I've stayed here twice recently and it's very good value for money. The rooms are trailers, as others have explained, but nice. I am a fan of motel-style places where you can park outside your room, see your car, and not have a lot of noise from other guests, and this fits the bill. Not only do you get a lot of room, it's also appointed with a full kitchen: stove, microwave, coffee maker, fridge, and dishwasher. I was in Napa for cooking classes so I didn't do much besides store leftovers and make coffee but I appreciated the possibilities, especially for a longer stay. Total for the stays ranged from $150 - $200 all in. The service is efficient if not overly effusive, you get what you need though. There's a minimal happy hour reception, swimming pool and a Jacuzzi that may or may not be working. If I had to critique anything, the TVs (two) are small and not HD. There is a DVD player though. I had trouble reserving on the website this last stay -- it showed fully booked but I don't think it was -- but it all worked out. There are also a lot of light switches that don't seem to do anything, but you will figure it out. read more

First time here at RiverPointe Napa Valley and will not be the last for sure. Super cute little resort area, and super quite. We came checked in on Tuesday for one night. Anna at the front desk was super helpful and friendly. She kept good communication with us since we requested a earlier check in after our long trip as we arrived early to Napa. And being in my third trimester and under hot weather, this gesture is super awesome and we really appreciate the flexibility of that. They have great amenities on site including pool and sauna and pool tables. You can also park your car in front of the cottages. I'm already looking forward to be back here again! read more

For a longer stay on a budget this place does fit the bill. You have a mobile home converted into a quaint home with fully functional kitchens and full sized fridges. There is one bedroom with a king bed and a fair sized kitchen area. The grounds have a pool and a hot tub, and a secondary hot tub separate and more private than the poolside tub. Overall there is room to improve on certain things like accessing the hot tub (reservation system not working) and the entertainment and activity area (ping pong, cornhole). Overall, I was happy to stay on a budget and make use of the local grocery stores. read more

My wife and I had talked about taking a vacation in Napa for a few years. This year, I traded my timeshare in for a week at RiverPointe and we had a fantastic time! At RiverPointe, you have your own private cottage. The cottage has 1 bedroom and a full kitchen. We also had a private patio with outdoor furniture. This was perfect for inviting friends over for wine and appetizers. Our cottage was very clean. We called and had fresh towels delivered daily and they did complete housekeeping in the middle of the week. The service was very accommodating. The location was perfect. It's a short drive from Downtown Napa and you're also near all the wineries. There's even a Walmart around the corner to stock the kitchen when you arrive. The cottages are right along the Napa River and there's a nice walking path. We're so glad we stayed here. It was so much nicer than a typical hotel. read more

