    Baked goods and main counter

My coffee was fantastic! I ordered a half sweet vanilla latte. I would definitely order that on future visits. It was smooth and not the least bit bitter. They have a lot of breads and baked goods. One of our pastries was labeled as blueberry but it actually contained raisins and blueberries so that was kind of off putting. The food and coffee are reasonably priced. I would come back.

Just like Mozart Bakery chain, this Korean bakery/bakeries (several locations) is inspired by artist, Vincent Van Gogh...and you'll see his pic and other inspired artworks throughout the cafe. I've been to this Pleasant Hill location just once before, and I've always thought the place itself is very charming...a great, serene ambiance. However, there are so many bakeries in Duluth (and surrounding areas) with HUGE, extensive selections...and sadly, this bakery cafe selection pales in comparison. If only this place made its way to someplace like Charlotte, where there wouldn't be much competition for light pastries. Still, I stopped in to pick up 3 pastry items to go. Just like all the bakeries, these pastries are made fresh daily, and individually wrapped (Covid-friendly!), and thoroughly delicious. PS*** I'm revising the review up to 4 stars...because by now I've tried all 3 pastries, and they were AMAZING!!

Vincent bakery cafe located in the Duluth village complex was such a nice place to stop and get a sweet treat while waiting for car to charge. We were greeted immediately and the ladies working were very nice! They have a range of selection of pastries I got the strawberry custard bun it was yummy and sweet. It's such a cute place I recommend everyone to try it

We didn't realize they were closed already but they still allowed us to come in. They were very sweet and even answered some questions about the bread we were looking for. The matcha I highly recommend. 10/10!

I figured it would be just like any of the hundred coffee houses in the surrounding area and for the most part it is. Selection is not as large and not the many bakery options but all the things we tried were very good. Its is quiet, clean and has the perfect environment for study sessions. I will say that this coffee/tea shop feels a but pricier than others around but I loved their green tea latte and pecan cookies.

One of the best Korean bakeries!! Most korean bakeries are so similar that at some point, they all just blend in with each other but I think this place truly does stand out from the rest. Their red bean bbang was softer than other places and their custard bbang was exceptional! Their custard was really really good. Like I said, better than everywhere else. Dare I say, it was my favorite custard bbang! To top it all off, they are much nicer and more welcoming than other places. 100% recommend!

Quiet location to focus on work or studying. I've been here a couple times and the crowd at this cafe seems to be older & more traditional ~ I always feel like an unwelcome unicorn when I come here with the stares. This past time I came here, it was barely occupied so it was better. Things you should know: I. LOCATION The left end unit within a plaza. Free private parking is available out front. II. SERVICE The woman working during my first visit must have recognized me as new and right away advised me to get the "most popular" pastry in the store. It was a standard cream bun..which no one had bought any ~ it was fully stocked. I got it anyway. I do like the sale section they have here. The first two visits I've made didn't have it, but it's a nice new detail. III. QUALITY The cream bun was relatively dry. I've gotten other pastries here since then but haven't seemed to find consistency in quality. IV. CAPACITY We went on a Saturday mid-morning. There was one elderly gentleman inside but all the other seats were available.

Inside Vincent Bakery's strawberry cream buns. So good. $4.99. Six are attached together.

