Let me first say, the service i received was better than some other salons I've been to. Jay did a great job and did what he could with my nails, considering the last salon messed them up. Salon was clean and tidy. I really liked the aesthetics overall. The reason I gave 3 instead of 5 stars is because I think they overcharged for the service is received on my toes. They removed gel polish off three toes and shaped the rest for me. Something that took less than 4 minutes and charged me $15 for that. Which is 30% of the dip nail cost. The lady who did my worked on my toes also would not take no for answer when I declined a pedicure or color. Overall, I may return for Jay to do my nails again but I may get a pedicure or other services done elsewhere because the pricing seems skewed and not fair. read more

This is a great new addition to the area. There are 14 adult pedi chairs, 2 hello kitty kids pedi chairs and 12 mani stations. They do offer gel, dip and acrylic nail options. Don't forget a free drink while you're here! My dad got a basic pedi and he said they did a good job on his "old" feet. I came and got my own pedi here too, and I'll be back for another. Wow. Never again. The girl who was doing my nails was not only shaking so bad, she literally cut every single cuticle! I can't even wash my hands without my fingers literally burning. There was a guy in there BLASTING some soap opera on his phone speaker obnoxiously while working. My friend and I could barely hold a conversation It was so loud. Lastly, I got gel x... that are in the shape of almond already... however, I was charged an extra $5 for shape?!?!? Someone please make that make sense to me? I also got charged an extra $15 for cuticle cleaning? Isn't that already included when you get your nails done? Don't go here... it's so bad. I got a pedicure by Tina and wanted to give her a hug after! Maybe the best pedicure I've ever had. It was so relaxing and she really took her time. I, admittedly, went in just an hour before close and got the longest pedicure, so I was worried she would rush through it. She stayed a half hour late and took her time. I offered to pay so they could close the register or whatever they may need to do because I felt rude, but she just assured me to relax over and over. You can tell she really understands massage because even when my calves were wrapped in towels she rubbed my thighs to maximize my experience, which I've never had done at a pedicure before. She really made me feel so at peace. I highly recommend Tina and I will be back to see her soon read more

I will start by saying I have had multiple pedicures here and have not had any major issues. Quality is hit/miss depending on tech but overall ok. 6 weeks ago I went in for a gel manicure and was advised I should get dipped powder instead bc of how one nail looked. I did, it was super thick but it lasted almost 4 weeks before the growth looked bad. I returned and asked if I could get it again but I did not like how thick it was. The tech said he can do thinner powder with gel polish on top. He did it- it began chipping (nail and polish) after only a couple days. I returned today- a little over a week later to get my nails done before vacation. I explained to the tech my last 2 experiences & tell them I am open to other options but would like it last more than a few days for the cost but also least damaging for my nails since they tell me my nails are now super thin and poor condition from the powder. She removes powder and asks what color- I tell her something nude or light so the growth isn't super visible. She said my nails are too damaged for that and that I need to take vitamins and something about rooster oil. So I say- okay what service can I get that's not going to damage them further. (I have only had regular and gel polish and no polish at all for months before the powder dipped done here so my nails were healthy and normal except for the one that had pits from psoriasis) she tells me there's no service that will make me happy. I'm thinking there's been a miscommunication and that she thinks I'm upset or something- so I explain I am not upset; I don't want to leave with bare scuffed up nails and would at least like a polish to hide how bad they now look. I ask if she can fix the uneven filed edges and she literally hands me the file and says you fix. I'm pretty much in shock but thinking okay...so I filed my jagged edges and ask if she can clean up the cuticles since they look bad. She tells me no- they're too dry.... "You go take vitamins." I'm stunned. (Unrelated side note I take hair skin nail vitamins and collagen daily...but they obviously can't combat a shady nail salon powder job). Im realizing things are somehow fading quickly at this point. I ask her if she can just do a normal polish. They converse to one another in a diff language and then she says "I no polish." So shocked, I pay and then leave (with my daughter who got gel nails without issue...) I am horrified with my nails looking this way- so I go to Noir and ask them if there's anything that can be done with my cuticles or nails or if I need to leave them bare or what- i tell them what was just said to me. They were shocked to hear of my experience and took me in immediately after seeing they can indeed fix my nails. I got an express manicure where my cuticles are cleaned up and my nails are polished. Without incident or issue. No clue what went wrong with I nails but I can tell you they don't customers and I will never return there. read more

