Pleasant experience. The food choices is very lacking. Recently flew out of this terminal and was able to stop by this lounge for a little bit of time while waiting for my flight. The whole place was super clean and well organized. The floor to ceiling windows is super nice too, love the view. They do have a nice espresso coffee machine that makes fancy coffee drinks. The only downside is the food was not good at all. There was only some bagels and and chips. Alcohol drinks are not included. They did give me a $10 voucher to purchase food and alcoholic drinks. That's was helpful. Although some food are only available during certain times and I couldn't get most items in the morning hours. Service was very nice.

Nice lounge if you are going thru San Diego airport. I had a 3 hour layover and had to walk from terminal 1 to terminal 2 to access this lounge but it's totally worth the walk. Currently they are operating with limited hours, close at 1 pm. They offer a decent continental breakfast bagels, yoghurt, muffins, pastries, cereal, coffee machine that makes all kids of coffee, cappuccino is awesome! For Amex platinum card holders, you are allowed 2 guests plus card holder and each guest is given $10 voucher to use towards food and premium beverages. They have a good selection of complimentary wine (sparkling, Chardonnay and Cabernet) and beer. The sparkling Brut is great. They sell wraps and salad after 10.30 AM, so I could not use my vouchers towards food but I could splurge on some good duckhorn Chardonnay and hubby enjoyed old fashioned. Overall great experience, staff is very good.

This is what one do at the airport lounge !

Gets the job done. Friendly staff. Obviously not as spacious or amenities filled as Delta Sky Club or Amex Centerion Lounges. Amex Plat comes with 2 guest passes. Each person get $10 voucher for food or drinks at the bar. $10 gets you a cesear wrap. Free beers were coors or Miller. Plenty of snacks to grab.

It's a nice little haven from the hustle and bustle of the craziness, especially during holiday weekend. With the Chase Sapphire reserve card, you get free entry and 2 guests. Each person will get a $10 voucher for any premium food/drink. They have complimentary snacks, coffee, tea, and alcohol. The food isn't as bad as we expected and theres plenty of outlegs

    Quiet lounge.

Though this lounge offers meager food offerings, the staff are great. Comfortable seats though it can get busy at times. There is a bar and food available for purchase. But, we prefer to buy a sandwich outside in the terminal and bring it in. Then, drinks and coffee and cookies from the lounge.

Maybe it was slim pickings because I arrived 30 min prior to closing, but I was not impressed with the spread ( or lack there of) at this lounge. When I arrived at 945 P.M., there were cookies, a few cheese cubes, and a few apples out for the taking. The coffee and tea station was stocked.. offering French vanilla creamers, chamomile tea, and chai teas. I was offered a $10 dining credit to the lounge as a perk of my Amex card. I spent this on an $11 glass of wine which came out to $11.18. I tried to pay cash but this lounge only takes card.. which isn't an inconvenience but just something to note. All the macarons in other yelp photos looked tempting. To my dismay though, each macaron is 2.25$, and rather small. Overall, it's a clean lounge. I will definitely come here again at a more reasonable hour and see if the spread has expanded. I'm also tempted to try the food off the menu!

Great space, clean, nice natural light with the floor to ceiling windows and view of the tarmac. You can get in with one world, British airways, and Platinum American Express (maybe delta too). Note: no priority pass access. With the Platinum amex entry, you get up to 2 additional guests with you. Each person gets a $10 food and beverage credit. You're allowed to order any food item to go. Alcoholic beverages are not free. There is also a station of snacks and coffee / tea. The snacks include crackers, cheeses, some veges, but nothing substantial as a meal, so that's where the food menu comes in and you can order food for $10 or less.

I am very disappointed with the San Diego airspace lounge. Having traveled all over the world and experiencing different Clubs and other airlines lounges this one just does not even come close. The entrance is cold and not welcoming. It is brightly lit and has uncomfortable seating. It is difficult to find a comfortable spot to work. The wrap I ordered was soggy and did not taste good. The snacks are minimal, some machines that dispense a combo of pretzels and nuts, some fruit, some cheese. The service is spotty, sometimes they acknowledge you and other times you will stand and wait while they talk to others. Time is precious when you are connecting flights, so I found the lack of customer service unprofessional. This lounge needs a facelift and some customer service training, as well as a menu change. Tried again and even worse. The person taking the money used same gloves to make food. Floor was dirty. Cheese was scraps.

At 8 AM, nice quiet space. Wifi, some complimentary drinks. With Priority Pass you get a $10 voucher to be used toward food or premium drinks.

