We held our mother's 70th birthday celebration at Vintage House. I can only express my best thanks for an excellent job. The food was well seasoned and everyone enjoyed the entree's and the entire spread. The lead for our event, Tracey, provided a seamless, professional and all around excellent service. DO NOT GO HERE. STAY AWAY. This is a wedding mill they push you in for an hour and then send you on your way taking thousands of dollars from you in the process. If that weren't bad enough they provided an officiant that RUINED OUR WEDDING. The officiant, a man, entered my Wife's dressing room and told her she had three minutes and that we are going to start on time. She had a problem with her dress not being able to button. Then when the three minutes passed he started yelling that "we are now late. guests are waiting." He was told to leave the women dressing room and he did nothing. When my wife's mom and Grandma yelled at him to leave he left. He wasn't done. He threatened to leave, started swearing, said they could have booked someone else all in front of the wedding party waiting to enter the chapel. He did all of this in front of a wedding planner for vintage house and another worker who SAID NOTHING AND DID NOTHING. Meanwhile I stood at the alter for an extended period of time and I began to worry there was something wrong. My wife walked down the isle and I could tell something was wrong. He began screaming our wedding vows. After the ceremony my wife let me know what happened.IF YOU THINK ABOUT BOOKING YOUR WEDDING AT VINTAGE HOUSE THINK ABOUT THIS BEING YOUR WEDDING MEMORY. This should have been the only issue but it isn't. We started taking pictures. We went over time. I work at a wedding venue in Atlanta. Almost all weddings go over time. What does not happen is your venue threatens to serve food with or without you. That is unacceptable. Another issue. I told the venue three times that because of some health issues I had decided to become a vegan. They said they could accommodate me and added it to my booking. Day of the wedding a server comes up to me and asks what I would like to eat. I said I have a vegan plate. The waitress said it's not in my booking. So I was served a plate of steamed vegetables instead of a pasta dish. Another issue. Our head table was incredibly tight and was too close to a wall. Another issue. None of the staff including the owner ,Anthony, have been able to take responsibility for their mistakes and actions. We were told: The dressing room a male officiant entered "Not technically a dressing room", the officiant yelling about being late " you were warned about starting on time", the food being served with or without us "we didn't want our food quality to suffer", missing vegan plate "we couldn't name the people we told about the vegan plate", head table was too small "you should have known it was going to be that tight". Apart from all of the issues this business including the owner, Anthony, cannot take responsibility for their mistakes. Mistakes happen but this venue will make mistakes and then blame you and that should let any future customers know what to expect. I sincerely write this review because I don't want any future couples to have memories of their wedding like this. My wife and I have already thrown one party in Atlanta to make up for that day and we plan on having another ceremony to make up for these horrible memories we can never change. Also note the owner tried to pay me off to remove my review. When that didn't work he deleted one of his Facebook accounts and then he deleted my review from his main account. Had a funeral luncheon there in December and everything was fine until they overcharged us. We had given them a count of 75 and were told the funeral director would call in a count. We specifically asked if they would knock some off of the number the funeral director called in and was told they would (it was a Friday, the week before Christmas so we knew some people would not come to the luncheon). Funeral director called in 105 and we were charged for 105 and only had about 72 people there. They screwed us big time and have all kinds of lies to try to cover for their mistakes. We will never ever go to Vintage House again. read more

Went for Easter Brunch - kept running out of plates, food. Had to wait in line while they tried to restock. Never seen any chicken. Got tired of waiting and just bypassed a lot of empty trays. Make sure you read the fine print about tax, service charge, etc. Never again. read more

