I have to update my review for Vincent Bakery Cafe- Duluth. Not sure if they changed owners but a ervice was great! They were very friendly and helpful. We were immediately greeted when we arrived at the ordering station. We ordered some desserts and drinks. I really enjoyed my drink and the dessert. I'll start off with what I got: a mango ade and house coffee. The mango ade was a carbonated drink with mango syrup and some mango pieces and it was good. The coffee was made from an espresso machine, and was good quality. We didn't get any great, but there was a variety to choose from. We paid in cash, and the cashier was really busy making both drinks. There was a line behind me, and caused a short wait, most likely due to only having one person making drinks and working as cashier. There's also a lot of seating, so a perfect spot to just hang out or study. Honestly, it's like any other Korean bakery, so no complaints. read more

Just like Mozart Bakery chain, this Korean bakery/bakeries (several locations) is inspired by artist, Vincent Van Gogh...and you'll see his pic and other inspired artworks throughout the cafe. I've been to this Pleasant Hill location just once before, and I've always thought the place itself is very charming...a great, serene ambiance. One of the best Korean bakeries!! Most korean bakeries are so similar that at some point, they all just blend in with each other but I think this place truly does stand out from the rest. Their red bean bbang was softer than other places and their custard bbang was exceptional! Their custard was really really good. Like I said, better than everywhere else. Quiet location to focus on work or studying. I've been here a couple times and the crowd at this cafe seems to be older & more traditional ~ I always feel like an unwelcome unicorn when I come here with the stares. Recently, my wife has really taken a liking to Vincent Bakery Cafe in Duluth. An oldie, but a goodie, Vincent Bakery is a Korean bakery and cafe that has been around for over a decade now; it opened in 2010. The business has held strong as the competition has opened and closed around them. Why has Vincent Bakery been so successful? Their pastries are really good. I think Vincent's pastries are currently among the best when it comes to Asian bakeries in metro Atlanta. This place simply flies under the radar. It's underrated. There's another location in Johns Creek: https://bit.ly/32cqsOh (also opened in 2010). You can find this location in Pleasant Hill Station, in the same strip as E. M. Bop, What the Pho, and Cafe Todamgol, near the Duluth H Mart. If you're a regular on Pleasant Hill Rd, then you've probably passed Vincent Bakery countless times. The store is nice, clean, and well-kept. Generally, it's cut in the same mold as some of the other older Korean bakeries and cafes in Atlanta; for example, Hansel & Gretel, Mozart, and White Windmill. It's not as trendy or polished as say, Paris Baguette or Tree Story. Unlike the latter two chains, during our visits to this Vincent location, the staff and clientele have been 100% middle-aged Korean folks. The staff were older Korean ladies. They've been welcoming, attentive, and friendly. Great service. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, if you choose to dine-in, the staff will take your temperature. I saw the cashier check one man's temperature. She used an infrared temperature gun and aimed it at the outside of the customer's wrist. Something I like about Vincent Bakery that not many Asian bakeries and cafes have is this location has a small, umbrella-covered patio. Patio seating is more in-demand these days thanks to the virus and Vincent has a serviceable one. Like other Asian bakeries and cafes, Vincent has a self-serve selection of on-site or locally-made, individually-wrapped, pastries plus a beautiful glass case filled with eye-appealing cakes, macarons, and other treats. Some of our favorites here have been the Custard Cream Bread ($2.19), Red Bean Paste Bread ($2.19), and Strawberry Cream Bread ($4.99) as well as their Mochi with Red Bean Paste ($4.20). Everything has been excellent. The bread in the pastries has always been really fresh and they always smell fantastic. On the Custard Cream Bread, the bread is super soft and spongy, buttery as well. The custard is smooth and delectable. There's also plenty of it. The same can be said for the red bean paste in the Red Bean Paste Bread. One thing we really appreciate about Vincent is the consistently generous portions. As for the Strawberry Cream Bread, there are six pieces, served connected together, per bag. The outside of the bread has chocolate chips, almond slivers, sugar, and a baked-in cream drizzle. The inside has a wonderfully delicious, light and fluffy, strawberry cream. My wife particularly likes the cream because we could see it was made with real strawberries. The Strawberry Cream Bread is a lot more crumbly than the stretchy, yeasty Custard Cream Bread. I recommend both, especially the latter. Something you have to try is the Mochi with Red Bean Paste. It's outstanding. Eat it fresh. They get the texture of the mochi just right. It's super soft, supple, and gratifyingly chewy. Like the aforementioned pastries, the inside of the mochi is