Anyway, quest is good for blood a urine draws, they also offer tests that you might need like strep, flu, etc. Anyhow, there are many Quest locations around DFW. I prefer this one. I highly recommend downloading the app and using it to make a reservation. They do take walk ins as well. I have never had a bad experience at this Quest (my experiences have been for post physical blood draws and a strep test in once). They have a waiting room with 10 chairs and two check in kiosks. Their staff has always treated me friendly and with respect, (and I should mention that respect is a two way street). Anyway, the quality of care has been great in my opinion. So I hope if you need to is Quest's services that you have a positive experience as well.

The band tightness was actually more painful than my kidney stone and sepsis, the reason for my visit. I begged for relief and so did my wife. I twisted and moaned and cried in pain. He said nothing. This was completely awful, emotionally scarring, and I cannot believe this man is allowed to practice medicine when he does not care about the patient's comfort. I was immediately greeted by a technician who noticed my box kit and gave me paperwork on a clipboard and pen to fill out. I spent some time listening to the African-American woman at the front desk and was impressed by her patience with hyper-verbal, language barrier and nervous people asking/talking/being pushy about their lab work. She spoke to be understood, not simply to respond, and that takes finesse. The technician asked me which arm I preferred and was gentle with my desire to have a butterfly needle used. This means a lot to a person to be heard and respected of their wishes and not just rushed to get the job done. I was in an out of there in a jiffy, even with others coming in and going out. That was nice, as I was fasted and looking forward to eating something quickly!

Natalie was the last receptionist I spoke to and she seemed very unconcerned with my dire situation. I had submitted a packet late June that Dr. Hatley needed to complete for me in order to keep my driver's license ( I had recently had several car accidents that did not involve alcohol). It is now mid-September and I just found out through the patient portal it has been faxed to the DPS. I have been asking, only to get through to the front desk, for at least a month for this information in order to send it as I also had to get an Optometrist and Psychiatrist to complete a portion. KFM, Valerie, JUST messaged me that is has been faxed. I, not KFM, was to fax it so I could sent the COMPLETE packet, not piece-meal. I am told that my PSYCHIATRIST needs to complete the entire packet all over again. This entire process has been handled very poorly, especially for something so important. I was, never once, contacted by a doctor even though I had asked to at least make an appointment with whomever was handling Dr. Hatley's patients, as she is on maternity leave. I was told it was Lucy, a Nurse Practitioner at the facility. I was refused an appointment. DO NOT put your family in the care of Keller Family Medical. They are extremely cold and do not communicate with patients.