Let me start by saying....if you plan on having your wedding here, DON'T!!! I wen't to a wedding there last night and I will never set foot in that place again!!! The poor bride must have been so embarressed. Here's why.... First of all the place is a dump! Def nees some updating!! The food was okay. Chicken was dry, they offered 2 types of potatoes that where pretty good. And everything else was average. The service was horrible! Bartenders rude...very rude! Anytime anyone asked for somthing the answer they received was I can't do that or we don't do that. The staff was all around trashy and un helpful. They even made the bride come to the hall an hour before the wedding to set up her favors...because they don't do that....Nice! Now this is the biggest disappointment of all! Someone had accidentally dropped a glass in the men's room. The staff was notified about this several times.....but as stated before no one did anything about it ! Well needless to say some one slipped and pulled down the papper towel rack. The next thing you know the staff That was so unhelpful was taking pictures of the bathroom! Then they shut down the bar, and went and told the bride she had 5 minutes to exit the property!!!!! When guest asked why the bar was shut down the bartender replied "because you'r all a bunch of a** holes! Are you kidding me! First of all this was a very great crowd of people. Everything was enjoying them selfs ...besides for the lazy staff! Then to go to the bride!!! Because of a bathroom ....that they didn't clean and shut down the wedding!! That ruined her whole night she was crying and so upset.. Finally a manager of some sorts was called in from home....once she arrived the bar was opened back up and the reception was back on. Was that really necessary??? Nothing like ruining a wedding! I felt so bad for her! I guess the bartender is getting fired...but who cares! The most important day of their lives was ruined! They can never get that back! How sad! I know vintage house is on the cheaper side but pay the extra 5$pp to ensure yur reception isn't destroyed!! read more

We recently had a fundraiser at Vintage House and it was great thanks to the owner AnthonyJekielek and his staff. The food was delicious and the staff was very attentive. The owner was extremely generous and took excellent care of us.. I would recommend the Vintage House for your next event. read more

Wanted to try something different for Friday night dinner during lent, just two of us. Got seated and we were the 6th table of the night at this time, hostess gave us water, 5 tables seated after us and a waitress greeted them all parties of 3 or more, still no waitress greeted us while everyone got a drink order. Waited for a total of 10 minutes before getting up and leaving. No one even noticed or said anything. Thank you for the wonderful new dining experience at a Friday fish fry. read more

I used this venue for a Bridal Shower. Good location. However, they only give you one hour prior to the start of the event to come in and decorate...didn't like that at all.....I had to recruit many people to come and help. When we got there to set up, the tables were all set but none of the chairs had been set out around the tables. I kept waiting for someone to come and do that. This is what I paid a huge SERVICE FEE for. Finally, the two dads set them out themselves. Also, didn't care for the chicken. Would not use this venue again. read more

Vintage house RUINED my wedding! And on top of that, the owner tried to pay me to shut my mouth and take down my reviews! Completely crooked! Their officiant (who is a man) came into my bridal room uninvited and unannounced and YELLED at me MINUTES before walking down the aisle because I was THREE minutes late!!! I asked him to leave and he refused and continued to yell at me. I was so upset by this that I ended up crying right before the ceremony. He finally left and he said "I don't need to do this damn wedding" right in front of my groomsmen who were standing outside the door. And this HORRIBLE man had to marry me! I couldn't even think about anything else for the rest of the day. Making a bride cry right before her wedding is absolutely heartless. And there was no wedding after mine! So there was NO reason to rush me like that! And a MAN coming into a WOMANS dressing room?! Disgusting! Also, my husband is vegan and we told them 3 times to have a separate plate for him. They assured me he would. But of course that didn't happen. So he had to wait for his food. Our head table was so small that one of my groomsmen had to sit sideways in order to eat. They also had the nerve to rush us with our food being served. We were still outside taking pictures and they were bugging my dad to serve the food. Sorry, but NO wedding is ever on time! The amount of stress they put on timing is ridiculous. For a place that does weddings, they clearly have NO idea what they are doing. And the staff and OWNER took NO responsibility for what happened. They could care less! They got my money and that's all they care about. Please, don't deal with the nightmare that I did. RUN, don't walk from vintage house!!!!!!!!! read more
