Vineyard Vines felt very open and comfortable to be in. The store was nice and organized and also very easy to walk around. It was simple to tell where different clothes were at. Service was the best!!! Over the summer, I got several pairs of pants for my dad and my uncle online as birthday present but one was not gift wrapped and also needed to exchange for another color. I called and Tim the manager was so kind and gracious and gave me detailed instructions to get there. When I got there Tim and another kind gentlemen at the front desk carefully found new replacement and Tim even wrapped the presents and put a mark them. This review is much delayed but hope they get the recognition for being so kind and thoughtful! read more

I love Vineyard Vines no matter which one I am in. Great quality and a super helpful staff. Pricey but they often have sales. This one was nice and a bit spacious to me. Don't know why other Yelpers were complaining but I had no such problems or issues during my visit. read more

Ugh - they're the worst. Ordered pants and 1/2 zip for Christmas. They were on sale, prob bed sale of the year. Get an email 2 days later saying the items are out of stock, they wo t fulfill the order but I get a whopping 10% off my next order. Service could have been better. Great clothes and good location. Wish they had a sale section. No greeter at the door or help when shopping. The brand is solid: great style, fit, construction, and quality. I just wish they had a sales person floating around and greeting people. I bought a top that I didn't have time to try on in the store. I went back to return it because it was just too big. The return went very smooth and with out a hitch. Solid shopping experience. My husband and I received promo cards as a gift from a Boston Pops Celebration event in Nantucket on July 4th, 2014. In late October I attempted to redeem $200. of promotional gifts online only to discover that the cards were only redeemable at a retail outletrrently and had a 60 day expiration date. There is no NYC retail store and so redemption for me would not have been possible, even within the expiration period. Awesome to have a actual store finally! Huge selection of spring and summer fashion. I love ties and you can't go wrong with one from Vineyard Vines. As I recently discovered their bow ties are also great and are a good way to be formal but fun and casual at the same time. Management here works very hard for the customer. I have had several great experiences either finding other sizes not on the floor or returning items. Should also be noted that the company has expanded well beyond ties and offers many great clothing options preppify an outfit. The quality and uniqueness of the clothes is high, but not necessarily good enough to justify the cost. Good option to add a few pieces over time but make sure to keep and eye out for sales. read more

This rating isn't even about the clothes(our family loves vv, we don't have a problem with the fashion or price) but about the service we've had at this particular store. We are from Atlanta, GA and usually visit the one at Lenox in Buckhead. Now, I'm not sure if it's the difference in southern hospitality or what, but when we dropped by the Prudential Center when we were in Boston to look for the VV Boston shirts, the cashier was so rude! No one greeted us when we were in the store at all and the cashier was literally throwing and slamming our clothes and windbreaker around like she had better things to do and we were an inconvenience. My brother picked up a car magnet(since ATL always runs out of these before we can visit again) and just as a courtesy asked the cashier lady if we could get one of them. She just stared at us like we were crazy or something, so all we could do was say Okay... and pay and leave as soon as we could. Honestly, I'm disappointed. I'm still visiting our Vineyard Vines in Atlanta, but never again in Boston. Management, if you're looking for a model for your other stores to learn from (ESPECIALLY BOSTON) please consider contacting the team in Atlanta! They are so incredibly warm and generous. read more

Exceptional customer service at this location. We purchased a tote bag from them over two years ago and was told at this store by one of the associates to wash it in the wash machine. The bag ran dye from the silk all over the bag. The store let us exchange it for a brand new bag no questions asked. They were very nice about it too. Although they have high prices, they stand behind their quality products and the associates have great attitudes and personality. Kudos to the training they receive! read more

I purchased a Red Sox tie from them, which had a crease in it. They were nice enough about offering to try and steam it out, but when I took it home and the tie had dried- some of the crease had reappeared. Their customer service didn't have any more in stock, thought the tie was discontinued and eventually found out it was not. After waiting a week to get it via UPS, the tie I received as a replacement had a much worse crease than the original! Looks like they don't invest much in the quality control department. I would definitely not order from them by mail. Make sure you see what you get and that it is in the condition that is acceptable to you! If J. Crew and Lilly Pulitzer got together and had a little super-preppy baby, it would be Vineyard Vines. Either you like that aesthetic or you don't. Personal taste aside, I've been in here to buy gifts several times and the experience has always been great. The staff is very helpful; on more than one occasion, I couldn't find the right size or color in something, and they're always willing to go check their stock and see if they have what you need. They also run frequent specials - some I've benefited from are buy one get one on boxers, buy three get one free on anything in store, and an early-bird half-off special on outerwear. Their stuff is a little overpriced and everything seems to run small, especially the men's stuff. But the shopping experience is pleasant and the staff will really do their best to please you. read more

I just love Vineyard Vines. Its my favorite store tied with Lilly Pulitzer. Their clothes are extremely good quality and timeless. The Boston location store is great! They have a very good selection of women's clothes. Yes, the sizes do run small so plan ahead to try on many different sizes. The service is excellent. They will help out find any size, order something from a different store etc. My only complaint is that they never have the whale stickers! But hey, I'll take clothes over stickers! read more

Vineyard Vines has cute summer looks, fresh and bright but not as over the top with the uber-bright colors as Lilly Pulitzer (which I do like, in moderation) Staff is very friendly & nice, not fake or snooty as one might expect at such an expensive store. The sales guy even offered me a bottled water as I was shopping, how nice. I find that their pants and skirts seem to fit true to size, but the tops and jackets run small. I am 5'3 and I wear a 6 in most of their pants & skirts but for the Susie fit polo I was glad I got the large because it shrunk to about a medium. I'm not big busted either, my torso is slightly long for my height but I'm only a 34B. So make sure to try the tops on ladies, and leave room for shrinkage if it's cotton. The only downside is the price. The items are well made but they are still pricey for what they are. read more

I was in a jam and a guy by the name of Evan went out of his way to help tie my bow tie for a wedding. Me being me was running late and couldn't tie mine - literally had to leave for it in 20 min, but he came through for me and now I look very dapper. Sorry to be negative, but I have had terrible customer service at this location. Actually, I haven't had any service at all. I have been in a couple times just to check things out and have been completely ignored by the staff every time. Maybe it's because I don't find the elitist preppy look that this store strives for, who knows. I guess this place can afford to be stuck up in their attitude and prices. Regardless, there's much better service to be found at Club Monaco or J. Crew nearby. Better clothing options too. read more

I am a huge fan of the Vineyard Vines brand. It always fits, the sizing is consistent and you know that you can count on it for something cute and trendy. I have been to stores all over the country and the service and this one was amongst the worst. Employees were far more interested in chitchatting with each other than offering to help, or even acknowledge customers. It is an expensive store, and when you are paying that kind of money, you expect a specific level of service. read more

I love Vineyard Vines, but there are close to no stores near where I live. After several months of online shopping, I finally made it out to the store.
