However, when I asked if they could resurface my disc, the girl at the counter said, "no not really." Like what kind of response was that... so either she didn't know how to do it or was too lazy to. So to start I had a terrible experience I am in Norman Oklahoma saw that the store in liberty had the last game I needed for my Dreamcast so I was ecstatic so I called a woman picked up I asked to confirm they had the game she said yes I have it in my hand I said great can you hold it I will be coming 5 hours from Oklahoma to buy this she said no problem put it on hold. That evening I show up ask for my game on hold the manager could not find it and then got the employee I talked to she said after looking at it I found it was to damaged and can't sell it to you. So I wasted 5 hours for nothing instead of calling me to let me know this. I still tried to buy it as is because in Oklahoma we have professional resurfacing machines at our vintage stocks so I was gonna get it fixed but she would not have it. Retro alert! Lots and lots of used records, game cartridges, figures and vintage toys. New stuff too that was humorous to see. Son came here looking for baseball cards. Not a big selection and the ones they had were higher priced than other places. So, we left empty handed, but I personally took a little trip down memory lane! read more

Vintage Stock at Liberty had a clearly marked sale, 4 used products up to $9.99 for $30, but they indicated that the sale is poorly worded and since they weren't all 'the same' price, it doesn't let you use the sale. Instead of a total closer to $30 plus tax, it came to $39.50, because they refused to honor the sale price. I questioned it, and pointed out it said 'up to' 9.99, but it made no difference. They do not honor their store sales, so it is false advertising (and what is essentially petty theft since they don't let you get a refund, only store credit). Unfortunately, I can't in good conscience rate a business that has practices like this very highly at all. read more

definitely the WORST vintage stock location to visit. me and my boyfriend were looking for a Rock Band guitar for Wii. when we called the first time, they said they had the guitar but no dongle for it, so they would mark the guitar down to half price. cool! we can find a single somewhere else. when my boyfriend went in, the lady that helped him was EXTREMELY rude and said she couldn't honor the price even though the guitar was held for us at that price from who we spoke to. we also looked at a drum set and the lady thought she knew EVERYTHING so much more than us, and come to find out the rock band drum set was in the WRONG BOX and labeled WRONG so anyone could've bought it and gotten home and found out they tricked them! after this i went in by myself and they said they still had the guitar but now they DO have a dongle and can't do half price... strange that they didn't have the dongle when we called but in a matter of a couple days they got one? weird. after explaining the situation the girl sold me the guitar half price. we come home and the guitar doesn't work with 3 different dongles we had to buy off amazon. so we search and search, and when we go to the zona rosa location we found out they SOLD US A GUITAR FOR PLAY STATION AND NOT WII. all this location cares about is sales and they are not helpful whatsoever. they obviously don't care about customer service and are comfortable LYING to people to make money. it's worth the drive to go to a different store. read more

Extremely bad service! I wished they let me see the prices of each game I was selling but nope... I'm not sure what was worse the return value of games or the attitude on this one staff member/owner? Are you really that lazy to take off games that I don't want to sell to you for 10 cents? or even 25 cents? It's very sneaky that I can't even see how much you are paying for it in the first place. I almost wanted to keep them all because of this awful experience and I don't plan on coming back here ever again. What am I suppose to do with 6 dollars anyways if I sell 10 games for 1 dollar total? I rather keep it to sell it on my own because I was happy to see I got some awesome games back that weren't sold for cheap! However it is extremely easy to sell games here no problem or questions asked I got a hundred dollars although they were ofcourse mainly the better edition of games (Wii,GameCube). Make sure you don't sell you're awesome games for cheap at this place like I avoided, your better off selling it on your own. Very abusive store and high management making my years of visiting the store uncomfortable and a waste of time. First: Did some research found my old items all together at half price, pre-owned to be around 120 dollars. Vintage stock gave me the option of 80 in store credit or 50 in cash. The stereotype is true with this particular store. The trading of items at this store is a very abusive process that high management forces down your throat. Second: The manager of this store is very narcissistic and controlling to the customers and especially the poor employees that do not deserve it. Third: The return policy for this store is very abusive. They can trap you by selling you a cheap used game, and replacing it with the dozens of copy's they have in the back before ever giving you a cash refund. Fourth: While the selection is large, so is the internet. I find with my years of going physically inside of this shop that anyone would be better off going online and ordering it. Fifth: I created a yelp solely for this review on this one store. The management is where this store falls short of competing gaming stores... Maybe if there is a management change that I have long asked the franchise for... I will consider going back. read more

Honestly, they have a big selection, but their prices are extremely questionable. For video game enthusiasts such as myself, I have found better prices and sales all the time elsewhere. If you're going to buy classic games (or classic anything for that matter), you'd be better off shopping around and comparing prices as you see them. Gamestop actually had cheaper newer games than they did, and their classic game prices are unreflective of the poor condition of most of the classic merchandise they have to offer. read more

I have been going to this particular store since their opening. Needless to say, being a total nerd. I loved it! That is until today. I had an iPod I wanted to get rid of because, I don't use it anymore. I took in there and I was promptly greeted. I asked if they still took iPods and they told me they did. Great! Now, here is where my visit went south. Now, I know they have to test equipment when one comes in. But, this guy obviously didn't know how iTunes works. When you connect an iPod to iTunes, you have to wait for it to register with the PC. This person didn't wait for that. He proceeded to try connecting then disconnecting MY iPod numerous times after I saw on the screen of my iPod blinking DO NOT DISCONNECT. Needless to say, it didn't connect to iTunes and now it doesn't even work. I contacted a manager and they said and I quote" Not my problem." Saying all this, I most definitely will not be going back to this store. They obviously are just there for a paycheck and nothing else. read more