RiverPointe Napa Valley: Enchantment along the Napa River San Francisco has been a very special destination for us for over 45 years. San Francisco is often a city for a holiday or for several national conferences. We first visited San Francisco in our early 20's as we engaged in a six-week national tour with a recreational vehicle as home base (more on that later.) On one occasion, we hiked from Fisherman's Wharf across the Golden Gate Bridge and into Sausalito. Following lunch, we took a ferry back to San Francisco. We are fans of Muir Woods, Berkeley, the Presidio, Mendocino, Monterey, Sonoma Valley, Napa Valley, and several other destinations. A car is not necessary in San Francisco, but a car is necessary for numerous trips, and we seem happier with "do-it-yourself" traveling rather than guided tours. Not all tourists are fans of Napa and Sonoma, but these two destinations offer much more than wine tasting. We discovered RiverPointe Napa Valley Resort (500 Lincoln Avenue Napa, CA 94558 707-252-4200) as an exchange through Interval International. Both Napa and Sonoma are a short drive north of San Francisco. And while Napa and Sonoma are about 30 minutes apart, we find that one valley or the other valley offers more than enough for a day's activities. RiverPointe Napa Valley Resort is somewhat "unique!" As long-time members of Interval International, we really preferred the older five-star and four-star rating systems. RiverPointe Napa Valley Resort qualifies as a four-star resort or as an Interval International Select Resort. RiverPointe Napa Valley Resort is not a Hyatt, Westin, or Marriott resort by any stretch. In our view, RiverPointe Napa Valley Resort provides a series of "Park Models" mobile homes or modular units. These manufactured units (usually 35 to 45 feet long) are not self-contained. Park Models (modular units) are designed for park living only; and while Park Models are easily moved from site to site as a normal trailer is, Park Models are not capable of "dry camping" as Park Models do not have any water storage tanks and must be used with hookups. Though designed to remain stationary for extended periods of time, park models differ from mobile homes in that they are usually still sporadically moved. A visit to RiverPointe Napa Valley Resort and the proximity to the Napa River will clearly indicate that high water may necessitate temporary movement to higher ground. We previously noted holidays in our 20's in recreational vehicles; so, we have had some experience with this lifestyle. And we certainly appreciate that couples and families who enjoy recreational vehicles holidays. We appreciate that "snowbirds," and others enjoy Park Models and that both mobile homes and Park Models offer an acceptable habitat to many. RiverPointe Napa Valley Resort offers fine accommodations for a couple or a young family near Napa. We strongly encourage our readers to view the excellent Interval International website and review the accurate photos of RiverPointe Napa Valley Resort. Perhaps, two adult couples or even families may be challenged by the very limited interior and deck space of these Park Models. Perhaps, a couple may find the perfect accommodations for a week in the Napa Valley. RiverPointe Napa Valley Resort is less a resort than a Park Model "trailer park" (perhaps, an "upscale" trailer park.) RiverPointe Napa Valley Resort becomes more attractive when one factors in the other hotel and lodging prices. Given a community of families and couples the RiverPointe Napa Valley Resort seems to work. However, given one Park Model with teens or youth partying without supervision, there will be some unpleasantness. Let's hope this last scenario does not manifest itself. RiverPointe Napa Valley Resort provides a setting for a very dense population. The population density may not present a problem as long as all visitors are aware of basic civilized norms. RiverPointe Napa Valley Resort has the potential for a very nice Napa and or Sonoma holiday. There are the usual timeshare amenities. We strongly suggest a two-bedroom exchange for one couple. Very often the exterior patio deck is shared with other couples. Spartan, but clean best describes the units. My Marriott SurfWatch in Hilton Head foyer has greater space than does the living room of RiverPointe Napa Valley Resort. The kitchen and bathroom are small, but functional. The "dining room" space is limited to a small two-person table. One bedroom is fine for sleeping, and the second bedroom is necessary for luggage and other travel gear. We believe in caveat emptor (Latin, Let the buyer beware.) A warning that notifies a buyer that the goods he or she is buying are "as is," or subject to all defects. Armed with the photos from Interval International, and other sources, the Napa visitor may have a wonderful week at the RiverPointe Napa Valley Resort. Nearly all guests will have fine food and fine wine as their agenda. read more

