When l embarked on the plan to install solar panels l learned very quickly that purchasing solar panels for your roof is nothing like buying a specific car. The industry at least here in Florida has many fast talking salespeople without substance. After an extensive search as well as educating myself on the process, l learned that since one is purchasing finished panels and current converters, the success of the installation comes down to your installation contractor. Vinyasun is owned and operated by Justin Hoysradt. ln my pursuit for a perfect installation l spoke to about 50 people in the solar field, including some suppliers in the business, which led me to Justin. He has decades of experience in solar, and has an exceptional reputation. Vinyasun delivered an outstanding installation on time and operating beautifully. He is honest to the core, and coordinated the installation with my roofer ( we replaced the roof as well), and personally inspected the job almost daily and going up to the roof as well .His longevity of working in the industry works to Vinyasun's, and thus mine, advantage in permitting and getting the proper supplies promptly. l recommend Justin and Vinyasun highly. Vinyasun installed my solar panels in late March of 2021 and my house was up and running by early April 2021. In the last 28 months, I have been able to heat my pool in the winter time to 90 degrees and still not use all of the power that was generated. In fact I had an FPL bill of $0 for December 2021 through April 2022 due to the excess power sent back to FPL. Other months I have had the minimum billing from FPL. In late 2021 I purchased a Tesla since I was generating so much power there was no sense paying for gas. My wife then bought a hybrid a few months later in early 2022. We still managed to charge both vehicles at home and stay at or under the minimum FPL billing. Where we live we are on well water, so a power outage also means no water in the house. So as nice as the FPL savings are each month, the piece of mind knowing I can generate power during a grid outage was well worth the cost of installing solar. We recently had Vinyasun clean our roof solar panels that we have not had "cleaned" in the 7 years we have had them and they really needed a thorough washing. They did a great professional job with their specialized equipment. Years of caked pine pollen were removed and left the panels that are now like mirrors. Of course, we get even more power now. We installed solar with Vinyasun in 2019. In the contract, Vinyasun guarantees a certain amount of solar production from your system. This is broken down into 2 years increments. If the system does not generate the amount of energy promised, they agree to pay you for each kWh under the guaranteed amount. This contract is for 20 years! It's been 2 years last October and our system underperformed the guarantee by 3700kWh. We should expect a call, letter, email or some other communication, correct? Wrong. In fact, nobody returns phone calls, emails, texts. The owner Justin does not return phone calls, emails, or texts. Customer service with this company is non-existent. If you aren't sure, just call them. I guarantee that your phone call will go straight to voicemail telling you they are "busy helping other customers." That couldn't be further from the truth. You have multiple options for Sunpower panels in the area and even more for solar installers. Do yourself a favor and skip this company. read more

Should have no stars. AVOID THIS BOGUS COMPANY/MAN!!! It's just 1 man (Justin) not a solar company. Has no crews, solar equipment or storage batteries or warehouse. Liar. cheat, dishonest. Just sells freelance. Then you get actual solar company, like Go Solar, doing the contract for the work, warehousing & delivering materials randomly & blocking your driveway, sending out crews who don't speak English, men don't know of Vinyasun or Justin H., actual co. is filing for permits, etc. Vinyasun is Justin's 1-man sales person - listing of his services is all lies. No responses to phone calls, voicemails or texts. Only if told you'll take legal action as he commits fraud, do you get texts. Then in text he bullies & tries to intimidate you, saying "...this is my final word on the subject... I'm leaving for a trip out of the country so you'll have to wait till next year when I get back." After replying he'd be reported to licensing arm of the state of Florida, the FTC, etc. He appeared at my home the next afternoon.Rang my doorbell over & over for 18 mins. Pounded on my front door. I signed a contract with Vinyasun on September 30, 2020 and I still don't have my solar or Tesla batteries -- I received nothing, the roof and house is untouched! From what it looks like to me, the company only has one employee, Justin Hoysradt (the owner). I've called and emailed this company many times and have not received any response in months, while he has my money. This company has over $41,000 of my money and won't refund me (I've asked Vinyasun in writing and verbally to Justin Hoysradt). The contract expired September 30, 2021, it's been over a year. Now I'm going to hire a lawyer, what a waste of time. read more

VInyaSun came out to the home, gave us an estimate using OUR own numbers from FP&L. Designed a system to be efficient, practical and smart for our home. Using the funding from Dividend Solar Finance, our monthly payments of $187/mo, fixed, are better then our average monthly payments to FP&L of $226 with a high in the low $300's/month. Now the MONEY I am putting out for POWER is going towards my OWNED ASSET of Solar panels and smart/clean power. My FP&L bill averages about $9/mo, with the Line Charges still requiring payment. I do have a RESERVE already banked up with FP&L, which they will payout any overproduction at the end of each year. VInyaSun was CLEAN, FAST, and the SMART thing to do. The staff and every contractor/employee was respectful of our needs (property & dogs). THANK YOU VinyaSun ! It's really GREAT to be energy independent. read more

I originally did not like the company as you can see in my previous review. However, now I can not say enough positive things about them. My electric bill is running about $12.00 per month. That is largely because my wife keep the air at 71 degrees. Even though I originally had nothing nice to say, Justin still hung in there with me and solved every issue that I had. It turns out that the problem I was having was actually with FP&L, not Vinyasun. We both learned from this experience. read more

