Love this salon, my new go to! I work in a large company within walking distance, many of our staff goes there. Anna has been doing Dips on my nails for about 5 months now, she is an excellent technician. Normally my nails last for 3 weeks December 20, I have been going to Vino nail bar For the past year, after going to somebody for 12 years. The salon is close to work, they have a very nice selection of gels and dips.Sonny, I believe makes the appointments and keep the place running is lovely , my technician Anna is awesome, even if you have an appointment and they're running behind because of another customer somebody else will wrap your nails. Absolutely worst ever. Unprofessional and disrespectful. If you are a person of color, please avoid this place, they will ill-treat you and will show all the respect and courtesy to white people around at the same time. I was asked to leave since they were running late for the next appointment (apparently of the white girls who were after my slot) They denied service because the next appointment for them was way more important.. common its a nail bar and not an emergency ward,the next appointment could have waited for a few extra minutes. Do not go there. I called right when they opened at 10am to get an appointment for 3. A man, I'm assuming the owner, answered and said no problem for a few hours later appointment for us. We went and sat there for a while not being attended to and it took way longer than we had time for because there were only 2 workers. I get being unstaffed sure, but do not tell a customer on the phone there will be 3 techs when there won't be. And the entire time I sat there in the water they kept saying owner will be here any minute. He didn't end up getting there for 2 hours and said sorry traffic. I have tried this salon many times over the past few years and each time I leave dissatisfied. Between snarky comments from the staff and acting annoyed that they are so busy, my most recent visit was my final one. I was having gel polish removed and replaced and the owner started with dip. I told him right away that it is not usually how gel is applied and he said "I know what you want and this is the color." When the dip application started, I repeated that I wanted gel and didn't like dip, that I had tried it before. He insisted I would prefer this application. I was so annoyed and just wanted to get out of there, so I moved forward. I regret now that I didn't insist he start over. There are no prices posted and he charged me $50 for the dip and I asked, what is the price for gel? After thinking about it, he said $45 - I asked for the $5 back. My girls were with me and each got express pedicures - no massage, etc. He charged me $40 for each of their services. I will never go back - terrible service, pushy and underhanded with the pricing not being transparent. The woman who did the kids pedicures actually said to them, "now I can't take a break before my next customer because I did your nails." If you don't have time, tell someone to come back. We had a bridal party here for 7 people with all the girls overly ecstatic with their nails looking fantastic as ever. Not only was this place fun and friendly, clean and beautiful. Who can complain about FREE Mimosas it's going to be a bit before we can come back, wedding is a one time thing, but guess what? I go here every 3 weeks for a powder dip mani and every other visit I also get a pedicure. I've been to many nail salons in the area, and am very happy with my results. My nails used to be so thin and weak and with the care they give, I've been able to grow longer and stronger nails. I've now been with them for 5 years and look forward to each visit. The the pedicures, try upgrading to a spa or exotic spa...WHOA. It's extra $, but so worth the splurge every now and then. Lots more massaging and total relaxation. Seriously one of the cleanest and nicest nail salons around. The staff there is so helpful, especially the manager, and you can tell they genuinely want their patrons to be happy with their nails. They offer free beverages while you get your nails done, including wine. Any time I've had an issue where my nails broke or chipped soon after getting them done, they always offered a solution and either didn't charge me or charged me less than normal to get them fixed. I see some other reviews complaining about the price. I will say that this is the only reason I didn't give them 5 stars. The prices are slightly steeper than other salons in the area ($42 for powder and $30 for gel), but I feel like you pay higher prices to go to a place that is clean and offers alcohol. I will say that I don't feel as though my nails last any longer than going elsewhere, but I have never not had a positive experience here. read more

I was in PA for work for several weeks and stopped by to get my nails since this was across the parking lot from my hotel. I get SNS (dip) nails and gel pedicures. My nails were so-so. They started lifting after about a week because they weren't filed well around the cuticles, and one nail had a pretty significant lump/wave in it- not even at all. The last two times I have visited and got the same guy. The first time I asked for a pedicure. I was wearing a dress so the woman at the front desk gave my a towel to drape over my legs. Then an older man sat down to give me my pedicure. I asked him to not use the scrubber on my feet due to being very ticklish. He said, "okay honey" and told me that he would make me feel "nice." I ignored the comment and went back to my phone. Then he made another comment about how pretty I was. At this time, I felt uncomfortable but decided to let it go due to the pedicure being almost over. I went back a week later for a manicure and was hoping not to get this same man but as luck would have it, I got him again. I considered asking for someone else but thought I didnt want to be a trouble especially since this time was just a manicure. I should have gone with my gut though. While I was looking at the colors, he came over to talk to me. I told him I would be over and I just needed to find a color to try to get him to leave me be. When I sat down, he asked if I wanted sqaure or round. I told him I wanted sqaure with round edges. I also asked him to clip my nails down because they were very long. He then started filing my nails down. I asked him again to clip them. He told me I didn't need them clipped and he could file them. This was upsetting because it 1. It took longer then just clipping them 2. He was sawing them down to get them short which is damaging to the nail. After he filed my first nail down he showed it to me and said "see! You dont need clip. I make them nice honey." I asked him again to clip them because my nails were long. He then filed the second nail down and said, "you will like them." I then reminded him that I didnt want round nails since both nails he had filed down were round. He then got upset and said, "What do you want honey? Round or square?" I repeated, "Sqaure please. And can you please clip them vs filing?" He then took out the clippers and proceeded to tell me that I didnt know what I wanted. He asked me again if I wanted sqaure or round. At this point, other customers had started to look at me given his tone. I told him again I wanted square. He says to me, "Can I get you some glasses, honey, so you can see?" It was finally at this point that I got and told him that he had been rude since I arrived. I told him I was leaving. This is when the other woman who was working on a customer next to me finally spoke up and asked me if someone else could help me. I said no thank you and left. Women be warned! This man should not be allowed to work with customers. He was creepy and condescending. He told me what I wanted vs listening and continued to call me honey. He then became rude and flat out ignorant when I asked him to clip my nails vs doing what he wanted. I will never go back here. read more

