When I first walked in, the receptionist and the aesthetician, Meg, that was doing my facial were waiting at the front desk for me. They were really friendly, and Meg walked me to my room. She asked a lot of good questions and gave me a lot of good tips and reminders about my skin. During the facial, Meg was extremely sweet and we got to know each other a little. The facial felt really good and she also dermaplaned my skin to get rid of all the dead skin. I've always heard that hydrafacials were the best way to keep up with younger looking skin if you get them regularily starting in your 20s so I definitely would recommend if you are looking for a great place to get any type of facial. My sister had unexpectedly had emergency surgery and I called this morning to reschedule so I could be with her. They told me that their "cancellation fee" is actually more a "rescheduling fee" . They said they would not apply the $50 to a rescheduled visit I would just be out the money. No exception. I explained I was a regular client and had something unexpected arise . They did not care. I said fine I would go to not lose the $50 but would get like 1 unit of something and never be back and make sure all my friends knew what happened as well. The woman got an attitude said I was making "threats" and said she would not allow me to go in and do the minimum. and in fact I would now have a $300 minimum if I kept the appointment. There was no minimum before so apparently this manager was just making up policies in the fly to rip me off. So out $50 or out $300 and miss out on being with my sister. So shady and nasty. Thievery really. I just made it yesterday afternoon so it's not like I even had time for a 24 hour notice. What the heck is that? Inflexible policies like that lose customers. It becomes apparent they are just trying to get as much money as they can from you and couldn't care less about being fair. No wonder they have such bad reviews in line and high staff turnover. Terrible Experience - Botched Botox Injection and No Accountability…read more I'm extremely disappointed and upset with my recent Botox treatment at Vio Med Spa Solon. What was supposed to be a routine procedure turned into a visible mistake. Worst of all, the company has refused to take any responsibility. During the injection, the injector hit a blood vessel multiple times, causing immediate bruising and discomfort. I expressed concern, but was told it was "normal" and would resolve. Unfortunately, it didn't. Within a day or two, a large, linear bruise developed straight down the center of my forehead - something that clearly indicates the injector struck a vessel more than once in the same area. When I called days later, the injector apologized and recalled hitting the blood vessel twice I've had Botox in the past with zero issues, so I know this is not a typical side effect when done correctly. It was clearly the result of poor technique and lack of caution. What's even worse is how the clinic has handled the situation. I reached out for a plan to address the damage - but instead, I was met with cold, dismissive responses and zero accountability. No refund, no offer for corrective treatment, no genuine concern for what happened. Just that this is a "normal " risk. Then she said she could fit me in & that someone was using the machine and I'd have to wait 30 minutes until I'm able to use it. Speaking through a medical mask that makes me feel so comfortable , not really. I scheduled my appointment for a specific time, I expected to be able to have it. When I arrived I stood there for 10 minutes before anyone even came to the front to greet me. They didn't even ask for my name and just took me back, mistakenly about to start a service that was for someone else . The last name of the girl who was supposed to do my facial wasn't matching to the name I scheduled with. Her name tag was completely different then what is listed on the website. I don't believe the girl I spoke with here was a licensed nurse practitioner whatsoever, nor did I see any credentials anywhere in the office. I was gonna spend around 200$ for a hydra facial but I walked right out of there. Thank god I did. Back in the '70's, diet wasn't associated with skin maintenance. I came to Wendy possibly 3 years ago. Due to work constraints, I had to take a slower approach to my severe acne scars. If I had the choice looking back, I should have taken vacation time. Wendy had given me that option. Thanks to COVID, I have to now, wear a face mask, however my skin has looked so much clearer that I'm not worried about make-up covering up and filling in the scars that I had.
