A decent lounge that's clean and open with lots of seating should you want to wait out your flight away from the gates. You have to order both drinks and food, food is limited to only a few basic items. Staff was friendly, no frills airport lounge that's comfortable and has better WiFi than the airport!

This is my second time at this lounge It has extremely clean bathrooms with dedicated cleaning staff Check in easy You can order coffee at the counter and there's a self serve fruit and toast and cereal Or you can grab a table and there are a few food options, which are just fine . I usually get the chili kilos and then I can order scrambled eggs with ham because it comes with a side of beans. I like the beans. The last visit I did not drink because I was here with17 year-old kids for their spring break. Today I am on my own so having a couple of 8 AM Palomas.! They can make you a coffee almost anyway you like unless you like eccentric Starbucks stuff. I've had leane cappuccinos here and they're great. I've been in better lounges. I've been worst lounges and I'm very happy here. It's definitely better than the one at the San Diego airport.

Amazing lounge, great hospitality. Michelada was top notch, great way to start the vacay off

Its a comfortable enough lounge and pretty much the only one in the TJ Airport so there's not much to complain about. Wifi has always been strong and bathrooms clean. The bathrooms even have a shower which could come in clutch. There are 2 bars, but only 1 has ever been open during my visits. You can order food and drinks here, but you need to get creative in asking what hot foods they have because it's not immediately noticeable. Early mornings, the coffee drinks are always a solid. They even serve alcohol in the morning... The michelada (which I did not have in the morning, but afternoon), was super enjoyable. Some self-serve cold foods on the side of the bar, but the pickings have been a miss for me. Again, you can order hot foods and if you can figure out what they have, they have someone serve it directly to you at your seat. It has never been busy when I've gone, but as it is the only lounge, I am sure it is sought after.

The eggs and has was pretty good the beans were definitely the best part.

For being airport food it was surprisingly pretty good, service was decent but could be better. Beers are cold and plenty of charging ports.

A little different than the other priority pass lounges I've been to but in a good way! I stopped in before my early am flight. I walked in to find a seat and found myself followed by a server. The server asked what I wanted to drink and eat. I had to ask what the options were so it would be nice if the selection is posted somewhere. I ordered the ham and cheese sandwich, the cucumbers with tajin and lime, and cookies. My favorite was the cucumbers!

Our traveling groups' first time at VIP Lounge in Tijuana airport. We figured let's give all the lounges a trial run for a year, see what each has to offer since on an average trip, $10- $40 is being spent at the airport on food and drinks alone. I was excited to see TJ's VIP lounge. I wasn't sure what to expect since my experience in Vallarta last year was unfavorable. My friend invited me to Vallarta's VIP lounge, very minimal food (cookies and crackers don't count), no space, close quarters, packed and very poor service. I remember seeing 4-5 "cooks" in the kitchen making sandwiches but only 1 person posted at the so-called food area. What Vallarta's lounge did have was plenty of beverages. The entire upstairs and downstairs was packed, including the bar. Lots of standing around against the walls and not enough chairs to sit on. Back to TJ lounge... As we walked past the elevator doors that lead into the TJ's VIP lounge, I was immediately impressed. Huge amounts of lounging area everywhere, lots of space between each lounging section and roomy aisles everywhere. The lounge looked modern with contemporary furnishings and decor. Not much of wall decor but aesthetically, bare wall was ok. Liked: lounge is on second level, mass amount of chairs, variety of lounge areas, televisions everywhere and large windows able to see giant flight monitor. Chilaquiles was delicious! The sauce had a special taste, different from others. Can't place it. Disliked: not made aware that salad bar was available and that no server should ever show an annoyed facial expression when VIP member request for more food items. Alejandro, pls watch your manners - customer service. You were tipped, remember Our overall experience at TJ VIP lounge has been a nice and calming experience Recommend

I had to self serve a glass of water. No ice available. No service from any of the staff I saw

This is my fourth time in this particular PP lounge. I've only managed to get a server one time. It wasn't this time. I've used PP lounges all over (including others in Mexico). I don't know what's wrong with this one but seriously, don't waste your time coming up here.

Overcrowded and not many food options compared to other lounges. I walked in and out. Check in counter lady was nice and fast.

Came here with the priority pass, they had lots of space open and was a great place to stay waiting for our flight.

I've been to lounges throughout the U.S. over the last few years, and this one has definitely been…read morethe best as far as food offerings and ambiance go. It does feel very exclusive as you come up the elevator and walk around the lounge, looking for a spot in one of the many seating arrangements they offer, with blue accents and warm lighting. Once you find a spot, drop your stuff, get a couple dishes and a drink or two, it is quite a relaxing and somewhat rejuvenating experience. In talking with the bar tenders, I learned that they change their drink menu seasonally, but I'm not sure how often they change their food menu. They offer some dishes on a buffet line, and additional items can be made-to-order and brought directly to you, ordered through using the QR code on your table. Most buffet items have been good, but maybe we had too many flights in the same season because I found myself looking at the same buffet items on several visits. The items are mostly visually appealing and lean on the healthy side. Sometimes there is a bland item or two. Everything I've ordered through the QR code has been very yummy, though sometimes takes a very long time to be made. Depends on how busy they are, like anywhere else. They offer facials here, but I've never been able to reserve a spot. Hopefully one day! There are also rest pods available for rent in a back room. Never needed one so can't speak to it. For alcohol, they have a full-service bar, and bartenders can only take cash for tips. For non-alcoholic drinks, they have several flavored waters, sparkling water taps, canned drinks in fridges (which can be taken to-go as well), and a fancy coffee machine. I sit at the bar whenever I'm feeling talkative, and the bartenders are friendly. My only real complaint is that the tables can be very slow to be cleaned, even when plenty of people are working...and also that the attitude of the bussers can be hit-or-miss. Not saying you have to love your job...but you are working a customer service position...in a card members' lounge...in an airport...so, idk, things to think about! Always look forward to popping in, and I've even started to look specifically for flights leaving out of terminal 2 so I can visit this lounge!

The lounge is beautiful inside and easily one of the nicest-looking lounges at SAN. Unfortunately,…read moreafter several visits, the experience has never quite lived up to the appearance. The buffet is very small, and the food quality has been consistently underwhelming. I usually skip it altogether. There is also a small made-to-order menu, but the choices are fairly limited: a burger, quesadilla, or chicken tenders and fries. The food is perfectly edible, but it feels more like standard bar food than something you would expect from a premium lounge. The biggest issue seems to be overcrowding. The lounge is often packed, and the staff appear stretched thin trying to keep up. As a result, cleanliness suffers, and the food program feels watered down by the sheer number of guests. Overall, this lounge makes a great first impression, but after a few visits, it feels like style is carrying more of the load than substance. The space is impressive, but the food, cleanliness, and overall experience leave plenty of room for improvement.
