When I arrived I was sat in a chair immediately because I wanted a pedicure. I waited in the chair for about 30 minutes, they were very apologetic for my wait but I had planned time to wait, so it wasn't a big deal. The lady Esme that did my toes did not rush at all. She took her time and made sure to make me feel relaxed. There was a 7 minute massage for my legs and she set a timer to actually make sure she did it for the correct amount of time. The gel polish is holding up very nicely too. The whole atmosphere was very calming and clean. It smelled nice and the massage chairs were new and very comfortable with a lot of massage settings. They also had FREE drinks available. I am very happy with my choice nail salon. Again, Esme was my lady and she was awesome! read more

I really enjoyed my experience here. My nail tech was great. He was friendly and the experience was quiet and relaxing. I felt he did an excellent job on my pedicure. Unfortunately the next day my toe started getting red and by the second day I could barely walk I was in so much pain. I developed an infection and was on 10 days of antibiotics. Almost had to have it lanced open to relieve the pus. I get ingrown toenails, and he worked on the edges quite a bit. I've never had this happen before. I'm not sure if it was a fluke or if something wasn't properly sanitized. I was disappointed because I planned to go back. read more

Super nice and informative lady did my nails! However shellac turned out bumpy with dips. Also had lifting after 5ish days when I can get 2 weeks from a proper application. When I mentioned the uneven bubbly nail look she told me that it was because my nail beds were uneven from the acrylic nails I had previously. My normally frequented salon always does my nails well, acrylic or shellac or both. I'd say this salons polish was old and tacky and her technique was mediocre. P.s. i came here for the very first time, wanting to get a pedicure & i came in thinking i'd get to choose which one i wanted, cuz i thought all salons do give you an option. vip doesn't. they have 2 options a regular & a deluxe but they don't tell you that... they just do the regular which only consists of toenail clipping & cleaning. if i had known you had to know about the deluxe i would have asked for it but how was i supposed to know if i've never been here... even better i look over see this other girl getting a nice massage and exfoliation so i ask the nail stylist if she got the deluxe & no she got the regular.... so i'm very confused on how this salon runs.... read more

I've never even had a bad manicure in my life until I came here. Horrible. They have very old bottles of polish they need to shake repeatedly. The gel colors available are crazy. Green, black, white, hot pink. We're not all teenagers here. The worst part was having the polish buckle up and begin to peel after 48 hours. Gel should last 3 weeks and be hard instead of soft and doughy. I'll never be back, not even to get a refund. read more

I'm kind of picky about my pedicure places (I used to work with someone who was a licensed nail care specialist and she told me horror stories of salons that didn't properly wash and care for their tubs, jets, and tools). This place is clean, very friendly, decently priced for the quality (I think it's like $25 for a basic pedicure, up to $40 for the most deluxe option), and it's open on Sundays (which is a huge and hard-to-find perk in my experience). I've been there a few times now, and consistently, they take the longest time on you, pampering, massaging, and doing the job thoroughly of anywhere I've ever been. Their massage chairs that you sit in are also top notch and they have a vast selection of colors and brands for the polish. Also there's a Starbucks next to it if you like to combine your luxury experiences with caffeine like me. read more

This place is fantastic! The salon is beautiful-- very clean and spacious. They have a ton of colors to choose from. The standard pedicure came with the option for a razor of dead skin, as well as pumice scrub, sugar scrub and a long massage. It was easily the best pedicure I've ever had. This is a great nail salon. I moved to Wichita a year ago from Boston & am pretty spoiled when it comes to services. I've been to two other nail places in Wichita, and VIP is by far superior. The place is spotless, the staff friendly and attractive. I was a last-minute walk-in, arriving a half hour before closing time, and they didn't rush me whatsoever. Pedicure and manicure both include massage, and the pedicure also includes a salt scrub. My nails look terrific. Highly recommended! read more

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I've never been so disappointed in a nail salon. The inside is beautiful and when I first walked in, was very happy. I went in for a full set and walked out with shellac. The first gentlemen told me it was better for my nails but my nails are already ugly and I've gotten my nails done for about 10 years so it would make sense I know what I like. The gentlemen complained in front of me the entire time about having to help me. The second woman who helped me was very nice and did her best job to make my nails look good. Still, I ended up walking out with nails that make my fingers look like nubs and still paid $38 for a shellac that was disgusting. I will be calling the better business bureau to report them. Never been so upset. I created a yelp account to try to warn people before they go there. Called another salon and got my nails fixed right away. read more

This place is great! The manicurists are so nice and friendly, they do a great job every time and are accommodating. They spend a good amount of time on your pedicure too! My legs feel great after they get scrubbed and massaged, and my nails always look great too. If you are going with a friend, I recommend making an appointment so that they will be expecting you, especially if it's during their slower hours because they don't have as many staff. read more

do not go to VIP if you like customer service.. my nails are alright i guess ( other than my saw-ed off cuticles thanks to my nail tech. ) the girl who did my soak off kept trying to get my to buy different services, which i get, their a business, but there should be a limit. then the guy who did my full set, did not say one word to me the entire time, told me he could not do my design ( it was just a black & white ying/yang sign?) made my cuticles bleed by how hard he was filing them and with the electronic filer. when he wanted me to go wash my hands, instead of saying that, he just pointed at the sink.. same as when he wanted me to go sit under the dryer. just pointing? they were closing shop and i was the last one in & they were being overly dramatic with their closing duties & looking at me every 5 seconds as if id get the hint and leave. by the time they were sick of waiting for my nails to dry, which wasnt in my control, the guy finally just handed me my purse and my jacket not to mention my nails werent even dry..... wont be going back to say the least. read more