Vinyasun Corporation: You should consider my experience before contracting with this company. I originally contracted with Vinyasun in January, 2018. So I have had more than 2 and a half years of experience with this company. Vinyasun Corporation: Vinyasun Corporation was formed as a Delaware corporation and registered to do business in Florida. Delaware is considered by many to be very friendly to corporate entities. The Florida corporate registration was on July 22, 2014. Justin Hoysradt is the only corporate director and officer. Based upon my observation, the company appears to consist of 1 to 3 employees, Justin Hoysradt, a person who handles the office work, and perhaps the salesman. If there are others, I am unaware. What Vinyasun promised: In addition to the promise of the installation of a working solar system, Vinyasun's salesman sold me on using Vinyasun as my solar contractor for the following reasons: 1. A long (20 year) warranty, promising a company that stood behind its work. 2. Ongoing monitoring of my system from the company=s headquarters so that they would know when there was a problem and come out and make the repairs even without me notifying them. 3. An app which would allow me to monitor my system. 4. That Vinyasun employed it's own employees to do the work, and not a subcontractor. The reason I wanted the company to have it's own installation crew is because I wanted to work with a company of substance. I considered a company who is invested enough in itself to have it's own employees do the work, would be more substantial, and improve my chances that the long warranty that was promised would be a real thing. These are the ways that Vinyasun has failed me: 1. The system was installed by a subcontractor who came to do the work with Vinyasun T-shirts on. The subcontractor did his job with only two problems. During the process of installation, the men destroyed my attic air conditioning plenum (which had to be re-constructed by my AC contractor) and the heat pump hot water heater was improperly installed such that the cooler air was not being discharged into the open part of the garage. I later had the hot water heater re-installed by my plumbing contractor for an additional $600. 2. The warranty, so far, has been worthless to me. I first notified Vinyasun that my promised monitoring app was not working on 7-27-2018. Since then I have notified Vinyasun through 9 different emails over a two year period that the app is not working. While I have received some limited response, I have received no action. The subcontractor came out in July, 2020, and apologized and said that he ordered the part. It is now October and ....... nothing ...... 3. I have no confidence in Vinyasun's promise to monitor my system. The fact is that they could not possibly be monitoring a system that was not reporting properly since installation, or if they were, they didn't consider monitoring to be important enough to fix the problem. 4. To the best of my knowledge, not once did the certified solar contractor (or anyone other than Vinyasun's salesman) ever come to my property or ever supervise the subcontractor's work. 5. We financed our system through PACE. I was scheduled to be out of the country at the beginning of June, 2018. Due to permitting delays and construction delays the system was incomplete just before a period in the summer, 2018, when I was scheduled to be out of the country for a month. I notified Vinyasun that I would not approve the Pace final draw before I was scheduled to go out of the country and if he wanted to get paid before I left, then the system needed to be complete. Mr. Hoysradt, by phone, LOUDLY, objected. He told me that even if I signed off, PACE would not make the payment until they had the final approval from the Town of Jupiter. I called PACE to confirm what I was told and they informed me that that was not the case. They said that if I approved of the final draw, they would disburse it even without final approval. As it turned out, Vinyasun's subcontractor hussled and the system was substantially complete before I left. I do not know if this is an example of intentional dishonesty, or simply that Mr. Hoysradt was misinformed. Either way, in my opinion, this was not the way to do business. read more

I've never had a complete business with them, but can guarantee that their customer support is horrible. I had a scheduled appointment and they did not show-up to the appointments. Neither picked up the phone nor responded to the email. I believe communication is basic etiquette for any business to run long. In this case I wouldn't do business with them because the initial impression about the company determines their long term customer support for the product. Do NOT use this company. They are dishonest and will not uphold their agreement with you. This company has avoided my calls and not responded to my emails since May of 2021. They installed solar panels on my roof in 2018. We knew at the time that we would need our roof replaced in the next couple of years. Therefore, written into our contract was one uninstall and reinstall. Well last Januar 2021, we had them remove the solar panels so that we can get our roof replaced. They put them into our garage. Since May 2021, we have attempted to get our panels reinstalled on our roof. At first, they would make excuses as to why they were unable to get out to us. After a few months of excuses, they now just don't answer emails or calls. In December, I went by their office space and begged them to reinstall . They lady, Victoria, promised me she would speak to the owner, Justin and get back to me. She never got back to me. I have called and emailed numerous time per week. Now, over a year since they were taken off our roof, they are still not reinstalled. Terrible customer service and dishonest. It is part of our contractual agreement but they refuse to honor it. read more

We are so happy we made the decision to have our solar system installed by Vinyasun. Personally I was sold right away but my partner was skeptical at first because $0 down seemed too good to be true. We shopped around a little and found Vinyasun to be the most reputable and their panels were more attractive with the end skirting than any of the four companies we spoke to. Everything went as planned, no major problems. The permitting process with the city took a while, and there was some confusion about the hybrid water heater but that's our only complaint, and Vinyasun was quick to rectify the issue with the heater. I only wish we could have done it sooner! The energy savings is great, but, I also get a lot of gratification knowing I am doing my part towards a cleaner environment and lessening the demand for fossil fuels responsible for global warming. I am a big believer in alternative fuel technologies and talk with all my friends about the great work Vinyasun has done for us. read more
