I just wanted some peace and quiet and down time while the masseuse did her thing. However, before the massage began she felt the need to inform me that she was upset because she had just broken up with her boyfriend etc etc. this immediately made me start rethinking the entire thing. Instead of the relaxed experience I'd been looking forward to, I felt the need to comfort her and play therapist for an hour. I did not leave feeling relaxed. I knew I couldn't write my review based on that first experience. So I waited and stewed a bit because I paid over $100 dollars for a massage and I left feeling even more tense and not relaxed at all. For my birthday this year, a friend presented me with a gift card for this spa and I decided to give it another shot. I went in on March 13, my appointment was scheduled for 4pm with Dakoda. He'd be giving me a deep tissue massage. During the foot soak he asked me some basic questions like the amount pressure I wanted applied and where I wanted most of the focus; which was of course my neck and shoulders. Dakoda was AMAZING! So professional and kind. I never felt at risk of being exposed or uncomfortable. He ensured the sheet kept my lady parts completely covered and he was very gentle when handling/moving my limbs to adjust. He focused heavily on my neck and shoulders and back as requested and I could feel the tension melting away. He should have those hands insured! There was no unnecessary chitchat, which I appreciated as an introvert. He's the only person I want massaging me. I am looking forward to booking with him again. I just cannot compliment him enough. All of the amenities at this spa are really nice and it's a very calm and tranquil environment. I am so glad I gave it another chance. Dakoda rescued my view/opinion of Spa Lux!

She used a brass or metal object not her hands for the massage. Where this bruise is exactly where metal joins bone. Aggi explained that I would have to go through pain before my arm got better. I just feel that she was neglect in my health and pain caused to me. I wasn't sure what I should do. Just a heads up to others.

She is so good she listens to you she'll tell you if she doesn't think your idea is going to look good on you and give you other ideas. The other thing that's awesome about her is she has been helping me grow out my hair. Usually stylist want to cut it but she was the first one I had that said no will just take a little bit off and we can grow this hair out. She gave me tricks and techniques to help me, and now my hair is in the best condition of my life. She's very honest, and very reasonable I love the salon everybody that works here has been so kind and professional. She has been helping me grow out my hair and has an amazing knowledge of the science of hair, which is so fascinating to me. Lily is the best, hands-down!

I finally started coming back to this Bixby location they built closer to my house. This was my 3rd visit at the Bixby location. I had a bad customer service experience. I did not complain to the manager. But she heard about it, called to apologize, and she made it right. Pros: I will definitely be coming back here. I like the services I get (waxing and tinting). They do a really good job with my eyebrows. Much better than other places I've been going to. Clean. The customer service is typically very good. Scheduling is easy and convenient.