There are a few things that I find myself not exactly a pro at. I don't really know airport lounges. It took me a while to figure out as a permanent gold member, you can use star alliance gold lounges like the Senator lounge in DC. As an Amex Platinum card member you can get into lounges beyond Centurion and PriorityPass, such as this one. Thankfully for every damsel in distress there is a knight in shining armor to guide her through airport confusion courtesy of the Point's Guy's abbreviated introduction course. While I was still in uber talking to my colleague, I got a text from a friend who was telling me where to go after arriving at the airport. "By gate 33. Very nice. Like an European lounge." The text message says. It did not tell me that Amex Platinum members can use it. He had assumed that I knew. I figured I'd have to pay $20 to get in but I would be wrong. It's free for Amex Platinum cardholders, of which I'm a loyal fan. European lounges are often white background, clean lines, sparse, simple, functional and efficient. Except for first class or the Senator lounge at Frankfurt. But this is more like a typical small sized intra Europe lounge, but bigger and brighter (because Americans like things big and bright). $10 gift card towards purchases. A glass of champagne seemed appropriate plus a macaron, which set you back exactly $10. Lots of power outlets. Good coffee machine. Ice water and soda water. cheeses and veggies. Perfect, really, as I am on a carb free sugar free diet. Internet speed is decent. AT&T cell coverage not. I worked until the said friend was leaving to catch his Virgin while I waited for my United. We kissed goodbyes like the Europeans would do. We were quiet like a mouse just like the Europeans. I continued with my work and conference calls until it's time to go. A good place to cool your heels and get a lot of work done between flights. European style attire completely optional.

Ask the Community - Airspace Lounge

If my flight is in Terminal 1 can I get into this lounge? Not sure if terminals connect?

Not connected, although close. You'd have to go out and back through security,

Does Airspace accept Priority Pass? ( I couldn't find this information at Priority Pass lounge web)

It does now as of mid/late 2021.

How are the prices for drinks? Is there a discount for platinum membership?

You get a $10 credit when you check in use towards any food or beverage purchases. They also have com wine and beer along with snacks. Food menu is reasonable priced and drinks are your typical airport prices.

If I have Amex Platinum card (allows 4 guests) and also American club membership (allows 2 guests). So if I present both, would they allow total of 6 guests?

No. You are only allowed to use one card to get access to the club. You cant use both . With American Express card you are allowed to bring up to 2 guest or family members.

Regarding beverages there are coffee machines, fridge stocked with non alcoholic beverages, filter stilled and sparking water, array of drink options (cocktails, wine, beer, NA, etc) you can order online or you can go up to the bar and order a drink not on the menu as well. I ordered a lemon drop which was tasty and she was able to make it less sugary for me. Overall all staff were friendly, on top it (clearing tables, restocking items) and overall cleanliness of the lounge. We enjoy coming to this lounge and the food is good. I learned this time that if you are seated at a table that doesn't have a plug in/power source near by you can ask for a portable power source for your table.

Drop off by our Uber driver was super easy, and we just had a brief walk to find the SW check in area which has high ceilings and is very bright. There was a short line but we were quickly helped. Then we breezed through security with TSA PRE, and had a five minute walk to gate 107. Even though our flight was delayed by an hour, we still got here realllllllly early, so I had some time to explore the terminal. Firstly, the bathrooms are huge & really nice. The stalls have plenty of space for luggage & belongings so you can maneuver & use the restroom comfortably. Big plus there! Secondly, I spotted at least five water bottle refill / water fountain stations which is always appreciated. Thirdly, there are a number of eateries, coffee shops (including Better Buzz & Lofty Coffee), bars, & stores available for your dining, drinking & shopping pleasure. Near the food court, there was also live music & a sampling station for some of the fun drinks that are offered in the terminal. I had a sample of the San Diego Sunset lemonade & it was so good! There's also a huge outdoor patio with various seating arrangements where you can enjoy your food, watch the planes or just relax. It is a great space! The gate areas are fine. They have a mix of typical chair seating with plugs, standup counter space, and low couches. Due to air traffic control delays, the gate areas have been very busy and crowded. There were cleaning folks in the bathrooms, but no cleaning folks monitoring the gate areas which I think is warranted, Also, there are no lounges yet in Terminal 1, so to access a lounge, you'd have walk to Terminal 2. That's a little bit of a bummer. I'm not sure if there are plans for a lounge here, but I hope there are... This was not a terrible place to spend a few hours waiting for our flight, and there were little touches here & there like the music & drink sampling that made this experience a little more enjoyable and less taxing.