If you are looking to stay at a TRAILER and what looks like a trailer park then this is your place to stay. However, I was looking for a cottage as advertised NOT a trailer. This is a trailer, they hide the wheels in the pictures but you can clearly see them once you arrive. I booked through Airbnb and was very disappointed. The trailer moves and shakes to wind which gives me vertigo. If I was looking to stay in a trailer I would've searched airbnb for a trailer. I did not come to Napa to stay in a very over priced trailer at a trailer park. The pictures are VERY deceiving, they make the trailer look bigger than it actually is. This trailer is VERY small. We arrived at 730 pm to an office that was closed so we used the phone check in. It took roughly 30 minutes to get someone to check us in. While we were on hold for someone to give us access to the lock box another couple opened the lock box for us because they were given the wrong key. So we took our key and got to our "so called" cottage and immediately noticed we did not get what was advertised. Very small, uneven ground because it's on wheels, uncomfortable bed and sofa, we didn't get a wifi log in or password, the tv was basic without hi def, noticed some bugs crawling on the ceiling, and a lot of stray cats in the area. One stray cat followed us to our trailer and wouldn't leave (I do not like cats). I came to Napa to relax and enjoy but this felt more like we were on a campground and again, if that was what I was going for than I wouldn't be as bothered but since this place was advertised as a cottage that was bothersome. We ended up checking out the next morning and getting a room at a hotel for the next night. Even though we purchased a two night stay at this "so called" cottage, it was so bad that we didn't care about not getting a refund we just wanted to leave. The front desk didn't have much to say when I said we are leaving because this is a TRAILER not a cottage. Not worth the price we paid. Will never stay here again. We just completed a one week stay at this Timeshare Resort. This resort is located in a prime location to explore Downtown Napa and the Silverado Trail for Wine Tasting! The resort consists of One Bedroom and Studio units located in individual mobile home trailers with one parking space outside the front of the unit. Each One Bedroom Unit is standalone with no shared walls. The Studio units do share walls with another Studio Unit within the Mobile Home Trailer. The One Bedroom Unit has a Queen Bed in the bedroom, a Queen sized Sleeper Sofa in the Living room and a Central Air and Heat system with a digital thermostat and its very own water heater so the water becomes hot fast! We stayed in a One Bedroom unit through an RCI Exchange. The resort has a swimming pool, two jacuzzi hot tubs, and a good sized clubhouse with a pool table, foosball table, shuffleboard table top game, vending machine, large sofa and chairs with a 70" HD TV. The property provides for a mid-week refresh of the unit. This property is located within a 5 minute drive to Oxbow market and Downtown Napa for many restaurants to dine in. The resort is just minutes from the Silverado Trail to explore vineyards for Wine Tasting. There is an onsite laundry room with no charge to use the washers and dryers and the resort provides free fragrance free laundry detergent and dryer sheets. The management staff is very responsive, approachable and friendly. We had an initial issue trying to figure out how to turn on a light above the dining table and when we called for assistance, the resort staff sent out a maintenance staff person who arrived within 5 minutes of our call and assisted us by showing us how to operate the dining light and the dimmer ability of the light! The General Manager, Tom, was very pleasant to speak to and gave us additional information on how to use the laundry room. The resort has many activities throughout the week, although we didn't have time to attend, since we were out wine tasting and exploring the area much of the time. We will definitely look forward to staying at this resort again in the future! read more

DO NOT STAY HERE. One of THE worst hotels Ive stayed at. My wife and I came here for our 1 year wedding anniversary. For starters once we checked in they gave us all these rules like take out the trash and do your own laundry (although I didnt do my laundry anyways) and they didnt have any cleaning services at all. Meaning the towels we got for our stay were it. To add on to that, the shower and bathroom had unknown mystery brown stains that looked disgusting. The front desk lady texted me EVERY 5 minutes to give me new rules and didnt give me piece of mind. The thermostat didnt work although I let them know and they said theyll send someone our to fix it. 3 days later no one came and it was time to check out. The bed was hard and stuff and also dirty (surprise surprise). You also have ZERO privacy. There are a lot of other houses around you and the blinds dont close all the way so theres always a gap. Also you share a porch with the houses on either side leaving you with even LESS privacy. Overall, I dont recommend anyone stay here at all. read more

Vacation on the Napa River not far from great food & plenty of vineyards This is our second time at this location & still impressive with the scenery. Received an email for pre-check in and made our reservation check in fast and easy. Our unit is located right on the river walk and porch faced the river walk with green grass tall enough to mask the passerby from looking in the windows. The have plenty to do including a nice size pool, games in the front building and BBQs located through out the property. A gym & sauna is here to enjoy by appt only. Margarita get together is happening one night this week and they will text patrons is a sudden event become available to join in on. Staff are wearing mask and very complimentary to any & all needs. The unit is a one bedroom spacious unit with kitchen, wonderful high windows & treatments for shade, high ceilings. Its a nice quiet area to look forward for rest & relaxation. read more

