Melody IS THE BEST!!! Melody and her assistant took the photos for our wedding and we could not be happier with them! She was a joy to work with from the beginning contact emails and phone calls to the wedding night itself. Her assistant was great too! Melody was ON POINT with emails. She always got back to me surprisingly quickly which I REALLY appreciated as there is so much to organize with weddings, the last thing you want is a vendor who doesn't get back to you! For our wedding, we had more in mind. I sent her photos from the same venue that I liked and she helped me recreate a lot of them on the day of the wedding. Best of all, literally only like a few days before the wedding, I found these amazing photos with sparklers and sent them to Melody. On her own time, she practiced the different photos and figured out all of the logistics. While I was partying away she was setting up the photos and brought my husband and I out for them. I have been trying to write this review over 6 months. Me and my husband got married couple years ago. For our wedding of course we hired a wedding photographer. After everything was over, we looked at our wedding album and all pictures, unfortunately they looked horrible. My eyes were closed almost every picture in wedding album. We were so upset, I could not show anyone our wedding album and I had no photo to display at home. Finally I decided to re-take the wedding pictures. After all my researches online, I found Melody. Thank God I found her. She is just AMAZING! I looked at her website and yelp pictures and loved them. I sent her a message and she returned right away with all details. I asked all my questions and she answered them patiently. So we went to Laguna Beach for photography session. Obviously, me and my husband had no idea about how to pose :) I showed her some poses I found online. She looked all of them patiently and took pictures of every pose that I showed. Plus she showed us lots of poses like put your arm there, look this way etc. I was little late to my photo session because my hair and make-up took too long :( After sunset, it got almost dark and she was still trying to take pictures and asking me that did she forget anything? Can't believe I got so lucky using the Internet to find a photographer for my daughter's senior pictures. Melody was just the person I needed in that I didn't know where to begin. All I knew was my daughter wanted to do her pictures outside. Met with Melody and my daughter suggested one spot and Melody told us about some restrictions we might run into there so she suggested another spot. Seal Beach pier was just the perfect place. My daughter and I have spent many sunny days at this spot so it was like being right at home. But to take pictures in December at the beach could have been a real challenge. Melody had the ability to make my daughter feel so at ease it was just wonderful to watch the two of them and realize what great pictures we were going to get. She managed to get us the proofs in just a few days and had no problem waiting for me to get input from all of my family with regards to which was the best. Needless to say, that took forever. After I placed my order, I was shocked at how fast I got them and just how wonderful they were. My daughter's grandmother was in awe when she received hers in the mail.
