A standard Chinese bakery with good buns and drinks. I especially like their soy milk and hot dog buns. They have a lot of glutinous rice dumplings and cake options if you're craving either.

This is your standard brooklyn chinese bakery. Sometimes I go here to get something quick on the go. They usually work very quick so the line goes by fast. Last week, I came here to order my birthday cake. I went to look at different cake books at other bakeries nearby and found their cakes to look too old fashioned and wanted a more modern looking cake. I came in here and asked to look at cakes and a lady handed me an ipad with cake pictures to look through and choose. I chose one cake but asked for the blue color found on another cake. I ordered it on Sunday and picked it up on Wednesday. It was $30 for a 6 inch cake with mixed fruit inside. The cake came out very pretty and was everything I wanted. It looked a little different from the photo but came out looking better than the photo I chose. Included was a plastic cake knife, 6 candles, and a small decoration stick that says "happy birthday" on it (pictured on the cake). Not pictured was a small stick they included with a paper with my name written on it. Overall, love my cake and it was a very easy experience for me.

I never had a Hong Kong milk tea badly like this. The tea it taste like leftovers from yesterday, I took a sip then threw it in the Trash can, Waste my money.

My mysterious lunch pick of steamed rice -filling was peanut and dried pork. Very filling!

This place definitely lives up to the hype! The food here is amazing, and when I say food, I mean…read moremore than just the baked goods. Starting off with the baked goods, the brown butter corn cake may be the single best pastry I've had in my life. It has a great crispy exterior and a super moist and decadent interior that just makes it the best pastry you could ever ask for. I also think they have one of the best chocolate chip cookies in the city, and their cinnamon roll is light yet executed perfectly. In addition to their pastries, their sandwiches are amazing. My favorite is this chili crisp tofu sandwich. It is packed with great flavor, perfectly tender tofu, and is layered between two pieces of delicious bread. I also love their arugula burrata prosciutto sandwich that is paired so nicely with their focaccia, making each bite the ultimate experience. While I've never waited in a really long line, I can say that they do move pretty efficiently. Unfortunately, there isn't much room to eat inside, but on a nice day, if you can grab a table outdoors, it's a great experience in the lovely Greenpoint neighborhood.

Great great bakery and all the workers were so nice. You don't really eat inside and have tables…read moreoutside Tried the prosciutto burrata sandwich and the tofu sandwich. There was basil in the first sandwich that cuts through the fattiness of the meat and cheese which was great. The second sandwich had this spicy sesame sauce which was so good - was not expecting to like the tofu one that much. Brown butter corn bread was the most moist one I've ever had and the top was so crispy. Rhubarb pastry was good but nothing special - didn't taste the rhubarb.

Even though there is a line, you do not feel rushed or pressured to order quickly. On this visit we ordered plain croissant, chocolate croissant-fresh out of the oven, rhubarb croissant, black forest pastry and brown butter corn cake. The chocolate croissant was amazing. It is triple chocolate and cocoa powder is in the dough. It is filled with milk and dark chocolate, so creamy. The plain croissant was flaky and light. The brown butter corn cake was crispy and caramelized on the outside and soft and moist. The Black Forest croissant is a seasonal offering. It is made with their Triple Chocolate Croissant filled with chocolate cake and sour cherries and topped with mascarpone cream , Rhubarb & Custard Croissant . It is tart and sweet. The rhubarb is roasted and complimented with sweet vanilla custard. They all were excellent. Each were about $8. Highly recommend and don't let the line deter you .

It's also difficult to see all the items since everyone is packed in a line even when you get into the store. The food itself: - cardamom bun was yummy, a bit too cardamom forward though. 3.5/5 - the pb and J croissant was cool, a bit too rich for my liking but I admire how different it was and I actually had to save this one for the next day and it was still good so 4/5