TL;DR: 1. Inflexible and unresponsive management. 2. Inconvenient; front office closes at 8pm. 3. Ants common in the area. We spent close to $400 for 1 night's stay, so at the very least we expected it to be free of bugs... Not this place. My 9yo found lots of ants in & around the toilet. Then we found more ants scattered in the sink, on the bed, behind the pillows, on the blanket, nightstands and the floor. Some ants were moving; some not. When we packed everything back to our car and went back to the front desk, the one front desk lady were about to leave for the day. Their front desk closes at 8pm. She stayed to try and help us, although there was nothing she could do and she was in a rush to get home. Initially she said there was no other room left, then she said there's one left. However, my kid was too distressed to stay even in a diff room bc the room layout was the same. My kid was already paranoid about seeing more ants on that property. She even refused to use the toilet there. Maintenance guy dropped in at some point and put in a maintenance ticket for the next day. He said he lives nearby and found ants in his house too...ants just come out during rain season. The front desk lady was not authorized to give a refund. She gave us a business card to call the manager the next day, because he was already gone for the day. In the end, we canceled the next day's sightseeing, and drove 3hrs in pouring rain to get back home. The worst part of the whole ordeal was that the manager James Leveridge avoided our call in the morning. We certainly expected more hospitality from a small town. We expected at least an apology, but simply got ignored. He just gave us a very poor impression of Napa. read more

We stayed here on a wine trip to Napa. Overall the place was good. Pros: great location, staff was very friendly and super responsive. Property itself was beautiful with all the fall foliage. Very private and a lot of space compared to a typical hotel room. Very easy, free parking. Cons: the units were old. Although there is a kitchen it's not well equipped. Can only make simple meals. We had ants in our unit in the bathroom drain and shower. The property was very responsive and moved us immediately saying this happens when it gets really cold. Because the units are individual, manufactured home like, this is a possibility to keep in mind when traveling during weather changes. read more

A weekend in Napa is always a wonderful treat, but finding this resort on the river may have been one of our luckiest accomplishments yet (and credit for that goes to my bff!) She booked a couple nights for us and our boyfriends to celebrate our birthdays in late September. Tyree and Yolando helped check in our group of 4 upon arrival. They were awesome!! We were showed to our private trailer: It was clean, spacious, adorable, and affordable! We cooked chicken and salmon on the community bbq then drank wine together while playing card games inside before bed. It was absolutely perfect! The next couple of days we watched the PGA tournament live at Silverado Resort, which is very nearby. We walked the River path in the mornings by our room and it was a beautiful way to start our days!! There's plenty of safe parking and privacy here and we will definitely book another stay next time we spend the night in nearby Napa. read more

Two and a half stars for a quaint/bougie trailer park. Complimentary wine tasting at 5 pm didn't feature anything impressive; two spa water dispensers in the lobby rotated between strawberry, cucumber, and apple infusions. Community drop-ins on 3-4' pool and 6-person hot tub. Furniture replacements required us to give access; no trash removal during our three-day stay. Each trailer has a tight fit for a parking space, with one parking permit and two trailer house keys per "cottage." Garden lattice hides the trailer-y exterior, and the patio seating was left alone by passersby on the trail. Fans, a/c unit, nicely equipped kitchenette (dishwasher, full fridge, microwave, toaster, tea kettle, manual can opener, corkscrew). Pillows are flat, but the bed is definitely comfier than the sleeper couch. Multiple wifi nodes, spotty cable tv, sliding doors to maximize space. We picked this facility because they had a "kitchen", which technically it did, but w a sink, coffee pot + 2 burner stove top on 5' top made it hard to really cook! I liked idea of Tiny Home & it worked out well, but no service of any kind unless you called. The only time I called for trash pick up, they left trash bags tied to door! However when we got ready to check out I got this text "This is your friendly reminder to please assist us with your check-out by bagging any trash, placing used towels in the shower or tub, and loading your dishwasher. Yes. These are trailers. But don't let that deter you. We were reluctant to stay here after several people had emphasized that it was a glorified trailer park. Ummmm... I stayed with grandma during the summers at her trailer park and this ain't it. The trailers are repurposed with roofs and a cottage exterior. You get a small stove, sink, dish washer, microwave, full fridge and freezer, eastern king bed, bath and shower. There's even a shared patio that is furnished. Complaints of hearing your neighbors didn't happen to us. I didn't even see our neighbors. It isn't the Ritz-Carlton so if you need turndown service, go to an actual hotel. The unit itself is older but we loved that you could open the front door to the patio and just leave it open for a nice breeze. We kept the windows open and watched tv. It was awesome! Front desk people were pleasant and there is a bike/walking trail that was only a few yards from our place. You can opt to shave a unit over looking the river too! 4 stars because the unit isn't really updated. Bathtub could use some work and there were crumbs on the couch when we got here. Meh. read more