just packed with generous portions of delectable red bean paste. Inside, the atmosphere was quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. I like the little attentions to detail, such as the plants and artwork on the wall. I also like the branding on the windows and packaging. The place is simple and well put together; not overdone nor gaudy. I get my hair cut a few times a year at the Hair Time next door and always look forward to stopping by Vincent. This is one of my favorite bakeries, and I am really happy I discovered them. The coffee drinks are all very yummy, and they will make it to your taste. Sometimes I go to Asian bakeries and you can't get just black coffee, but here they have many options. My favorite thing about Vincent is their turkey sausage pizza. It is one of my favorite treats, and I think they do it the best! The hours posted for this establishment is incorrect. More than once I've come here to find it closed early. The man with the glasses is incredibly impatient and rude. Especially if you aren't Asian. Perhaps you should hire someone else if you hate working there. More than once I've dealt with this man being rude. When I brought up the hours to this bakery was incorrect he laughed and talked down to me as if I just said something so silly. The restaurant is cold and empty, no one comes here I can see why. Stumbled upon this bakery by chance and I am glad I did. Bakery has ample parking and seating space. There was just one table occupied so felt safe while entering and dining inside the place. I saw the girl in the store, wiping the table as soon as the customer left. The place was clean, interior were simple but modern. This is a Korean bakery and then the place had a decent collection of cakes and bread. We tried their strawberry cake and vegetable croquettes. The croquettes was a bit oily but flavorful but the cake was amazing. The sponge was soft, moist. Cream was not over sweet, fresh. It was the best that I have had in a long time. ~$6 for a cappuccino and a bakery. I come here because my wife is a few doors down getting a haircut and I'm not driving back to pick her up. I'm not here because I particularly enjoy the food or drinks here. I like how they have a real espresso machine and not just boba tea for their drinks. The price at $3.80 is kinda high for a cappuccino but this place gives me a place to write Yelp reviews while my wife is doing her thing. The service was fine. I've had a few baked items here before and none of it was particularly memorable. The bathroom is very large but is single occupancy. Their toilet paper is lighter than the single ply bs that's even worse than the ones I have at my work. Having a $5 minimum for using a credit card is kind of annoying. Most of the time, I just want a small drink without any toppings. I was tempted to not buy anything and just sit in the corner but I made eye contact with the lady. Would I come here again? Probably. Wanted a change of scenery from the typical Chinese bakery on Pleasant Hill (aka Sweet Hut) so did a quick search to find a Korean coffee shop around the area before lunch. I ordered a regular hot coffee for my dad and I got a green tea latte to share with my mom. There was a $5 minimum charge on credit cards, and I literally never have cash. So good thing my $3.90 latte and $1.95 coffee added up. A little pricey, but it's reasonable for a Korean bakery. I didn't try any of the breads and pastries since we had lunch plans in 30 minutes, but we sipped on our drinks while we chatted and waited for lunch. My dad's coffee was a little watered down, but he ended up drinking most of it. My green tea latte was super sweet, but was still a tasty treat. Overall, this bakery was just average. The atmosphere is pretty chill with a range of ages (college students, middle age, to elderly folks and their family members). This place isn't too crowded with people either like most Starbucks. There's a good flow of customers coming in and out with a decent amount in the store relaxing. Prices are competitive with other bakeries. The variety and selection is as much as White Windmill. This location is conveniently close to the restaurants in area. They open until 11 PM and have wifi. So, I give them 4 stars. read more

Was looking for Tea one morning and Vincent Bakery Cafe was open around 8 am so sure, I stopped in. The store, and the lot were empty, minus the person working the register, and their car. I decided to get their green tea ($2.10), which came with a little bit of caffeine, and for a snack, I got one mocha macaroon ($1.99) and a pack of 5 of cream cheese muffins ($3.50) Starting with the good: The green tea was pretty good. Not so bitterly strong like other green teas i've had, but the tea was from the popular "stash" brand that I see at most shops, so it wasn't proprietary to Vincent. The Okay: The cream cheese muffins were decent! I was expecting them to be more savory than sweet, but they were definitely of the sweets variety. The cream cheese portion was more of a very light glaze, as in if you didn't see the title of cream cheese muffin, you never would know cream cheese was anywhere near them. Texture wise they were more cakey than anything, but they weren't dense, and you could pop