This property is gorgeous. Love the mixture of modern, farm, privacy and wildlife. The ranch hands are here to valet and cart you around the property in a cool ranch style golf cart. There is a beautiful restaurant and coffee shop to keep you fed and caffeinated. Two pools; one for family and another for adults. Food and beverages available at the pools. The spa facility is incredible (salt room, steam, etc) as well as massage therapy in a separate bungalow. The gym has the standards and a classroom, along with a nice collection of Theragun physical therapy tools. The service is great and everyone is super friendly. One of my favorite things is the wildlife on property. We had a family of wild turkeys hanging out on our patio one evening. We can also feed the farm chickens at noon. Love it here and look forward to coming back.

Getting away for the weekend to celebrate our anniversary, my wife and I chose to stay up at Stanly Ranch. The grounds are lovely and offer a peaceful setting for a getaway from the kids. It's probably the first time I've slept in past 8am in 5 years! The Lavender Pool was a nice area to lounge around as well... There are electric golf carts to hustle you around the property, but we chose to walk most of it. The food offered at the Bear (its main restaurant) was good, though pricey (as expected) and the Gavel, the hotels coffee shop offered good coffee and pastries (though a bit limited). Without a doubt though, the service level was impeccable! Given how hard it is to hire good staff, everyone we encountered was friendly and very attentive to us. Every single staff member was hospitable, which is a great sign that the property is managed very well.

I stayed at Stanly Ranch on July 24th for my birthday and returned on August 13th for my 14th anniversary. This is only the second hotel I've tried in Napa, but from now on, Stanly Ranch is my go-to for overnight trips. The experience was amazing: top-notch staff, a beautiful setting, and cozy rooms. We took full advantage of the amenities, including the spa, where I had my first cold plunge and lymphatic drainage. My second stay was even better. I enjoyed a Rambler 1 Bedroom King Suite, complete with a double-sided fireplace, a separate living room with a dining table for four, and a trellised terrace with a fire pit and lounge seating. The suite was luxury at its finest, and the resort's multiple pools, amazing spa, and great staff made the experience unforgettable. I'll definitely be back next year!

Food, service, ambiance are all A+. The spa and restaurant especially stand out and all the bath products.

This has become one of my favorite resorts ever. My second time staying here was even better. Maybe because it wasn't high season but it was quiet and serene, the natural smells and landscape relaxed me instantly, and the pool experience cannot be compared- I can't quite put my finger on why I think so, but it is the best. If you're looking for exceptional and friendly service, beautiful and natural atmosphere, and ultimate relaxation, this will be your happy place too.

We have stayed at Auberge du Soleil a few times and we felt like the service declined. Stanly Ranch is breathtaking. It is so unique, modern, and top tier across the board. Some of the highlights: Food at Bear was delicious and it felt like the traditional California cuisine prevalent in Napa but with a ranch vibe. The suite itself was outstanding. Beautiful dining area and bedroom, as well as a fire pit outside and an outdoor shower. The only thing that would have been better would be if it were more private. However, you can see the grapevines from the room, so it is worth it. As far as the staff is concerned, there were some all star, above and beyond members: Olivia at the front desk Marco who helped with our luggage upon arrival Haley at Bear Cameron at valet Thank you for an unforgettable experience! We will be back!

One of the best places we have ever stayed. We went for our 10 year wedding anniversary in February 2025 and had the most amazing time on the property. We indulged in the spa center and I attended one of the all day wellness retreats. If your are on the fence of trying one out, just do it. I signed up an hour before and do not regret it one bit. Their is tons to do on property and the I'm sure we didn't even to to enjoy most of it. We looked forward to coming back and exploring more Auberge location in the future.

It was an amazing experience, riding bikes through their perfectly manicure vineyards.