Okay... so here's the situation...my fiance and I went on a weeks vacation and... We left the pets and the kids at home...did they mind...hmmm..no of course not. LOL. Anyway, I've stayed here before and IT IS central and close to downtown Napa... I love that. The Bungalows (aka non-mobil trailers) are adorable, clean, and the staff are supportive and kind when you ask for something. The resort is next to a beautiful trail the runs side by side to the Napa river. Stunning. That being said, i think that the inside of our bungalows need a bit of a face lift. Again, they are cute and we didn't spend a lot of time here because...you know...we are in wine country, but the mattresses are old and the TVs are old school, and they have a toaster when there isn't an oven and it could be a toaster oven...old coffee pot, old iron board that was sort of crumbling in it's fabric top and not really getting hot. Things could get a tiny facelift...it would help a bit. Also, due to covid they didn't have a lot of the timeshare benefits, but it would have been nice for them to check in on us and see if we needed things... We did receive a phone number and a cell number if we needed anything so that was good, but responses weren't always in a timely manner and they don't open in the morning until 8am! Because no cleaning staff comes during your stay, guests need to be able to call early if we need things like more towels, toilet paper, etc. Again, overall, this place is charming. I would stay again, but be ready for the basics.. which is not bad... just would like a bit more in the appliances and support staff. Also, for the cost of a timeshare these days... and to exchange it - as in, what it is actually worth compared to cost, I wanted to score a 3.75 instead of a 4 because I believe it earned a C+, not a D or a B (I am a teacher)... but it doesn't allow us to score that way. Had a weird issue with Yelp when I tried to upload my review years ago. 1. If you are Millennial, you may not like this place. It's kind of "old school" and for older people. A certain type of Millennial will like this place if they are outdoorsy and love to cook. 2. You are close to the Napa River with a 2.5 mile walking trail to explore, across the street from WalMart so you can buy food to cook as they have grills outside and kitchens in every cabin. You can swim and hot tub, wash your laundry along with meeting some cool middle aged and elderly people in the club house for games, wine tasting, trivia or other activities they put on 3. A small workout room with a SAUNA!!!! eeeeee!!!! The workout room is small but we worked out there everyday and got it done. A bike, two stair masters and a treadmill with a beautiful flat screen to entertain you while you sweat. 4. The place is clean as a whistle, no issues for us but we are low maintenance active middle aged people so very easy to please. 5. The Staff is very nice and friendly 6. Pricey if you eat out three meals a day and take expensive wine tasting trips - we didn't we cooked so we came out ahead Caveat: Don't go during tourist season or Labor, Memorial Day holidays, it's an S show. People there party and let their kids run wild with minimal supervision, take them into the hot tub so adults can't relax. DO NOT STAY HERE This place was fine until the last night. The people next to us decided to have a party and they were so loud and the walls were so thin we could hear EVERYTHING. I politely asked them to lower their voices as we were trying to sleep and had a long travel day the next day. The guy literally told me to get some earplugs and deal with it. They continued to be loud and started mocking us aggressively so much so that we had to leave in the middle of the night because we felt unsafe. There was no one at the front desk and the off-hours number was a recording. The next day we explained the situation to the front desk in the morning and how we had to literally leave at 11:00 pm to go to another hotel. They said their supervisor would call us later but they never did and they didn't even offer to comp our last night. HORRIBLE. read more