I went to this place on a whim and omg i'm in love with the nails they gave me. They did a layer of acrylic to keep the gel strong and did it in like an hour with such good precision. They feel natural and not clunky. They also gave me a lil blanket for the pedicure. Highly recommend. read more

I am new to the area and I have been trying every nail place around. I came in for a dip with cuticle care. Upon leaving, my nails looked great. I had made an appt for 4pm and they were about 20 minutes late to wrap my nails and didn't actually start on my nails until about 4:45. Well, here I am about 8 days in and the clear coat started cracking the day after and now almost every finger has a cracked clear coat. Probably won't be going back. Also, not to mention while I was there a technician raised his voice at a customer who was brought in by her daughter and was confused about what service she was getting (there was a language barrier). It's never okay to speak poorly to a customer. read more

Tram is amazing with my pedicures, always cleaning everything up so well where other places would not be so in detail. I'm really picky with how white gel is done and she does it perfectly. This salon has great potential, so I am providing feedback while hoping it will help improve my future experiences. First, it's conveniently located on Hwy 29 west of Reagan, so it's easy to get to from the western edge of Georgetown where we live. Second, the decor of the salon is quite lovely with a peaceful and spa-like atmosphere (unlike another salon I visited today), even to the extent that it would behoove them to show more photos of their lovely salon and fewer of the nails. Third, the assortment of OPI nail colors available for customers to choose seems somewhat limited, with few metallics if any to choose from. Fourth, the first time I went, the pedicure was decent and lasted several weeks, but the second time I went, the pedicure lasted less than a month, which might be an indicator that nails and cuticles weren't sufficiently trimmed. Hopefully, going forth I will experience improvements to the pedicure experiences I have had, but the salon itself deserves a special note of appreciation. read more

Wanted to give my business to a new nail salon. I had high hopes for this place. I noticed all reviews were from 5 months ago but were decent. I went in on Sunday around 11:45. I only had to wait 10 minutes to get started which was great. I sit down and the guy who came over to do my nails was rushing me from the get go. Didn't offer me anything to drink not even a water. Sat me down and just start chipping away at my nails and using the drill too fast causing pain and it was extremely hot and uncomfortable. I asked for a deep French tip. He proceeded to tell me it would be $61 which the math wasn't mathing. Upon calling it was $43 for a fill and $8 for French tip. That's $51.. so he added $10 extra for no reason. Then proceeds to tell me to NOT get French tip to just do plain color because of "my nails". Nothing is wrong with them. Just basic acrylic nails... so I said Ok...why?? No reply from him. He then tried to persuade me to do this "opal white" color but I wasn't fond of it. I nicely said could I see different colors and he had the audacity to say "oh since you don't like the color I showed I don't know what to do for you!!" Just because I didn't want the color HE chose for me right off the bat doesn't mean I have to get it. He made me super uncomfortable. I asked for a white pink color and wanted very squared nails. I got the exact opposite. I've never had someone talk to me this way or to not give me what I asked for. They don't do anything besides just the nails. No cuticle oil, no lotion on your hands. Nothing. Definitely not worth the money or time. I had high hopes for this place as it's close by and it's very pretty inside but the guy ruined it completely. Do yourself a favor and maybe steer clear. I know there are tons of nail salons popping up in this area. The other options are probably better. So if you want to get a bad experience come here. If not, go support another salon that deserves it. read more