We had an opportunity to experience the Stanley Ranch Auberge resort over the Fourth of July weekend, and it was an unforgettable mini-vacation. From the time we booked our stay, the concierge and the front desk teams were in close contact with us, providing information about our check-in, offering program schedules, and helping with booking various restaurants, wellness activities, and other activities. We arrived early in the morning, and even though our room was not available, we were able to check in, have breakfast at the amazing Bear, and use the adult pool as well as the spa facilities inside the Springhouse. We booked the Springhouse (salt room, steam room, and sauna) ahead of time for every day of our stay. We also purchased the lymphatic massage and the cold plunge. We enjoyed every wellness activity immensely. The staff at the check-in counter of the Halehouse spa, the Springhouse attendants, the masseuse, and the service staff at the adult pool were all extremely knowledgeable, attentive, and highly professional. I loved the fact that they took the time to memorize our names! The suite was ready at approximately 2 PM. We were notified via a text message and offered to have our card keys delivered to wherever we were on the property. The communication throughout our stay was extremely efficient - both via text and email. We received daily schedules, reminders about booked activities, and additional information about the live music, falconry, farmer's market, etc. We began every morning with a walk to the Gavel coffee shop for high-quality coffee drinks as well as fresh and delicious pastries (their pistachio croissants were irresistible). Then we would use their bikes to ride around their massive property, surrounded by beautifully manicured vineyards and different types of lavender and other field flowers. The property views took us back to the South of France. After the bike ride, we would have breakfast at the onsite Bear restaurant, which was simply exquisite. The food at the Bear was so delicious that we decided to cancel all of our dinner reservations at other local restaurants and eat all of our meals at the Bear. Our suite was spacious, modernly decorated, and fully stocked with complimentary teas, coffee, sodas, fruits, and water. They also had various snacks and bottles of alcoholic beverages available for purchase. The backyard door opened to a round loveseat, a small fire pit, and a perfectly manicured green vineyard. This place provided us with an amazing, relaxing, and memorable experience, and we will definitely make future plans to visit this breathtaking property again.

Such an amazing experience! This was my first time coming to Napa as an adult and I had the pleasure of staying here. We originally had a king cottage and they upgraded us to a rambler suite. The employees at the front wear cowboy hats and are dressed like ranchers which is a cute touch. There's also a promotion with Mercedes right now so there's 7 vehicles on property available to rent. We rented one for the day and it was super easy to book. First come first serve, just give an id and less than 5 minutes of paperwork. They also have plenty of golf carts on property to drive you to and from your room. Our room was so stunning with two restrooms, high ceilings, an indoor and outdoor fireplace, and the decor was so pleasing. We also had the chance to try the spa which was great, both our massage therapists were so kind. The room service is also better than most hotels and it's a cute touch that you can do smore's at your fireplace. Cannot wait to come back!

Dinner. Kampachi is a must have!

What an Amazing site located in a tucked area of Napa. We enjoyed the spa which had incredible views from the dry sauna as well as a spectacular steam sauna. We enjoyed dinner at the onsite restaurant. My whole experience was impeccable. What a great way to celebrate my birthday.

Lobby is tiny and we were greeted while they were busy with other visitors. Gave us a three level upgrade with outdoor tub but too many leaves and pollen to use. Called for housekeeping and nobody arrived. Have to call to get slippers and tooth brushes and only bought one set even though they confirmed for two. Lounge sets were not covered prior to our arrival which I would expect as part of housekeeping. Hence can't use lounge chairs and patio furniture without cleaning. Spiders on outside furnitures and inside cottage had one dangle down its web right in front of me while sitting on the sofa. Bathtub inside is broken and can't use to take a bath and looks like it's been broken for a while. I liked the folding patio door setup as allows a nice view of the roses in the yard and a nice breeze but a lot of bugs. Could be helpful if there's lavender plants in the backyard. Nice fire place in backyard that can run really hot and keep bugs off you and a nice place to relax in the morning. Shower had nice heated floors but tub not working detracted from the experience. Service is great and everyone was ultra friendly but hard product is missing the spot.