This review is regarding the front desk & pool area at RiverPointe Napa Valley. Today we were guests of a timeshare owner and visited the resort for the first time. We were warmly greeted by the front desk and staff while checking in with our pool reservation. The pool area was well maintained. Fresh towels were provided and lots of seating to choose from. The lap pool was heated, clean and shallow enough for little ones to play in. The hot tub was a nice temperature too, clean and a great way to warm up after using the pool. We were the only guests for an hour and a half, it was very peaceful. I really enjoyed Riverpoint NV and would like to return here again. read more

Wonderful, unique, and colorful cottages! This place is a perfect place to stay especially in times of an ongoing pandemic. It was amazing to have an individual cottage that has everything you need for a great getaway. The staff were so friendly and accommodating in our calls and contact free check in and check out. Amenities (pool, jacuzzi) can be reserved for private use and is covid compliant which is a great relief! Walking trails near the Napa River made for great excursions! There is an extra $10.50 daily resort fee, hidden in fine print, that includes a WiFi fee. The WiFi download speed is between glacial and snail pace. I found it at 6AM from my cabin trailer. I could not connect at 3AM nor 2PM so I walk to the Clubhouse to connect. For your fee, every time you connect you have to wade through advertisements as though this is free WiFi. If your family is into IT devices this is not the place for you. You'll be miserable. I read Yelpers post and preloaded my iPhone & iPad with books, movies & podcast. I was okay with little to no service until I was assessed a direct fee for lousy ad laden service. The resort fee includes a laundry room (3 washers and 3 dryers). Laundry detergent is provided. The laundry room is decent. Your resort fee also includes "free" wine tastings. Lol The wine tastings are worth attending, at least once. Our cabin trailers were clean, bravo to the cleaning service. These trailers are narrow. There is no room to spare. I had to rearrange the glasses to have somewhere to store the few grocery items that did not need refrigeration. If you have a wide-body, take this place off your bucket list. I have to turn sideways to get around the desk in the room, bed about 12 inches from the desk. The main plus is it's location, Napa Valley, near all the wineries. It's within walking distance to WalMart. There is a Whole Food Store & Trader Joes in the same shopping center not far away also. It's an easy drive to the petrified Forest and Old Faithful Geyser. We drove to Armstrong State Park, 1.5 hours away, to see Redwood Trees in all their glory. All the wineries in Napa & Sonoma Counties are easy to access. Visit the Welcome Center in Napa City to get the lowdown on stuff the Riverpointe staff is reluctant to mention, for whatever reason. My rating is a solid 3 star after a week. This is not a luxury resort by any means though but they cover the basics. You can get boxes from the front desk to ship your wine. My family and went to this resort to get away before the school year starts ! It was a very cute place however wayyyyy too many spiders and a few flies, my son woke up with a bite on his arm but it went away after a few days .. I understand it's just a mobile home (with wheels attached) . They had ac which was nice but we got a little cold at night and could have used a little heat but they have a couple blankets in the closet . It's an affiliate of our time share so we didn't have to pay per night we used points .. but why is there a resort fee of $17 a day .... for the pool and game room the front desk reports ... every resort in our time share has a pool and game room .. that's ridiculous.. The toilet was clogged on our first attempt to use the restroom upon arrival, but it worked after holding the handle down .. we later had to call Maintenance for the same issue later in our stay .. ( they were very quick to respond ) . They need larger trash cans in unit .. we had trash sitting outside overnight when they were supposed to pick it up but they did apologize and pick it up pretty quickly after try second call . They were amazing at rsvp for pool time and social distancing each family and the pool staff was great at directing people out of the pool to put on their masks ! The game room was always available for my boys to play .. however I was a little disappointed that everything closed at 7pm .. wasn't late enough for us to enjoy game room after dinner or even get in the pool more than once a day . It's a great hiking trail right on the back of this location which was great for a little morning exercise . They had a texting number but the response time was very delayed like hours.. The bed in the room was so small, in comparison to other resorts felt like a full, but very comfy and clean . I wouldn't go back just because of The bugs and closing time for everything being so early, But it was a fair experience. read more