I am in town with my husband on his business trip. We are staying at a hotel when I noticed the nail bar across the parking lot. Made an appt and walked over. Greeted at the door by a great customer service person. Friendly out going wanting to help me be relaxed. They did not have the color I had in my mind but they worked hard to find a very close match. They did great it is very close. Had a pedicure which was out of this world great! Very relaxing. Got a new set of acrylics w gel polish. The technician listened to how I wanted them shaped and length etc. Also had my eye brows done. Very relaxing even though it ouches! Would for sure sure go back if I lived closer! read more

The whole salon was clean and organized, with products being sanitized and put away when they were done being used. I got a gel manicure and regular polish pedicure, with the total being $60. When picking out colors, I was struggling to find a color match for my gel and regular polish. However, one of the workers asked what color I wanted, and pulled a color match that had already been set up. Both gel and regular polish! My pedicure and manicure are very neat around the edges, and they even fixed one nail when I stupidly messed up my one toe nail! 10/10 recommend it for anyone in the Malvern area! read more

Ruined my nails! I have been getting my nails done for years, but just started going here after my favorite salon changed owners. My cuticles were so roughly treated they started bleeding on two fingers when I got home. The technician used an electric file to remove my gel polish instead of remover and filed so deeply that my nails are now incredibly thin. It was my first time here. I got a spa pedicure and the dip nails. The pedicure was out of this world, just when you think it has to be over, no there's more! Background-getting my nails done for my bridal shower and scoping out the place for potential place to get my bridal party nails done before my wedding in December. The lady brought me back to get a pedicure and then left me there for FIFTEEN minutes and the water got very cold so I had to take my feet out. She was curt and rude. Then, and here's my biggest issue, when I went to pay I was told I could only tip in cash. THIS IS ILLEGAL. My uncle is an IRS agent and told me a long time ago if a place tells you they only take cash tips, it's illegal and most likely a scam because these cash tips are not reported in tax returns. When I told the lady at the desk she immediately was like no no I can add it to the card that's totally fine, changing her whole story. The nail salon on Swedesford rd in Berwyn use to do that and then they tried it on a lawyer supposedly and got caught, now you can add the tip with your card at the end. Look, I know people need to make money and cash tips are easier and then you don't need to pay the credit card fees that come with me using a card, but don't then try to make me use an ATM machine that charges me almost 5 dollars to make a withdrawal. The reason I gave even one star was because she did do a good job on the pedicure, they do look very good. The manicure on the other hand was horrible and they are already peeling off not even a week later. Avoid this place if possible!!!! read more

The first time I went, I had a good service although they didn't offer me wine (one of the main reasons I tried out this place) I got the gel manicure and it lasted a long time. The second time I went I brought my mom with me and then they offered us wine. We got both manis and pedis but they didn't look great and they chipped after just one week! I have been putting off leaving this review because it is a bit embarassing for me, but the truth needs to be heard and future customers need to be warned so they do not have to go through this as well. I have been getting pedicures for years and never had a problem like this before but when I started coming to this place I noticed a problem. After my 3rd pedicure in a row here I realized that a small black dot was forming under my toenail. I thought nothing of it until after my next pedicure when I removed the polish myself and was horrifyed by what I saw. BOTH my big toes started growing some kind of fungus. I thought maybe there was something wrong with me but when I asked my friend who had joined me in getting the pedicures here her toes were starting to grow fungus and become discolored too! In addition to that she told me she had a horrible ingrown toenail infection after we had gone here. The women here are very nice and it looks very fancy but wow, looks sure can be decieving! This was most likely caused by unsanitary practices and the employees not properly sanitizing the tools they use. Someone must have had fungus and they did not clean the tools or foot tub after, so gross!!! My nails are progressively getting worse and from my research it seems as though this can take months or even years to go away. Horrible. Please avoid this place to avoid this happening to you. read more