them in your mouth one by one, so okay. The bad: This is a tricky one, because the Mocha macaroon had really good flavor. Strong mocha taste and it was just sweet enough. Here's the thing...the macaroon was hard as a rock. I bit down on it and there was definite push back. I've had "old" macaroons where they tasted a little stale but still gave way when you bit. This thing...I really don't know how long it was there. Could've been a bad one. I dunno. Vincent Bakery Cafe is in a little strip off of pleasant hill and it sits next to What the Pho, as well as a couple other restaurants/cafes. Parking isn't a problem, as I came back for lunch in the area, and noticed it was full, but still several spaces left. There is a red light exit, but you have to go around a median to get to it. Interior is spacious with a decent amount of tables, and customer service was nice/kind to me. I've been to another Vincent Bakery Cafe and they were significantly better, so I have to think that I caught this location on a bad day. When I eat at this bakery, I feel like a total chump. I mostly come here for the convenience to other shops in the same plaza. I should just stop doing that, because everything I eat is overpriced and has absolutely no flavor. A chocolate muffin that did not even taste like chocolate? It was a very dark brown color, was that just food coloring? Tiramisu that has no coffee taste at all, what in the hell did I just eat? A bubble tea that tasted like watered down coffee creamer? Cake that tastes like a sponge? Oh, that was sponge cake... Am I missing something? Don't get me wrong, the atmosphere is great here. A great place to sit and work or study for hours. But, if you get hungry, you might want to pack up and go somewhere else, or sneak some food in with you. My friends have also purchased goods from here and brought them back to me in Florida. I tend to visit this bakery on Saturday mornings. They offer free-wifi which is a bonus and they make the best tasting mocha bubble tea that I've tasted in town. Their cafe is spacious, clean and service is always consistent and up to par. They offer a variety of baked goods, teas, coffee drinks, and bottled drinks as well. I am definitely pleased with each and every visit to this cafe and am never disappointed. It's a great place to catch up with old friends, get work done on your laptop or just "chillax" with a tasty beverage in hand. The cute decorations and choice of cafe furniture is hard to miss. This place is still nice and quiet. However, it was pretty busy today. I decided to have the Korean plum tea(excellent) good and hot. This was an excellent choice. I decided to try out out several different pastries. The most interesting was the rice cake filled with red bean paste. The rice cake had a chewy texture to it. There were only two remaining in the basket (a clear indicator it was popular). The other was mocha flavored cream in a bun. It was very tasty as well. Wow! A few minutes later the place was nearly packed(still quiet). There were computers everywhere. This is still one of my favorite places to go and hang out at. Again, this is yet another bakery that just can't compare to the White Windmill on Peachtree industrial blvd. The furniture is like the white windmill on Buford hwy; i.e hard and uncomfortable for long periods of time. I do like it for its quietness during certain times, but it's still louder than P'tree Ind white windmill, and the customer service, while decent, isn't as good either. As others have said, sometimes their pastries and cakes are not fresh; I'm not sure why they have a hard time putting only the fresh ones out and maybe selling the less fresh ones as clearance like most other establishments. The decor is nice as always in an Asian bakery, and the music tends to be at a nice light volume. The prices are about 50 cents to a dollar higher than others, but there doesn't seem to be a good reason as to why, especially when it's not fresh. One thing that really sucks here is you need cash if you only want one item, because there's a 5 dollar minimum for using a card. However, the location is very convenient for people on Pleasant Hill, and it's right beside the absolutely delicious and famous "What The Pho?" Vietnamese pho place. Wow, this spot is the place to go if you want to study or have intimate chatter (that is, if you can find a table...). Pastries are around $1.50-5.00ish, drinks () are around $3.70-5. They carry Mighty Leaf teas- great choice. I can't speak for the coffee here. Free wifi, but outlets are only in the corner. PSA: don't be a douchebaguette and sit in the table meant for 6+ and then proceed to have a make out session, whilst giving dirty looks to anyone who wanders over trying to see if there's room. I couldn't believe this was happening, but it did for both booths when I went on a Sunday. Wut. One thing I'd like to address is that I saw a couple of reviews saying the pastries here are bland or whatever, but know that it's a cultural thing- generally, Asians don't really make traditional western confections and as a result don't like super sugary/sweet things. Many Asian bakery carry cakes and pastries that emulate the look of many western style desserts, but don't actually taste like it.