Place was very clean! Nice size refrigerator with a full size dishwasher in the small kitchen area. Outside the individual units look small. However, due to the vaulted ceilings, the unit had a rather spacious feel in the living room and bedroom. My only suggestion is that they replace the current flat screen tv's with tv's with a higher resolution. With the cost of tv's today, it would be a modestly priced improvement. The activity with coffee and baked goods was very modest also. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much. read more

I had all the intention to stay at this property unless I had to cancel my trip. Unfortunately, I got COVID and tried to cancel my reservation 5 days before the check in date. The person I spoke to on Orbitz said that I would have to wait 3 days from someone at the property to get back to me. NOT A SINGLE CALL OR EMAIL was received from anyone. Comes Thursday, one day before check in and I contacted Orbitz and was told I'm out of luck. I guess they don't care if their guests have COVID and pass it around to the other guests staying there. No one from Orbitz nor the property knows customer service and wanted to help me. Also, they charged me twice on the same day. One charge was before the check in time and the other was hours later when I called to see if anyone could help me with my situation. read more

We have a generous sized tiny home with a separate living room/kitchen. The bed was very comfortable!!! And you have your own little porch They also provide coffee/tea and plenty of toiletries. THIS IS A TIME SHARE!!!! IT IS NOT A HOTEL, MOTEL, HOLIDAY INN!!! The staff is not your normal cleaning service, there isn't any room service and no one but you is responsible to make your meals. I have been coming here for almost 20 years. My initial reaction, was like so many others "trailers!" However, originally when coming, I was bringing young children. Having a semi private patio and no one sharing walls made it easier for us and them. The location is well located and the grounds beautiful. The Napa river walk is on the east side of the grounds. The walk is nice. Yes, there are a few homeless people living along the river bed, but that has been that way for years. O have never had an issue with them. My opinion, they are a result of current thinking and not the fault of River Pointe. Admittedly, some of the trailers are showing their age; some bumps and bruises that shouldn't be unnoticed by staff, but truly, this a is a great location for Napa. They may make space available for non-timeshare owners and if so, you should stay here. They bring wineries in to showcase their wine; one of my favorites is the Perez Family Winery which is a boutique winery. Cio Perez will spend time with you talking wine, Napa and dirt that makes a great tasting wine. Amenities have been discussed in other reviews, the pool, pool table upstairs, morning coffee and so on. Wi-Fi is better, but Verizon cell service isn't great. My chief complaint had always been the on-site laundry facility. While free, there just aren't machines. I look forward to coming here each year. As long as the management keeps it clean, orderly and the staff attends to the property as they should, you really won't be disappointed in your stay. Came to Napa for a quick get away with the family. This place was an unexpected gem! Very clean unit, grounds, and amenities. There is a normal hotel and then also separate bungalows available too. They are re-purposed trailers and better than some bay area apartments that are offered for people to live in these days! We stayed in the cute little bungalows which are trailers that happen to be parked with full electrical, plumbing, and air conditioning. We were right along the creek and you could hear the crickets chirping and the water running by... but you could also hear any one that walked the path (every step, scrape, cough, cackle, etc) and your neighbors talking far too loudly at 7am on their mobile phone on their porch... so sound although stated as designated quiet times are not enforced/patrolled. The units are perfectly spacious and better than some hotels I have stayed in with 4+ stars! LOL They are a little shaky as there is no foundation poured beneath the trailers but if you wanted the solid hotel experience or are high maintenance than you should not stay in the bungalows. They have a hotel option too, so self-asses and make the right choice for everyone. WORDS OF WISDOM 1. Drive slowly around the premises and the surrounding streets outside the property too as there are wildlife and we saw Bambi get hit crossing the street by a car that was likely on their mobile phone as the deer came out at a slow pace and the car had plenty of time to stop or even just brake and did neither. 2. It is luck of the draw who you are booking with so you may not have courteous and polite neighbors. Some people did not pass the home training down to their children either so kids running wild and having a good kiddie time could be on the menu, if you are looking for a guaranteed quiet retreat I would not recommend staying here 3. Leave your extended cab truck at home or ask for a unit with a larger parking spot if available. The parking for each unit is not set up for even some sedans and if you have 2 cars than one has to be parked in the guest areas.. the one near the front by the pool is okay, but there seems to be another overflow guest parking in the back that looks sketchy, no lighting, and what seemed to be a broken down truck - DANGER DANGER! read more

