Sad to report that this boutique owner does not pay her vendors. We met when she ordered from my wholesale account on Faire.com - after she had some issues with Faire, I made allowances and helped her to switch items outside the platform. Big mistake! After that she saw an item I had posted on Facebook and requested a wholesale order be custom made to her specifications. Upon receipt she gave positive reviews: months later after not receiving payment, I reached out. She mentioned that they had not sold well and I politely reminded her that these items were made to her specifications and that their selling is her sole responsibility, like any other wholesale account. I paid out materials and labors for manufacturing what is essentially her design, and she has yet to pay. She stopped responding months ago - I have screen shots of the entire exchange. Such a great little boutique feel to this resale/consignment shop! Doesn't smell like you walked in to Grandma's closet.... great selection of contemporary brands (J.Crew, Express, Banana Republic, even Anthropologie!) mixed in with more eclectic unique items, too! I'm definitely a fan of Vintage Love! I stopped in about a month ago and found the coolest angel wing necklace that I get a ton of compliments on as well as a chevron tunic. I just consigned a few items today and I like to come by frequently to see what's new . Vintage Love is a cute boutique in Avon, super super small. Literally a 12x14 space. But an ok selection of clothing. Parking lot was weird, it was this huge space with no lines in front of multiple businesses. I went there to sell some items on consignment - including Banana Republic clothing, an on trend/season appropriate NY&Co skirt with the tags still on it, and a designer beaded Sue Wong dress to name a few - and the woman there was not able to help me. She took my clothes and info but said the owner had to call me. She asked if I had a price I would like to sell my items at but I said I trusted the owners discretion. No one called me for nearly a week. I had no idea if my clothes were sold or not used at all. I finally called on my own and the owner answered. She wasn't even at the store and did not recall my clothes. She said she "had to much stock to look at" and would look at my things later and call me back. She phone me later that day and said she couldn't take anything because her store was to small. But the way she talked to me and about the items I wasn't sure she even bothered to look at them. They don't do only resale/vintage clothes, they are now marketing Stella and Dot truck shows. Nothing resale or budget friendly about that. I wouldn't completely avoid the place, but try other REAL vintage shops first (i.e.: Future no Future in Lakewood). read more

Best consignment shop in the area! The owner stayed late to meet me so she could personally oversee my consignment items and was delighted that she explained what would sell and why. No nonsense approach to fashion! Most of my items sold and some for more than I thought I would get for them!! I used my credit to get a gorgeous Prada bag!!!