Upon arrival, we had to wait to check in because there was only one person working the front desk. For a resort charging nearly $1,200 per night, this was not a great first impression. There was also no welcome drink or arrival experience offered. The next day I noticed a bottle of wine and cups sitting on a table near check-in, but no one had mentioned it to us when we arrived. I booked through American Express Platinum and inquired about a room upgrade, but was told the resort was at full capacity and no upgrades were available. However, throughout our stay the property appeared surprisingly empty and certainly did not feel anywhere close to full occupancy. I had also informed the resort ahead of time that we were celebrating our 6th anniversary. There was no welcome note, no small gift, and no acknowledgment whatsoever. While not required, these are the types of details luxury resorts typically excel at, especially when guests are celebrating special occasions. The room itself was another disappointment. For the rate we paid, it felt small and poorly maintained. Several lights and the television were unplugged, leaving us to troubleshoot them ourselves. The curtains were falling off the rod, and there was visible trash in the backyard area. These are basic maintenance issues that should never be present at a property positioning itself as a luxury destination. Dining was equally frustrating. We attempted to get a table at The Farm and were told the next available table would be about 20 minutes. We were offered immediate seating outside near the bar, but staff failed to mention that this was effectively a different dining experience with a much more limited menu. The service there was poor from start to finish. Our waiter forgot to place one of our orders, resulting in my wife's meal arriving much later than mine. We frequently had to flag him down just to receive basic service. The food portions were small and the quality was mediocre at best. The one bright spot of our stay was the wine tasting at Post Tasting Room with Cole. He was knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely seemed to care about creating a great guest experience. He was easily the highlight of our visit. Overall, Carneros Resort and Spa did not deliver the luxury experience it promises, nor did it justify its premium pricing. Between the poor service, lack of attention to detail, room condition issues, and disappointing dining experience, I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to friends or family.

I will say first, from what I saw of the hotel, it is nicely appointed and has great staff. I would consider coming back just to stay. Our lunch was also pretty nice. The service was rather slow, especially since we were one of two occupied tables for most of the time we were there (mid-week), but the food was very good and fresh/healthy feeling. Now, on to the spa. I chose the 80 min peptide lifting facial for $395. First of all, $395 is a price you might pay for a full service spa. This is not that. There is a tiny locker room with a closet sized sauna in it that could fit one or two people. There is one shower and a sink to clean up in. No other facilities. Second of all, the facial was nothing special to cost that much. I have better facials at home at my local salon, and usually pay less than $100. At the end of the facial the esthetician, who had just spent the last 75 mins cleaning all the gunk off my face and out of my pores, then proceeded to put a nasty tinted moisturizer all over my face! I asked her about it at the time, told her that I do not wear makeup of any kind, and even told her I was concerned about it getting on the collar of my light grey sweater. She just slathered it on. Told me if I didn't like it I could use a tissue to wipe it off! When I went to get dressed after my service I looked in the mirror and saw that I did in fact look like a tangerine. Thankfully I had some cleaning wipes in my bag, and was able to get it all off. So I basically wiped off $395 of facial in two minutes with a cheap drug store towelette. Great. So, basically, stay at the hotel or maybe trying out the restaurant, but avoid the spa!

