I requested full set stiletto shape, I had removed my old set as they were over a month old so yes my nails were weak when I went to get the new set. Shaping was ok , acrylic could have been applied more neatly .I didn't get the gentleman's name who put my set on but he was rough ,my skin on my cuticle area is cut from his nail drill and he said it hurts because my nail is weak but he wasn't filing the natural nail he kept nicking my skin with the nail drill. I asked for thin line French tip and glitter , the girl he had do my painting said they don't do that there , they only offer one type of French tip . I want to warn other women, especially pregnant women, about this terrible experience. My pregnant daughter went in for a simple gel polish removal and left with damaged nails, pain, and unnecessary stress. The technician soaked her nails in acetone for a long time, forcing her to breathe strong chemical fumes the entire time. Only after I complained did he cover her hands with a towel, but that did not fix the situation or remove the overwhelming acetone smell. This level of carelessness toward a pregnant client is unacceptable. After that, he aggressively filed down her natural nail plate, leaving her nails extremely thin and damaged. She is now experiencing severe burning, pain, and sensitivity. On top of that, he cut her nails poorly and gave them an awful, uneven shape. What made the situation even worse was his attitude. When I politely asked him to be more careful, he became rude and unprofessional instead of apologizing. I would never recommend this "professional" to anyone. Please protect your health, your nails, and your peace of mind by staying away from this place. DO NOT go here this isn't the place it used to be. Ethan & Tina were amazing but they left, now it's a barren wasteland with two rude condescending techs. I came in asking for a short acrylic set with a basic flower design. The male tech immediately told me the flowers will be similar not the same I said that's ok. He applied the tips and as he's cutting the first nail I tell him to go a slight bit longer. He gets an attitude and says it's an extra $10. Excuse me!?! The nail was not even 2mm longer than the previous size. Why would I pay extra for nails that aren't any longer than what he considers "short"? He started screaming at me LOUD saying I don't understand and it's not the same length as the photo. It was exactly the same thing. I told him to take off the tips as I felt uncomfortable with his demeanor and he started filing hard. I said if you hurt or cut me I will call the police and press charges. The lady that paints nails on the other hand needs to find herself some peace. Her vibe in addition to her attitude has finally pushed me completely away from returning to that salon. However today the staff seemed irritated at how I wanted my feet done and told me I was picky. (it's never been a problem before as I've been here several times). I'm paying for a service and I should have it done the way I want it, I'm very particular and it's never been a problem before. I've referred several people here and shouldn't be criticized and called picky by this man in the picture. The lady threw my shoes as well when I went to sit in the chair while my feet dried. I asked her if she was upset and then she said something in her language and the guy started in on me. This used to be my favorite spot for mani-pedi but I won't be coming again and won't suggest others. I don't deserve bad treatment when I'm paying for a service. John did a good on my nails but I'm giving a poor review because he cut me three times. Using dirty nail files, after he cut me he put the files he used on me back in a bin to use on another customer. As well as he didn't wear gloves and touched my bloody finger, transferring my blood unknowing if I have a blood disease or not. They don't use new nail files like they should with each customer. This place is unsanitary very dirty and could be spreading diseases to people. My main concern is how unclean my service was. My first time.... $46 plus $7 tip .... so today I walked by the nail place and decided to finally walk in after years of Compton plating... I asked how much would a full set be with a design. He told me to have a seat and he will tell me the price after he put the nails on... So reluctantly I said OK fine... I also agreed to gel nail polish after he mentioned that I should get it. Anyway, I went in this entire situation blind so to speak... They didn't have any nail books for me to get any ideas they didn't even discuss different styles with me... I just decided to get a coffin cut and gel nail polish because that's what I've done in the past... Anyway I told him I did not want the nails too long because I am not used to having long nails. He was extremely gentle with me and I didn't cringe too much from the sound of the fingernail file... His hands were lite however very rough feeling LOL. I just simply focus on his rigid textured fingers instead of the fingernail file. Anyway as soon as he finish cutting the nails which were a little wide to be coffin shaped he let me know the price. He charge me $46 for the nails and one design on each finger. I'm not too familiar with the cost elsewhere or the average cost... I thought $46 was a little high for about 35 minutes of work. Yes 35 minutes he was fast. Anyway after he finished shaping the nails this lady put the polish on them as well as the rhinestones. I would have preferred a little more neatness... I also would have preferred a little more communication as to choices of styles and design types. After it was all said and done I only left him a $7 dollar tip which is a little under 20% Now I think I should have just went to the nail bar for the 20 extra dollars... This goes to show you that you always get exactly what you pay for. Invest $60 and get something beautiful with the professionals at The Nail Bar. I would recommend this place if you are in a time crunch and just cannot afford a high class nail salon like the nail bar. read more

Please Do not come here. Save yourself from having a bad day. Today I called to make an appointment for a dip in powder refill and a pedicure. I even made sure they did powder before coming because that's all I wanted. When I got to my appointment I told the man who was gonna do my nails I was trying to grow my nails and that's why I was doing powder. So I thought he understood what I wanted but I was wrong Without asking or any warning he proceeded to cut my nail because it was a little broken but I was in shock and I told him I wanted powder not Acrylic why he had cut my nail but he said he didn't know how to do powder and he was gonna try to fix it. I've been coming here for the past few years and depending on their mood, you can get good or bad service. The last time I was there, I took my mom and she ended up with a bleeding toe. When I asked what was going on, the lady yelled to me "She had an ingrown nail". I've had an ingrown nail and it doesn't bleed just because unless someone is digging and/or pulling the skin. She didn't apologize to my mother either. Then, when we went to pay, she was charging an amount higher than normal and that turned into an argument when the man joined in and stated that they don't "overcharge." I've gotten the same service before and not paid that much. They are rude, no customer service skills whatsoever, and obviously don't care about keeping their clientele happy. I will not return here. Where do I start!! I booked an appointment 2 days in advance for Wed @2pm (originally @ 10am, which means I called 2x) and I get there and they're all looking at me like I'm crazy... no appointment! He then cuts the sides of my nails to make a coffin shape.. ughhh who said I wanted coffin!! I ask him why did you cut them like that if you never asked!! He says sorry and at this point ai just sd whatever just do it! Roughest, most painful full set. I mean why use the cleaning tool underneath if its a brand new set ?