Before tiny homes were a thing, River Pointe Napa Valley already had them. I have family who had considered this a place to live, because one can be a permanent resident in their tiny homes rather than just go for a brief vacation. The tiny homes have small, clean kitchenettes. There's hiking nearby, so one can walk along the Napa River. They have a sauna, jacuzzi&swimming pool, as well as a very spartan gym. They have friendly, attentive, helpful staff. Their clubhouse is well-maintained. I once attended a Christmas party at the clubhouse&they were very accommodating, since the food was cooked off-site. They made a challenging situation easier. It gets points for cleanliness. They get all decked out for the holidays. Pros- Clean, accessible, with plenty of facilities. Helpful staff. Cons- The parking can be tricky, and there are homeless&garbage issues (tho not on the property itself) A charming village of tiny homes. read more

Pros: -The location of the resort is VERY conveniently located. Adjacent to the Silverado Trail, near Wal-Mart for any food or other needs, and 2 miles from Route 29. It is on the upper half of the town of Napa. We felt this was one of the better locations to get to all the wineries and restaurants that we wanted to visit. -If you reserve a 2 bedroom, I appreciated that it was separated from the other trailer - using a studio and 1 BR to accommodate a 2 BR reservation. That worked out perfectly for my other family member to have some privacy for themselves both for bedroom and bathroom purposes. We were able to give him a key to our side, and vice versa, so that he could use the kitchen and sitting area , if needed. -The resort had its own designated parking spot for each trailer, which was nice. You knew where you parked every time and it was conveniently outside your door step. Cons: -Hot Water in Shower was inconsistent. Fortunately, we had hot water for most of the week, but the last day and night we had none. I didn't bother complaining because we were leaving anyway. -Breakfast on Mondays only. This breakfast is NOT well organized. It was like a hurtle of cattle trying to get a few donuts, hard boiled eggs and bagels. They either need to start it earlier and have more food items. I guess maybe because they do not have a kitchen onsite this is more of a way to gather all guests in one location as a 'welcome' / intro to the resort. -Wi-Fi: What Wi-Fi? Didn't work at all. Terrible reception in this area, but parts of Napa does not have reception. However, they should take care of their guests. -Rooms: The rooms were overall clean. However, I don't appreciate hair on my sinks and showers upon arrival. Did they really clean the room? -$11 daily fee I think this is slightly overpriced because the Wi-Fi doesn't work, breakfast was NOT great and it was only for a day, didn't receive daily cleaning services, etc. Overall, I would stay here again, even though I listed more Cons than Pros. The location you can't beat, they definitely have room for improvement. However, the rest of the resort (trailer) was decent. We were never coming to Napa to sit in our place all day so we really were only there to come home at the end of the night after dinner and the hour spent getting ready in the morning. Its not a resort to have a stay-cation, but more or less a convenient place to stay while touring wineries and dining in the Napa Valley. read more

For the price we paid, we were expecting something decent. This place was a total disappointment. It was basically a trailer park. You get your own "cottage" but really it is a small mobile home (I am not exaggerating). The floor of the living room shook if someone walked around the home. The bedroom was tiny, it basically just fit one queen bed and a desk. I will never stay here again and I would not recommend it to anyone I know. read more
