Rare to have healthy and fast with reasonable prices simultaneously but Monti has achieved this remarkable feat. Monti's is located in a holladay strip mall in a former fast food joint, keeping the drive thru but revamping inside to transform the dining area into a bright and cozy cafe. You order at the counter with an array of salads, bowls and sandwiches along with smoothies and fresh juices. My husband ordered a tuna salad sandwich and I ordered a salmon bowl. Everything was fresh and delicious. There was some confusion with our drink orders but the staff was quick to remedy it. The cookies there are amazing, thin and full of butter! Some of the best cookies I've had in SLC All orders regardless of dine in or to go are placed as a to go order which ends up being a bit wasteful and there were no trash bins to dispose of your containers once you were finished. All in all great spot for a quick and healthy bite.

I had seen that this place has a chicken Caesar wrap, so I was super excited to see that it's close enough to my work to go during lunch. This place is seriously adorable. It has gorgeous mountain views and nice seating outside. They also have seating inside. I think this used to be a fast food place, so they even have a drive thru!! When I got there, they had samples out of their frozen orange juice. It was SO GOOD and refreshing. You can taste that it is freshly squeezed. I ordered the chicken Caesar wrap as well as a side of fries with fry sauce. While I waited for my food, an employee brought me out another free sample. This time it was their golden hour smoothie. So yummy!! They gave me my food in a cute bag. The wrap was really good but had a little bit too much Parmesan for me. It over powered the other flavors a little bit, but I still enjoyed it!! I would not recommend getting the fries. I wish that they had been thinner. They were also pretty soggy. Overall, not great, but I do think this place is more of a health food place, so I don't think fries are their focus. I'm excited to go back and try more of the menu!!

LOVE IT! We need more of great food like this in Utah!! Fabulous high quality yummy eats! Caesar wrap is outstanding, the Steak salad is the bomb. Mini breakfast burritos are the unreal!!

    Huge glass shard in smoothie!

Glass shards in smoothie! No response from owners after a week, no care in contamination or safety! We have been regularly coming here since opening. We loved it even though the service is extremely slow, one time we were in the drive thru for 45 minutes- unacceptable anywhere else. The fries are a disgusting sloppy mess, so we stopped ordering them. But we wanted to support local and the location is convenient for us. At this point is doesn't matter what other items we tried and liked as i would not recommend monti anymore due to their careless safety practices. Because a little over a week ago we ordered a wrap, burger, tenders and a smoothie. After 20 minutes waiting for the car ahead of us it was our turn. They immediately handed us our bag of food (which meant it had been sitting inside getting cold and soggy, again). However our smoothie was not ready, they asked us to wait longer. We heard a girl asking a young man to prepare our smoothie...at this point we had ordered 30 minutes ago. It seemed hectic and unorganized inside. We continued to wait in the drivethru another 25 minutes just for the single smoothie, somethingvseemed wrong. We were familiar with how unorganized and slow they are, but our food was inedible, and falling apart because of how cold and soggy it had gotten over the course of nearly an hour. Once our smoothie that had taken another half hour to blend, they handed it to us with no apologies for the wait, or warnings or explanation that our food may be unsafe or contaminated. Upon trying the smoothie I noticed hard bits that I thought were small seeds. I swallowed some, but then a larger piece came through the straw. As I pulled it out of my mouth I was shocked to see what looked like a SHARD OF GLASS in my food! I immediately started panicking, and strained the smoothie at home to investigate. I couldn't believe they served this. I had found dozens of pieces or sharp glass or hard plastic all throughout the smoothie. My stomach was hurting and there was a concern that it caused me to start bleeding while in the bathroom!!! We emailed the owner again, it has been over a week with no response, even after resending the message with photos attached. I want to warn locals to not order here, but especially not the smoothies. We wanted to contact them and warn them so no children or other diners get hurt or sick. But the owner clearly doesn't care about safety or contamination. I want to point out when we were here there were small children consuming smoothies and food on the patio and that is what concerned me most- the potential for kids to be hurt and sickened by this careless establishment. Disgusting and scary.

Breakfast burrito with bacon, potatoes, eggs and cheese and corn. The side sauce completes it for sure!

Love the coffee. We've come the last few days in a row. My wife gets the juices which are all real juice and delicious. I get the breakfast burrito with the sauce is so good. My wife gets the mini burrito and it's the perfect amount of food for her. I'll post more pics. Inside is beautiful too. Used to be a Wendy's now it's a masterpiece. All the baristas and staff provide excellent service!

