First off, we didn't buy our tile from them because we found a fantastic deal at Lowe's, but they were willing to install the tile anyways--not every flooring place is willing to do that. Trust me, we shopped around for labor quotes and got told several times that we had to buy the tile from a flooring company or they wouldn't install it. Floor Barn was great and willing to work with us. They didn't have the cheapest quote, but they were local and had great reviews, so we decided to give them a shot. We are so glad we did! Don and the team are all true professionals. Of the four contractors we had working in the house, Floor Barn was the only one that we didn't have a single issue with. He answered all of my questions. Picking the flooring was painless... I went with tile, new carpeting and new baseboards. The next step was Mike coming to my house and taking measurements and walking through the current flooring. This was a quick process, and he wrote the cost sheet up. In my opinion, the pricing was fair and I paid the required half up front. The job was quoted at 3 days but took more like 11 days. The crew was ran by Terrance Brooks. One thing I will say is important is who is in your home. You will be spending a lot of time with the contractors. Terrance and his crew were punctual and communicated with me well the time they were here. I had a great experience with DFW Flooring and Mike Spitzbeg! They really took the time to listen to my needs and provided a personalized, thoughtful approach.
