Violet Harvest Salad! Crisp and delicious!!

I had such a delightful meal with my husband, that I decided to bring my friend to celebrate her birthday!! We both started off with blackberry mimosas! Phenomenal!! She had the French dip sandwich and I had the BLAT sandwich!! Both were amazing!! For dessert she got a Nitro stout and I got a regular mimosa and banana cream pie! So delicious!!! Our server took such great care of us!! I love the decor and vibe as well! Can't wait to come back and try more delicious food and drinks!!

We had breakfast since we were here as soon as it opens at 9am. The salad is very flavorful, the porches eggs for the Bene is perfect. English muffins felt like homemade. Nicx is great (I hope I spell the name correctly). Wallpaper is gorgeous. Can't wait to sit at the patio when the weather is nicer. There are other dishes that I want to try. Love this neighborhood bistro.

Great little restaurant located in the middle of a residential area! Street parking only but went on a weekday and parking wasn't a problem. Service is friendly and helpful! Beautifully decorated - they do offer brunch on the weekends Loved their menu lots of offerings to suit many tastebuds! I opted for their hamburger which was very good and it came with fries - Overall a good lunch and will be back to try more menu items

Hands down the best French dip I've had! I always worry about horseradish sauce because I'm not the biggest fan, but the horseradish aoli is creamy with the perfect hint of heat. LOVED it! The crispy onion straws add a nice crunch!! The side salad was light and refreshing to pair with the sandwich. Service was excellent and the vibe was so much fun!! I definitely want to swing by to try breakfast options & pastries - they were very hard to turn down!!

Came on a Sunday at 1pm and got seated right away! This is a cute place with a small interior but they have a large tent outside for more seating. Our server, Nick, was super attentive and super helpful! As for the food, everyone in my party liked what they got! Their desserts also look so delicious and we got a few of those too. I would highly recommend this place for a Sunday brunch or a cute date spot!

Neighborhood gem alert! We were on the hunt for a new lunch spot and stumbled upon Violet, tucked charmingly into a quiet neighborhood. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcome. We opted for the dog-friendly outdoor patio--partially covered and equipped with heaters for those chillier days. A nice touch! Bonus points for the separate doggie entrance on the side, which made bringing our pup a breeze. Always love when places think through the details for dog parents. The lunch menu is fresh, inviting, and even includes a solid selection of wine, sparkling options, beer, and cider. We kept it simple this time with good ol' H2O, but the drink list definitely caught our eye. We kicked things off with Not Your Grandma's Deviled Eggs--and they absolutely lived up to the name. Perfectly pickled with a creamy, well-balanced filling, and that little pickle spear crunch on top? Chef's kiss. Next, we shared the Kale & Romaine Caesar. Unique and crunchy, with capers standing in for croutons (genius!). I'd just ask for a little extra dressing next time to really bring it home. Then came the Prosciutto & Rosemary Pinsa--yes, PINSA, not pizza. The crust was perfectly cooked, and the rosemary aroma was heavenly. Crisp, savory, and deeply satisfying. Our server was wonderful--friendly, attentive, and happy to answer questions. On our way out, we peeked at the dessert case (yes, we're already planning our return). Those cannoli looked like they're ready to be our next craving. Violet is definitely on our "come back soon" list.

You know when you're just craving a good classic BLT? Yeah, Violet hit the spot with this craving. It wasn't overly complicated and came with everything it needed to, plus the A for avocado. I was the only customer on a weekday afternoon for lunch and there were about 3 people working, all whom provided a warm and lovely experience. The decor is super cute and makes you feel like you're invited into a well-decorated home. I love how the restaurant is situated in a neighborhood because it adds to the homey atmosphere. I'll definitely be back to try their jerk chicken!

Loved the violet water glasses, and my lavender limeade was perfect.

We were looking for a lunch spot between dentist and medical appointments in SLC, and what an amazing find Violet was, thanks to Yelp recommendations! The menu is perfect for us - my husband eats meat, while I do not - and there are plenty of meal options for vegans, vegetarians and meat-eaters alike. We ate outside on the pleasant patio, and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience and delicious food (hubby = B.L.T.A. and me = Violet Harvest salad), along with the attentive & personable owner. Another thing we really appreciated was the environmentally friendly boxes for our leftovers vs styrofoam or plastic. This is definitely a new favorite and we highly recommend!

It's in a very odd spot. It sits on a very residential road. Ambiance is just ok. It has a nice outside but the inside seems very awkward. It's not warm or comfortable and it has an awkward last supper painting with dead rockstars. Food overall was good but the chicken with the Greek salad was kinda cold. It was warm. I wasn't sure if it was supposed to be hot or cold. Could have gone either way. The desserts were good especially the berry cobbler but they were served in odd Dixie cup like paper products. I would like my deserts in a real bowl or cassoulet The best part was the service. They were so kind and wonderful and did everything to make our meal the best it could. I just think some of the food could be better elevated.

