I've been coming here for Gel X and pedicures, but my last visit was unacceptable. Lisa was rude and kept pressuring me to upgrade. I agreed, thinking I would receive better service, but my feet were still rough and full of callus when I got home. I had my pedicure Saturday. I returned on Monday to have it fixed, and she was still rude and dismissive. I paid more and received worse service. Very disappointing. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I came in for a pedicure and manicure and left completely disappointed. First, the pedicure--I asked for a French tip and they couldn't get it right, so I settled for plain white nails. Even that was poorly done. The polish is uneven, with thin spots and no clean, thick coat. Super sloppy. Then for my manicure, I originally asked for short almond French tips and they said it would be $95 (??) for something so minimal. I changed to short square French tips and honestly--they can't do French tips at all. The lady who helped me (light brown bob haircut) did a terrible job. The shape was off, the lines were fat and choppy, and looked nothing like the photo I showed her. I like thin, clean, elegant French tips--not this messy, rushed work. I had to ask her multiple times to fix things and she just seemed annoyed and in a hurry to get me out the door. I even have white streaks on the nail bed where it's supposed to be clear... like what?? It looks horrible. I gave up halfway through because I was so tired of correcting her and just wanted to leave. You think you're treating yourself by going to a salon, but this place will put you in a worse mood than when you walked in. Loud, chaotic, unprofessional, and honestly just not worth a penny. When you come for an initial or regular visit they are so friendly but when it comes to fixing a problem they would throw you off and make you wait forever just to repair two nails! They would also talk in their language without them even noticing that the customer could understand what they are saying! Told Kelly that the nail already have ship and she said she put powder on it already which did not solve the issue and now I had to come back just for the damage to be repaired and they totally gave me a hard time just to have them re do it! read more

I went to remove gel nails that I had gotten done in Korea. When I arrived, the wait wasn't terrible, but they said to each other that I should be lower priority than a guest who came to get their nails done (I only wanted to remove my set), so I waited longer even though I got there first. Unfortunately, while removing my nails they made my nailbed bleed But the lady who worked with me tried to be nice about it. However, it was only $12 to remove so I guess that was a pro. read more

Just moved to Irvine from Orange and didn't want to have to drive far to my old salon, so I decided to give Vina's a try seeing that they are right across the street from home. I'm so glad I did! Came in on a Sunday afternoon, got right in and had a fabulous pedicure with Kelly. She was super nice, not pushy with recommendations on services, brought me a cold water bottle, and even recommended the prettiest shade of pink that is popular. She said if I don't like it, I could pick another color. Loved it! She was gentle on my cuticles, thorough on my calluses, and gave an excellent and relaxing massage. I've been coming here for over a year and generally have a really good experience with the work that's done on my nails and customer service. Locating in the shopping center next to the boba spot, you'll usually see the long boba line crossing the door of the nail salon. The facility has a somewhat upscale, feminine feel. I like the paintings and other decor. The spa chairs are nice as well. Vina the owner does a great job and is very friendly. I usually use whoever is available, and for most part everyone does a fairly good job. I typically go with the gel mani pedi. Of course Fridays and Saturday's are busy, try going during the weekdays for less of a crowd. Call for an appointment. Tip: $1 charge for credit card use. Kind of annoying. read more

Fantastic place! My nails look really pretty and elegant. They have so many colors to choose from and plenty of services too. The staff is friendly and attentive. Zero stars. I've been coming here for a couple years, mainly because it is right across the street from my house - despite leaving unhappy here more times than not. After the experience I just had - I will never come back. There is always a wait, even with an appointment. I have used Google translate while getting my nails done and workers are very rude and say terrible things about every single person in there. I had made an appointment 2 hours before I had to be leaving for an important dinner. I arrived, and of course they couldn't take me at my scheduled appointment time. After waiting almost an HOUR, I started getting my things together to leave. A lady told me to go sit in a chair and they will be right with me. I told her I need to leave soon and I will just come back, and she said 2 people will be working on me at the same time and to stay. I go sit down and after 10 minutes of additional waiting, I started gathering my things again to leave and she then rushes over to start my nails. My nails turned out good. Tracy did my pedicure. I was skeptical when she came to me because my cousin had seen her before and she actually had cut her pretty bad. I always get a deluxe pedicure here, therefore am aware what it comes with and how much it cost. She was very rough as expected, and for my massage, she rubbed lotion into my legs for less than a minute and then told me I was done. She never asked what kind of pedicure I want - just gave me a standard - which was fine at this point because I just wanted to get out of there since I had been there for 2 and a half hours now. When she told me how much, it was the same exact price it always is when I get the DELUXE pedicure. I asked her again how much my pedicure was and she said $38... which is how much a deluxe pedicure is, plus an additional $15 for gel. $53 for pretty much a color change was the service that she gave me. After going back and forth with her on this, explaining that she did NOT give me a deluxe pedicure, she told me they are busy and she didn't have time to give me a deluxe pedicure - even though they were open for another 3 hours AND I had already missed my dinner. So you don't have time but are still going to charge me for it? Despite of me being seen over an hour after my appointment? MAKE IT MAKE SENSE! This place is terribly ran. The drive somewhere else will absolutely be worth it. If you have to come here - make sure you have nothing to do after and avoid Tracy at all costs. read more

Called in ahead to confirm the pricing and was told $30. I came in and got a color change on a gel x set I already had on, I had cat eye and wanted to change to a simple French. The lady doing my nails immediately started making up stupid charges, for example: she charged me an extra $10 to do a "deep French" because it's "more work" AS WELL as another $10 to literally "do" a French tip? So basically, this lady charged me an extra $20 on my bill for a simple French! Not to mention, all the white on the edges of my nails that she couldn't be bothered to clean up. It was like every single thing was extra, I asked her to literally EXTEND the French tip down to my nail bed and she tried to say that's an extra $10! For a simple connecting line!
