You have to order from the servers. Tip them and they'll come around and treat you right. Food option wasn't the best though. If you have a priority pass card, totally worth the stop. I've been traveling in and out of this airport since I was a young boy and to see it with a cool lounge this one brings me great joy. This lounge is right after security check and was a great relaxing place for us. The girl at the front desk was very nice and happy to be there. It was busy but not too busy and had lots of comfy places to sit. They even had a children's place with tv and toys. Decor-very inviting with lots of leather seats throughout lounge. It had conference room, bathrooms, and a computer working area. Service-gentlemen attending bar and food area were on it. They were fast and polite, which you don't see with often. They brought our drinks to our table and did it with a smile. Food-was surprisingly great! Eggs with veggies, black beans, and creamy potatoes were a great way got start our day. Coffee was rich and packed a nice caffeine punch and fresh fruit, baked goods, and yogurts were all on point. Tip-arrive early and enjoy some relaxation time before you board your plane. My friend bought our passes ahead of time. The price is 690MX or about $36USD. Upon check in despite having the ticket with the QR code to scan the front desk person struggled to find our reservation. She finally found it and let us come up to the second floor. There is plenty of seats, TVs, meeting room, and even a smoking room. We checked in around 7:30PM. They have a fully stocked bar. I got a margarita which was pretty good and a mineral water, my friend got a Michelada which he also said was good and my husband got whiskey and Coke which he enjoyed. They had pretty limited food options: Turkey Panini, Tuna Panini, cookies, peanuts, popcorn, Jicama, and Carots which was a little disappointing but they tasted okay. The bathrooms are also very nice and clean and the service wasn't too bad. To make it worth it I would def say drink a lot and order the whole food menu lol they even have an espresso machine! read more

The lounge is cute, easy to locate, and worth the stop if you have some time. Upon entering, you check in at the desk and show your Priority Pass card. Like all other lounges, the attendant hands you the WiFi password, and you are on your way. You head up the stairs or you can take the elevator. Upon entrance, there is plenty of seating that is arranged in cozy sections that fit 4-6 people that feels both secluded and welcoming. There is a mix of both couches and tables. There are also plenty of floor outlets and small tables for your food and drinks. There is also a smoking room, which was interesting and not something I come across often in lounges. Good to bring my grumpy smoker dad if I can ever get him to leave his house. Today is Wednesday at 9 am. The food selection is good. It's a mix of croissant sandwiches, bagels with cream cheese, fruit, oatmeal, cereal, pastries, and there is a selection of hot foods served on a buffet warmer. The hot food options were scrambled eggs, refried beans, and salsa. All were tasty and the breakfast area was attended well. Breakfast options were replenished regularly. There is also a full coffee bar, a variety of juices, you just need to let the attendant know what you want. There is an enclosed kids room for the kids to run around in. There are also computers for use. The wifi strength was good and didn't once drop on us. There's a scattering of TVs around the lounge. The lighting is nice and comfortable. There are a lot of 1/2 walls and barriers so the noise level of the lounge is perfect. read more

This is really a 3* lounge to me, but the private security makes it a 4* to me. In case you don't know, this lounge has a very unique feature where you can enter the lounge and then go through airport security and skip the long lines. I use it every time I fly out of Tijuana. Once inside the lounge, things are pretty disappointing. There's some subpar food, but not all that much. No self serve bar but the guys working will make you whatever drink you want. I had a bloody mary last week and it was just ok. Definitely beats sitting in the airport terminal, though. read more

The lounge is 620 pesos or $31 USD. The good - it's clean and staff is nice. The bad - limited food options. They only had sandwiches - ham or tuna. They were good but that was the only option. They didn't have Diet Pepsi just regular when I was there. Unlike most lounges where there is buffet style food out and self serve. Here you have to order and when they are understaffed at 25% full. It's slow. If this was $15 with limited food options and slow service, I wouldn't mind but not at that price. I expect average this place is below it significantly. read more

I'm always happy whenever there's a lounge in a small airport like this. The service was friendly, the food wasn't too bad, the seating was comfortable and plentiful and the WiFi worked fine. I can't ask for much more than that at the TJ airport. It certainly beat sitting by the gate. We stopped in the VIP lounge on our first visit to the Tijuana airport. You can't miss it right after security line coming from the CBX. It's definitely worth it if you have the Priority Pass. I am not sure I would pay any money though based on our experience. A few breakfast options of scrambled eggs, refried beans and fresh fruit started at 7am. There were sandwiches and oatmeal packets out before. They also have lattes at any time. Checkin was very easy. There is plenty of space and it's a nice relaxing lounge but definitely keep your food expectations low. read more

This place is terrible, I will complain to Amex. The service is atrocious. If you plan to pay to get in , don't, as my friends had to. Unusual for a vip , no food available at will, has to be ordered with a waiter and good luck getting them to serve you. Find a bar/ restaurant in the airport, save yourself the aggravation. I don't know what they charge for it but our credit cards offer us airport lounge passes. Check in was smooth and just a little side note....they have a separate security check in! So you don't have to go stand in those long security lines! The lounge is pretty big. Lots of places to sit with comfortable couches. They offer a variety of drinks including liquor, wine, and beer and of course non alcoholic drinks. They also had a couple different sandwiches (which they will panini press) and other snacks that you can enjoy. The staff here was super nice and friendly and served us well. read more

Four stars is relative, make sense? In the world of airport lounges this one is, well, a lounge. Nothing more, nothing less. That being said, I've been to A LOT worse airport lounges around the world and the fact that Tijuana even has a lounge is really impressive to me. What do you need from an airport lounge? Who cares. What do I need? A cold drink, a little nibble, wifi and some comfy accommodations. Check, check, check. The bar has your standard booze, beer and wine while you'll find mostly cold sandwiches, veggies, chips, nuts and the occasional hot dish here. I've visited six times and it's pretty much a crap shoot with the food but there will always be something and "something" is all I need. Haven't traveled out of the Tijuana airport yet? You're missing out (and spending too much elsewhere) and this is one more reason why! read more

We arrived around 9pm on a weekday and were the only ones there for a while. It is nicely air conditioned, spacious, basic, clean, and a bit dated. There are a couple TVs, lots of leather chairs, lots of electrical outlets and tables. There was no self-serve food or drink; we had to ask a server what we wanted. He was friendly and nice. There is complimentary beer, soda, and some mixed drinks. We asked about food and received a ham & cheese sandwich and also a tuna sandwich both on croissant-like bread, warmed up. I have to admit, they weren't bad (I was really hungry). We then asked about sweets and got some oreos and Chips Ahoy-type cookies. I probably wouldn't pay for entry, but if you already have club access, or a free pass, of course you should check it out. read more