Crunchy on the outside but tender on the inside. You can tell this chopped steak isn't frozen. Add that to a great diner run by great people, and it's a great visit overall. I highly recommend it.

So I think in talking to most of my friends I got a good view on the food, and presentation. I had a starter of Totchos, and the Beef Dipper for my entrée. Both were excellent, I shared my Totchos. These are tater tot nachos, they were excellent, normally I don't like cheese sauce on Nachos, but given the consistency and flavor of this sauce (house made, I'm guessing. Not canned) They were excellent. The Beef Dipper and Au Jus, also top notch! Generally in a French dip, there is a lot of fatty pieces, this was not that. Also at my table was the Chile Verde bowl, this one has a kick... but my friend having it really enjoyed it. The fish and chips was great, smelled fresh. Lets talk about the sides. Choice of Fries (appeared to be battered fries, always a favorite of mine.) Tots, or house made potato chips. I had the Potato Chips with mine, these were excellent, crisp and tender on the inside. The Athena (Lamb Burger) got rave reviews from one at the table The Service: Because we were in a large group they advised us they were going to be taking our orders as we came in so not to overwhelm the kitchen staff. Excellent communication throughout service given that we were a large group. I talked to one of the Owners, Laurie, I could tell she had a huge sense of pride in the place. Very friendly! The Restaurant: Great atmosphere, Fun artwork, best of all, VERY Clean, nothing sticky or no grease buildup on any surface. The glass ware on the wall behind the bar as all polished. In the bar area they stack their silver, tableware, condiments etc. in a cute little cozy box on the table, with the main dining area setup as a diner with the traditional paper napkin and silverware. For a diner motif to have shined silver and glassware is a nice touch! Summary: Eat here! The prices are reasonable, the food is excellent, when I looked at the menu online I was a little put off by no actual entrée's on the dinner menu, however the in house experience made up for that, it's a pub food vibe and they are doing it well!

This location was to be an Even Steven's that we used to go to on occasion, and Dali Crepes did an amazing job with this space! It is so nice and inviting inside. I've always loved a savory crepe, so I was excited to take a look at the menu and see the options they had. That being said, the sweet crepe options looked so delicious that my husband and I contemplated splitting a sweet one in addition to what we were ordering. I was glad we decided not to because my goodness! These crepes came out and they were HUGE! It really justifies the cost of the crepe because I mean it; they were massive. Here's what we ordered: * I'm Vegetarian crepe: I can't begin to explain how obsessed I am with this crepe. The combination of flavors is so delicious. I love pesto in a breakfast item and that in combination with the avocado mayo is so good. The crepe is not heavy at all and every bite is refreshing with the greens, cherry tomatoes, and feta. * Breakfast in Montenegro crepe: My husband loves this crepe and gets it every time. He said the prosciutto and fresh mozzarella really makes it and he loves a perfectly cooked runny egg yolk. * Mango smoothie: I ordered a mango smoothie to-go because I can't resist a mango menu item. It's a very uncomplicated smoothie with mango, mango purer, milk, and whipped cream. But it was the perfect way to end my meal with a little "dessert." The wafer straw was also a tasty touch. * Espresso & Biscoff: My husband ordered an espresso with his meal and he said the flavor was great. It came with a Biscoff cookie for dipping, which you can never go wrong with. I can't tell you how many times that I've ordered crepes to-go from them now because they also travel well. Big fan of what we've tried so far and I'm glad that Dali Crepes is here!

