The place was a little dirty, I saw used cotton balls all over the floor, he almost used a dirty instrument on my toes, luckily he opened a sterilized one. He did the shape of my toe nails the way he liked, didn't ask me the shape. One of the most relaxing things a woman can do is get a pedicure. I came here with a friend who frequents this place and upon walk in the aesthetics seem decent but they have the hospitality or should I say spa-side manner a door knob. Due to the fact that they are grossly understaffed there was only one gentleman available to do two pedicures as the other two employees were already servicing patrons. The gentleman who greeted us at the door and asked what we would like, who I assumed it was the manager not an employee, ran water in the chairs for the both of us. The water was extremely hot but I like it that way and figured by the time he finishes my friend I will have tempered my feet to the water. Everyone who gets a pedicure knows that if you're waiting to receive service, and the water is full, you run the Jets. I asked the gentleman that was servicing my friend If he could simply lean over and turn on my jet. Due to the language barrier hd simply nodded his head and said something in their native tongue to the manager that was sitting in front of the spa. As I was waiting for him to come over I was browsing the menu and decide on a $36 deluxe pedicure. After about five minutes the manager came back and I asked him to turn on the Jets while I wait. He stated to me that when the person sits down to service me they will turn on the Jets ...which I found very weird because every nail shop automatically turns on the Jets to massage your feet!!! That's the most basic part of the pedicure process. He looked at me unapologetically and repeated their policy. I took my feet out of the water and headed straight to the car. My family has been going to Vincent's for over 10 year's now. We have paid for jel manicures, jel pedicures, jel nails, jel powder full set's. I am the customer and what and howbi want my nails shouldn't be a problem unless it's something that Sam does not know how to do. I remember when Sam first started doing my nails,, he used me as a nail model to take pictures and show his work on my nails on his Instagram. For several year's Sam was the man, and I was loyal to his work and I always sent him business from my co-workers at Kaiser Permanente. When businesses started to reopen during the pandemic, that is when I started to notice a change in Sam's attitude. Sam would complain If I broke a nail, Sam would complain if my nails lifted, Sam would complain if i requested a new full set and Sam would complain if I asked him to fill my big toe. Sam now is very rude, Sam is not a peopleperson, Sam has no compassion for people, Sam is very disrespectful, Sam doesn't know how to communicate and Sam speaks to his customers like their dogs. Sams favorite lline is " what you want?" I remember when Sam"s full set's cost $45, now Sam's full set's cost $90. The money is not a problem for my family, the point I am making no matter how much hw cost, Sam does good work and my family would always go back. Excellent customer service goes a long way. Today is the last day that Sam will ever be rude to me, talk to me like a dog and have me walking out of Vincent's nails crying. I asked Sam for black and orange powdered nails. He said it didn't look right. Sam took the nail off and asked Diane to do my nails. Sam said he doesn't want to do my nails. I asked him to just do orange if the orange and black was too much for him. Sam said no I don't want to do you nails any more. Sam said your nails lift and your nails break. Sam said I don't want to do your nail anymore. I started to cry. I gave Long a hug and I thanked Long for everything and I told Long that I wish him the best. When I went to get my nails done 3 weeks ago, I told Sam that my mommy passed away and he had absolutely nothing to say. No sympathy, no remorse, no compassion. I am a customer. I've spent thousands of dollar's in Vincent's nail to be treated like cow manure. My 16 year old daughter, my 12 year old daughter, my husband, my 3 sons and my two cousins that my husband and I have adopted will NEVER spend another red cents in Vincent's nail again. You will see for yourself, "SAM !" at Vincent's nail has the worst attitude. I don't care how good SAM does nails. There is always someone better somewhere else with a better attitude, someone who cares and has feelings. God bless you and your family Sam. I came in with my sister, my daughter and myself to get mani's and pedi's. They took my sister right away while my daughter and I waited. Now, I'm a patient person and I totally understand if they are busy and everyone's working. But when TWO people walk in after me and they get seated and helped first I get upset. When I asked TWICE if they had an appt I was ignored. I decided to not get anything done here because we would be here twice as long since we were taken at different times.
