and a half year old and a 7 month old baby. I felt like I would have to have everything planned out before hand, clothes, props, location, timing etc.... Till I stumbled for Vin's pictures and Facebook page. I called him and got an appointment set up right away as I was trying to get the pictures taken before my boys grew their hair. My husband and both my boys recently had haircuts and they all look so similar so we were trying to capture this look in our family pictures and Vin made that possible. He got us on the calendar and walked us through his process. Even on the day of the shoot, Vin made it to the location before us and had everything ready for us to go in and have a good time. It felt like we were just hanging out in the park with the kids and didn't feel like we were being photographed. The boys warmed up to Vin pretty easily and that was a sigh of relief for me and my husband as we didn't have to worry about them anymore. We've received our prints and absolutely love them and can't believe how great they've turned out. Vin is a sweetheart! Late Saturday evening, I posted a Craigslist ad for a photographer to take pictures of our family the next morning. He responded promptly and professionally with a reasonable quote, so we went with him. The next morning at 7:00 AM, Vin showed up, tolerated our arrival on Indian Standard Time (i.e., late as usual), and took all sorts of photos with all 10 of us adults (1 in a wheelchair), 1 baby, and 2 dogs. We expected to get them back in a couple weeks but awoke the next morning to have the finished photos in our email!! And he even photo-shopped out the oil rigs in the background. Insane. This kid is going places--he is sweet, professional, and a hard worker--and the pictures he took of our whole family, including my 90-year old grandpa and 81-year old grandma, will be treasured by our entire family for years to come. What can I say about my experience with Vin beside it being absolutely phenomenal!! I have never taken professional pictures before, and man where my fiancé and I nervous! Right off the get go vin had a game plan in his head of how the photo shoot was going to go. His style, professionalism, and courtesy took us by surprise!