Such a cute restaurant! My favorite color is violet, so the name by itself caught my attention. When I came here for brunch, I ordered the eggs bene which may just be the best I've had. The hollandaise sauce was absolutely incredible. The whole thing was delicious and I really appreciated the little violet sprinkles on top. As I looked around me, I noticed some violet drinks and other foods with violet sprinkles. I just love the whole violet theme! The outdoor seating was lovely and the service was wonderful. I'm excited to come back and try more things when I get the chance.

Violet was a cute little restaurant in the middle of a neighborhood. Our waiter Derek was really nice and a fantastic waiter. I got the Honey Hot Crispy Chicken sandwich. I upgraded my french fries to garlic fries. I enjoyed the sandwich but would do a salad for my side next time. You will have to find a parking spot on the street in the neighborhood.

Great outdoor patio spot with lots of shade. The service was awesome! Super friendly and attentive staff. Clean and well decorated inside. They have a special dog entrance if you bring your fur baby. Lots of vegan options. The fried zucchini was amazing!! I wish I would have ordered my own instead of shared. The rest of food is where it fell short for us. I got a quinoa breakfast bowl -- the egg was suppose to be scrambled but was flat and not fluffy at all, & barely any spinach or zucchini and an overwhelming amount of quinoa. The BLT and fries were fine but not great.

The service was really good. Nice and attentive waiter. The italian soda was good and looked really cute. I felt like our food was kinda small which left me wanting a little more but the taste was good. Good vibes overall

I've tried their Creme Brulee French Toast, biscuits and gravy, avocado toast, and today I tried their Perfect Omelette, but unfortunately all of them have been quite subpar. Unfortunately today was probably our worst experience. I ordered the Perfect Omelette because I saw it had avocado, but when I got it there was no avocado to be seen! Turns out they had run out but didn't tell me when I ordered, which honestly would have made me change my mind. The omelette tasted pretty bland to me, so I had to use plenty of ketchup and Cholula to help. I also usually like their brunch potatoes, but today they seemed less cooked and not as crispy. My bf enjoyed his Eggs Benedict per usual, but agreed the potatoes were worse than normal. Our server, who in the past has usually been quite attentive, was very slow and not attentive at all. He only checked on us to take our order (after we had been seated for at least 10 minutes), and then gave us our check at the end. A different person seemed to be helping him out by giving us water and serving us our food, which we appreciated, but nobody checked on us to see how we liked our meal. We saw people seated in other sections with different servers get seated after but attended to before us, which was a bit frustrating. We wondered if it was because our spot at the window bar seemed to be far from our server's other tables. We kept feeling like we'd been forgotten! Ambiance is very cute, modern, and IG-worthy. For me the food isn't great, but I'll keep working my way down the menu in an effort to find something I like since I know we'll be back for the Eggs Benedict haha. I think I'll try the pancakes next or I guess give the French toast another shot. If those don't work out, I might resort to just their orange juice (which is great because it's freshly squeezed, but unfortunately also room temperature as a result) and something a la carte. I'm giving them a 3/5 overall because service is usually better and because my bf still thinks they have the best EB in the county. But honestly I've never been somewhere where I've tried so many dishes and not liked any of them enough to order again. I also think their prices are high and keep inching up. $16 for their avocado toast is actually absurd! And I find it surprising that for a brunch place, they don't serve lattes/espresso. Hopefully your experience will be better than mine. I've attached all of the photos I've taken here, and you can almost tell how their quality has shifted. I hope they ultimately get better, not worse!

Well, I must have loved it since I went twice!! First day tried the BLT as well as a chocolate croissant which is to seriously die for, it is a must. The sandwich was with 1/2 salad and 1/2 potatoes, yum yum. The second time, I had Connor (he will remember Sheldon) who served me. He was awesome. I tried out a blueberry mimosa, an iced mocha and a water (I had been walking a lot and was tired and thirsty, don't judge). Then I just wanted that dang BLT again! I also ordered another almond chocolate croissant (I know, I know, should have tried something else). Well I did get a cookie too! My lunch was taking a little long, so they also brought out a couple of pastry items to try as well, so yum yum! The Chocolate Macaroon was also so wonderful and I cannot say enough about this quaint spot. It did fill up during lunch on the Thursday, so get there early or late! The salty mushrooms were mellowed by the chewy rice. The cashew cream gave a nice variation in texture. I didn't leave a morsel behind. The harissa carrots were nice as well.