We flew into Sacramento Airport and made the drive to Napa, which took about an hour and fifteen minutes depending on traffic. Once we arrived, the location of the hotel immediately stood out. It sits just outside downtown Napa--about a 9‑minute walk or a quick 2‑minute drive--and the surrounding area is flat, safe, and very walkable. From the front entrance near the valet, a simple left turn leads you straight to Oxbow Public Market and the Napa Riverfront. The Napa Valley Wine Train station is also right next door, which adds a unique charm to the property. The hotel itself is built along the Napa River on land that was once part of the city's early railroad and milling district, and that history is reflected in the setting. Another highlight is that this Westin is one of the few with a Michelin‑star connection through its signature restaurant, La Toque. Upon arrival, valet greeted us immediately, as valet parking is the only option. Check‑in is located just to the right, and the first thing that caught my attention was the wall of wine bottles--a thoughtful detail that reflects Napa's identity as a premier wine region. The lobby is spacious, inviting, and beautifully designed, creating a strong sense of arrival. We stayed in room 2079, a superior one‑bedroom suite that felt more like a private residence than a typical hotel room. The suite included a dining table, a pull‑out couch, two televisions (one in the dining area and one in the bedroom), a full kitchen, and a private balcony overlooking the courtyard. The space was clean, comfortable, and well‑maintained. The bathroom was also impressive, and the waterfall showerhead quickly became one of my favorite features. Overall, the Westin Verasa Napa offered a comfortable and convenient stay with excellent access to downtown, the riverfront, and nearby attractions. The thoughtful design, spacious rooms, and ideal location made our New Year's visit smooth and enjoyable. It's a property that enhances the Napa experience in all the right ways.

Coming here was a night and day difference! As ambassadors, they upgraded us to a 1 bedroom suite and it was a game changer. Huge room with a kitchen and separate bedroom. The staff was amazing, and the location was really convenient. We had our dogs with us and there was plenty of outdoor space for walks.

My wife and I have a long-standing tradition of spending New Year's week here, and honestly, it's…read morewhere some of our favorite memories have been made. Solage is nestled right on the Silverado Trail in the heart of Calistoga, and the location is unbeatable--you're basically three minutes from downtown and a short, scenic drive from St. Helena and Yountville. The property itself is stunning. It's got that modern wine-country vibe with about 100 detached studios spread across 20-plus acres. When you're sitting in one of the natural hot spring pools or hitting the cold dips at the spa, it really does feel like world-class luxury. Between the mud slides, the gravity chairs, and the fitness classes, you can easily spend your whole trip without leaving the gates. The Food: Solbar is a must. We had the seven-course New Year's Eve prix fixe with wine pairings over numerous years, and each were equally unique and incredible. It's that perfect balance of farm-to-table "health" food and total comfort dishes. For something more low-key, Picobar by the pool has some of the best Baja-style tacos I've had in NorCal. Plus, the whole place is super dog-friendly, which is a huge win for us. The Experience & Pro-Tip: Definitely book through AmEx Platinum if you can. We used the Fine Hotels + Resorts program and snagged a $300 credit, a late 4 p.m. checkout, and an automatic upgrade. I will say, even "perfect" places have their off moments. This year, despite requesting a room close to the spa months in advance (and confirming twice), they initially tucked us away at the far edge of the property. I wasn't thrilled about hiking across 22 acres in my robe and sandals! I spoke with the front desk, and the concierge actually went back and reviewed my recorded calls to verify the request. They did move us about 30 minutes later to a spot half the distance away, though it lacked the private fenced patio and fireplace of our original booking. I was too tired to keep fighting it and just wanted to get to the spa, so I settled in. Despite that hiccup, the service and the atmosphere here remain some of the best in the world. It's not cheap, but for the memories and the access to Napa's best vineyards, it's worth it every time. Can't wait to be back next year.

We…read morevisited Solage and had a pleasant time, although compared to Stanly Ranch or ADS, Solage fell a bit short of expectations. Compared to Stanly, the rates for rooms were more expensive while I felt the Stanly offered a much better campus. Despite the comments about the campus, the food onsite was pretty good and the reviews will be posted in their respective pages. The room service could have been better as they missed delivery of the pre-ordered breakfast in the morning as the night shift didn't properly fill in the order request and didn't get placed, but the team quickly remedied the situation and delivered not too long after our original request time. The rooms were comfy with a good layout, but the garden out back were covered with fences and it didn't feel as freeing as Stanly Ranch's rooms where the back patio is uncovered. Overall, I'd visit Stanly or Auberge du Soleil when going back to the Napa area.