Recently, my wife has really taken a liking to Vincent Bakery Cafe in Duluth. An oldie, but a goodie, Vincent Bakery is a Korean bakery and cafe that has been around for over a decade now; it opened in 2010. The business has held strong as the competition has opened and closed around them. Why has Vincent Bakery been so successful? Their pastries are really good. I think Vincent's pastries are currently among the best when it comes to Asian bakeries in metro Atlanta. This place simply flies under the radar. It's underrated. There's another location in Johns Creek: https://bit.ly/32cqsOh (also opened in 2010). You can find this location in Pleasant Hill Station, in the same strip as E. M. Bop, What the Pho, and Cafe Todamgol, near the Duluth H Mart. If you're a regular on Pleasant Hill Rd, then you've probably passed Vincent Bakery countless times. The store is nice, clean, and well-kept. Generally, it's cut in the same mold as some of the other older Korean bakeries and cafes in Atlanta; for example, Hansel & Gretel, Mozart, and White Windmill. It's not as trendy or polished as say, Paris Baguette or Tree Story. Unlike the latter two chains, during our visits to this Vincent location, the staff and clientele have been 100% middle-aged Korean folks. The staff were older Korean ladies. They've been welcoming, attentive, and friendly. Great service. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, if you choose to dine-in, the staff will take your temperature. I saw the cashier check one man's temperature. She used an infrared temperature gun and aimed it at the outside of the customer's wrist. Something I like about Vincent Bakery that not many Asian bakeries and cafes have is this location has a small, umbrella-covered patio. Patio seating is more in-demand these days thanks to the virus and Vincent has a serviceable one. Like other Asian bakeries and cafes, Vincent has a self-serve selection of on-site or locally-made, individually-wrapped, pastries plus a beautiful glass case filled with eye-appealing cakes, macarons, and other treats. Examples of grab-and-go items include: * Snowpea Paste Soft Cookies - $6.90 * Chestnut Paste Soft Cookies - $5.99 * Sweet Potato Pie - $5.90 * Mocha Cake Pie - $4.99 * Blueberry Cream Bread - $4.99 * Mocha Cream Bread - $4.99 * Strawberry Jam & Butter Cream Bread - $6.50 * Yogurt Cream Bread - $6.50 * Red Bean Paste Bread - $2.19 * Snowpea Paste Bread - $2.19 * Biscuit Crumble Bread - $2.19 * Coffee Cream Bread - $2.19 * Butter Cream Bread - $2.19 Examples of whole round cakes include strawberry, blueberry, and matcha fresh cream cakes ($30-32 each) and handmade roll cakes ($20 each) in vanilla, mocha, chocolate, blueberry, and green tea flavors. The latter are swirled with cream and colorful. On the beverage and dessert side, Vincent has a fairly extensive coffee menu plus tea, smoothies, and Korean desserts like bungeo-ppang (fish-shaped pastries stuffed with red bean paste, 12 pieces for $7.99) and patbingsu (red beans shaved ice $10.99-12.99 per serving). Most coffee and tea drinks can be prepared hot or cold and they're priced around $3-5 per drink. Some of our favorites here have been the Custard Cream Bread ($2.19), Red Bean Paste Bread ($2.19), and Strawberry Cream Bread ($4.99) as well as their Mochi with Red Bean Paste ($4.20). Everything has been excellent. The bread in the pastries has always been really fresh and they always smell fantastic. On the Custard Cream Bread, the bread is super soft and spongy, buttery as well. The custard is smooth and delectable. There's also plenty of it. The same can be said for the red bean paste in the Red Bean Paste Bread. One thing we really appreciate about Vincent is the consistently generous portions. As for the Strawberry Cream Bread, there are six pieces, served connected together, per bag. The outside of the bread has chocolate chips, almond slivers, sugar, and a baked-in cream drizzle. The inside has a wonderfully delicious, light and fluffy, strawberry cream. My wife particularly likes the cream because we could see it was made with real strawberries. The Strawberry Cream Bread is a lot more crumbly than the stretchy, yeasty Custard Cream Bread. I recommend both, especially the latter. Something you have to try is the Mochi with Red Bean Paste. It's outstanding. Eat it fresh. They get the texture of the mochi just right. It's super soft, supple, and gratifyingly chewy. Like the aforementioned pastries, the inside of the mochi is just packed with generous portions of delectable red bean paste. Inside, the atmosphere was quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. I like the little attentions to detail, such as the plants and artwork on the wall. I also like the branding on the windows and packaging. The place is simple and well put together; not overdone nor gaudy. It looks like an ideal spot to meet up and hang out with friends and family and/or pull out your laptop to get some work/studying done. The Wi-Fi password is This1is4u.

Fresh baked deliciousness! Stumbled upon this gem- Fresh baked Korean pastries. Tried a few items with the kids and we were NOT disappointed! If you're in the area, I highly recommend!

I like the interior of the cafe as it reminds me a bit of Stylenanda in Korea (pink!). I can't speak on the drinks, only the pastries and cakes, and yeah, they're good! Probably shouldn't leave any pastries with fruit longer than a few hours since it'll get soggy though. We had a few birthdays to celebrate, and Confections was the go-to choice to for a lot of people this year. Not too sweet cream with fruit and fluffy cake, it was perfect for many in our group. The only cake I would not recommend that I've tried would be the Dubai chocolate cake. Not only is it more expensive, it's smaller than the other offered cakes. As a cake, it doesn't quite match up to Dubai chocolate strawberry cups that you can get elsewhere. The kunafa loses its crispiness being sandwiched between cake, and there isn't much pistachio flavor. I would've expected pistachio cream, but there really wasn't any on this cake. There are more strawberries on the strawberry cream cake, which fair, makes sense, but the Dubai cake wasn't as amazing as it sounded. Just tall. Good thing we had another cake from Confections that day since it was a joint birthday.

We walked into a small, straightforward space where what stood out immediately was the variety of pastries and baked goods lined up throughout the counter. The setup felt more like a grab-and-go spot, but there were enough interesting items that it made sense to slow down and actually look through what they offered. The main draw here is the bread selection. We spotted items like milk bread, pineapple buns, mochi-based pastries, and savory breads such as pork floss buns, all of which felt freshly made and rotated quickly depending on the day. The milk bread in particular stood out for its soft texture and rich flavor, while the sweeter items leaned more subtle rather than overly sugary. It was the kind of place where we ended up picking a few different things because it was hard to settle on just one. There were also a few refrigerated and specialty items like tarts and filled pastries, which added a bit more variety beyond the standard bakery selection. Some items felt more premium than others, and pricing varied depending on what we picked, but the overall focus was clearly on soft breads and Asian-style baked goods rather than desserts or café-style sweets. The atmosphere was simple and functional since it was inside a supermarket food court area. It was not really designed for sitting and lingering, but the space was clean and organized enough to quickly browse and make a selection. Service was straightforward, and in some cases we were able to sample items before buying, which helped when deciding between different breads. Overall, Shokku Bakery is a solid stop if you are already in the area and want fresh Japanese-style baked goods. It is not a destination bakery in terms of ambiance, but the quality of the breads and variety of options make it worth visiting for a quick pick-up, especially if you enjoy soft milk bread and classic Asian bakery items.
