    Pina Colada Sangria

I love Sangria and the Pina Colada Sangria did not disappoint! Delicious! The fresh bread with dipping oil and red pepper flakes was tasty, as well. I decided on the Eggplant Parmigiana with Penne and it was very good. I love that you can choose your pasta, and that it came out hot and tasty. My friends' choices all looked yummy, too, from the pizzas to the salads (especially the Caprese salad)!Nice spacious restaurant and our waitress was very nice, helpful, and knowledgeable with the menu. Our food did take pretty long to come out, so be prepared to possibly wait. But, it was hot which always makes me happy :0) In the area? Check Them Out!

Beautiful restaurant and the food was delicious. Not your typical American Italian but real Italian Italian. The service was very friendly and the food was delicious and the wine paired well

I had a wonderful experience at Vino Italian Bistro! Kira was absolutely amazing. She was attentive to our needs from the moment we sat down, made excellent recommendations, and was incredibly friendly, professional, and courteous throughout our meal. Her exceptional service truly made our dining experience even better. The food was delicious as well--I had the lasagna, and it was the perfect choice. I highly recommend both the restaurant and asking for Kira if you have the chance! The restaurant decor was top tier as well! Very clean and just worthy.

Fantastic Mother's Day with the family. This new spot is hot and ready to indulge you with wonderful Italian cuisine. The veal on the Bone is amazing! The wine selection is very robust. Very clean and comforting environment. Everything everyone ordered was absolutely delicious. You're missing out if you don't visit this North Suffolk establishment. Antonia was very down to earth and knowledgeable about the restaurant. You're awesome Antonia! Thank you and the staff for making today special. Definitely coming back soon! Love it!

The restaurant is in a good location and has nice decor. The windows during the afternoon are a bit blinding. They need to install blinds or roller shades as the light disturbed most of the customers. My waitress was very nice and tried really hard to help us when we had some issues. Considering we did have some issues, I was surprised we never saw a manager. The issue was fully taken care of by the waitress though. On to the food, my son had a tortellini carbonara. He said it was wonderful, and it looked very appetizing. I ordered the carpaccio, but the plastic packaging was left on my appetizer plate. The carpaccio itself was very tasty. I also ordered the Margherita pizza. I was extremely shocked at their version of a margarita pizza. It has no sauce, only cheese, olive oil, unripe tomatoes, and little strips of basil. I'm surprised the chef allowed the dish to leave the kitchen. I would not recommend their Margherita pizza as it was tasteless and had unripe tomatoes, as is shown in the picture. My waitress, as I mentioned, was very helpful, and she did offer me another selection on the menu. I tried their Veal Portifino, and we discussed that I did not want the pasta with it, yet the dish came out on top of pasta. This was also fixed. I am giving this restaurant four stars, hoping that some of these issues are due to them being a new restaurant. The flavor of the veal Portofino and my son's pasta makes me believe that the four stars are warranted. I hope this honest review helps this restaurant improve and grow.

The restaurant was very clean and beautiful upon entry. Our waitress said she had been with the company a long time, and she was knowledgeable and so sweet/bubbly! We had several appetizers, my favorite was the shrimp scampi with risotto. We had Buffalo cheese ravioli- wow the sauce with the roasted red peppers was amazing, I could drink it. We had chicken parm and it was nicely fried with a homemade tomato sauce. My chicken Marsala was a very light and had liquid sauce, I'm used to more of a gravy, so this may be a preference! The restaurant offers small portions for dishes which is great! We also got the cheese cake, crème brûlée and tiramisu- decadent desserts. We had a big sampling of the menu. The prices were fair for the volume and quality of the ingredients. Thanks for coming to Suffolk!

Entry is located just off the main lobby, bar seating, indoor and outdoor with water view as well. Quickly seated and grabbed the artichoke Florentine fonduta and scallop Caprese for appetizers which were delicious! Wine selection is decent along with cocktails and a handful of beers. For the mains we grabbed a New Yorker Pizza, bolognese and the truffle (longest name ever) pasta in which we added scallops. All were a hit. Finished with the hot honey peach cheesecake and lemoncello cake. Cheesecake a little heavy and sweet after a large meal, yet still awesome. The lemoncello hit the spot perfectly, light and perfect! If in the area and don't mind a hotel venue for a quick meal. Check this one out. Be mindful though, I have heard it can book out for events and not be available from time to time so always best to call and save time should the stars align and thus occur when giving this location a shot! This spot definitely got a nice date night vibe to it. Darkly lit. Super chill hostess but limited seating. There are maybe 6 to 8 tables total including a L shape bar that you can pull up to which is exactly where we sat. The bartender was really on point the night we visited. Immediately took our order, gave us a quick perusal of the drinks, and then promptly poured three different types of spirits, a wine for my first brother, a vodka and cranberry for my second and a whiskey flight that they had on the special for myself. We enjoyed all three. In terms of food, we ordered a couple of different appetizers, including the pizza. And I actually was hoping we were going to order dinner because all of the entrees that we saw hit the bar around us looked fantastic. We ended up connecting with a really cool local business owner by the name of Sonny, who is also at the bar having a bit of dinner before heading back to his Shop. That made the overall night even better. This is definitely a spotI will be checking out when I'm back in town.

The first time, I celebrated my birthday and ordered a pasta dish that was just okay, so I wasn't sure what to expect coming back. But the pizzas? Totally worth it. They offer two pizza sizes, 10" and 14", with the option to choose a regular crust or cauliflower crust for an additional cost. Toppings are also extra depending on the size. This time, I got the Bianca pizza with cauliflower crust and added meatball, and it was SO good. I also had a bite of my boyfriend's Amici's pizza, and honestly, I think that one might be my favorite of the two! They also have a good selection of wine, beer, and cocktails. I tried the Watermelon Basil Sparkler, which was incredibly refreshing. It was a limited-time drink, but it was such a perfect summer cocktail! The restaurant is on the smaller side and it did feel a little warm inside during our visit. They have bar seating and outdoor seating, though, which gives you a few options. They also have really good service especially the bartenders. Overall, I'm really glad we came back because the pizza completely changed my opinion of this place. I don't like that they tore down the detached Carriage House that was also on the property. The House is beautiful and unique with history. I am perennially disappointed with the golf course and I have been to only one function in the House since it was restored. The food was nothing remarkable and the service was even more non-descript. I don't know what they charge for functions there, but I thought that maybe they would have improved the surroundings a bit more to accommodate the status of the Obici House, the surrounding out buildings, clubhouse, 18th hole and driving range. It looks like they did the bare minimum to the house. I don't want to tarnish this review too much since I haven't been there for an official event within the last year. I noticed that they are having an open house soon and I plan to check it out and update my review. I would recommend that if the price seems to high for your event, then pass on Obici House until you start seeing better reviews on the service and food.