Every dish that came to our table looked like it belonged in a magazine, but the best part was that the food tasted just as incredible as it looked. We started with the Eggs Benedict, which featured perfectly poached eggs, flavorful rosemary ham, rich hollandaise, and crispy potatoes. The Funky Monkey French Toast was over-the-top in the best possible way, loaded with Nutella, bananas, berries, roasted peanuts, and real maple syrup. The double cheeseburger was juicy, packed with flavor, and paired perfectly with crispy fries. We also loved the Beet & Strawberry Panzanella, which balanced sweet strawberries, earthy beets, creamy whipped goat cheese, crunchy pecans, and fresh mint for a refreshing combination. The biggest surprise of the meal was the beignets. Warm, fluffy, and generously dusted with powdered sugar, they were easily one of the best we've ever had. They practically melted in our mouths and were worth the visit all on their own. If you're looking for an outstanding brunch spot in Utah with creative dishes, generous portions, and an unforgettable atmosphere, Sunday's Best is an easy recommendation. Our server was funny, personable, and attentive, especially when it came to drinks and refills. Things started going downhill when I received my entree, the Poor Man's Truffle. Unfortunately, the only way this dish lived up to its name was in how little the supposedly high-quality ingredients seemed to come through. The dish itself is fairly simple, which normally isn't a bad thing when the ingredients are meant to speak for themselves. With Belper Knolle, truffle oil, pistachio pesto, tomato, fennel, and arugula, I expected something flavorful and well balanced. Instead, the entire dish tasted incredibly mild. Belper Knolle is typically a bold, salty, peppery cheese, and I could visibly see the black pepper around the edges of the thin shavings, but the flavor barely registered. I also couldn't taste the truffle oil at all. There was visible oil pooling at the bottom of the plate, but no noticeable truffle flavor. I understand pistachio pesto tends to be more subtle than a traditional basil pesto, but altogether, this dish just fell completely flat for me. The presentation didn't help either. It looked more like something that had been scooped from a pan and dropped onto the plate than a thoughtfully plated entree. When a dish misses both on flavor and presentation, that's when it becomes a real disappointment for me. I will say the gnocchi itself was cooked well, which was one of the few positives. I also tried the burger, and it was significantly better than my pasta. However, the very small sprinkle of bacon was a little baffling considering it was an additional upcharge. Where the night really went downhill was at the end of the meal. I had been excited to try the beignets because that isn't a dessert I see on menus very often. Our entree plates were cleared, and then we waited about 20 minutes before our server returned and asked whether we were ready for the check. Dessert wasn't mentioned, and by that point our table was tired of waiting, so we decided to skip it and asked for our checks. Then our server disappeared for another 30 minutes. We eventually had to flag down a hostess who was seating another table and let her know that we were still waiting for the check. About five minutes later, our server finally returned and casually explained how "crazy" the night had gotten because of the show. I understand restaurants get busy, but the apology felt very dismissive after we had waited nearly an hour from finishing our entrees to finally receiving the check. It genuinely felt like our table had simply been forgotten. I also want to add that I tend to hold restaurants like this to a higher standard. I'm a big believer in "you get what you pay for." If I'm eating at a fast-food spot or somewhere inexpensive and casual, there's only so much room to complain. But when a restaurant has prices like this, highlights premium ingredients on the menu, and presents itself as a more elevated dining experience, I think that naturally opens the food and service up to more criticism. At that price point, I expect the quality, presentation, and overall experience to reflect what I'm paying for. My final takeaway is that maybe I ordered the wrong dish. Pesto is one of my favorite things, so I almost always want to give a pesto-based dish a try. Unfortunately, Prohibition's pesto gnocchi was not it for me. I also saw that they describe themselves as a scratch kitchen using high-quality, locally sourced ingredients, which I don't necessarily doubt. What confused me was how so many ingredients that should have distinct flavors somehow tasted like almost nothing. If your goal is interesting drinks and a fun show, this is probably still a place worth considering. Since we sat outside, I can't speak on the show part, but it seems to be a big hit. Food-wise, though, it missed the mark for me.

Four of us went for brunch on a Sunday morning and much to our surprise the place wasn't full and there was no wait for a table. It was nice weather so we requested to sit on the patio. While they have a nice patio area it appeared that no one had prepared and cleaned the patio for customers today. The tables with a bit dirty with debris from the trees and hadn't been wiped off at all but we were sat there anyways. We waited over 20 minutes to place our order. Not sure what the situation was because the place wasn't that busy but many tables seemed to be waiting a while to place orders or receive their food. We finally got a chance to order and each of us ordered something different. I tried the Thai Coconut Pancakes which sounded delicious. Sadly we waited and waited again for our food and then it arrived in stages. Anyone that runs a restaurant kitchen knows that patrons want to each together at the same time. Our dishes came out one by one with significant timing gaps between them. It made our experience a little disappointing. My pancakes never came out. I said something to one server and she said she'd check on it. Several minutes went by and still nothing and our own server didn't even check back in on us. I went inside to see where my pancakes were and they said there was a mistake and they were still working on it. Finally after the other 3 in our party were just about finished eating my Thai Coconut Pancakes arrived. I will say the pancakes were delicious, flavorful and quite unique. I would order this dish again but I must say based on the slow service experience we had today I'm a bit hesitant to return to Jeffi's.
