Worse nail job ever!!! I can't tell you how disappointed I am. Not to mention dirty! Needs make over bad!

I got overcharged and my feet were bleeding after the pedicure. I told her I wanted the basic which was $25 but they ended up doing something that was $45 instead, and charged me and extra $10 for the other person I was with They didn't do a great job, my feet were bleeding after. Felt like I was being tortured, not pampered.....My worst nail experience ever. Went in for pedicure and full set acrylics. My pedicure was sub par at best but seemed like a dream once I was seated for my manicure and was put with a different woman. Once she started applying my nails my pinky nail started burning and I told her but she continues to apply the rest of the nails and then put some rubbing alcohol on my pinky nail (didn't reapply nail or anything, there was so much nail glue stuck to my finger underneath and she didn't bother to remove it before I left either) the whole time she was applying acrylic powder she was laughing and pulling my hands all the was across the table and over her lap so that she could sit relaxed and keep chatting. Whenever done with my hands she would basically throw them out of the way for the other. Then the filling began..... she filed so hard that it dug into my skin and she cut me on multiple fingers, with my fingers bleeding and me pulling away she kept filing aggressively. It's hard for me to be assertive towards people servicing me, but even the times I did tell her it was hurting she just kept on going. I wish I had just gotten up and asked to either leave or have a different person because the process literally brought me to TEARS it HURT SO BAD! I just wanted to get it over with, before applying polish I was not asked to wash hands, and I had a ton of filing dust all over my hands, she just painted over it, kept getting polish on my fingers, and when I told her I was bleeding she put rubbing alcohol on the cuts. What the hell. This was a manicure from hell, I felt like I was being tortured not pampered, she clearly did not care about anything and I rushed to pay my 93$ bill and leave. I want to call and put in a complaint about her or at least be refunded my money. Nails don't even look good either. read more

This was the worst eyebrow wax I ever had anywhere. She was rushed, didn't trim and didn't seem to care. On top of that it was expensive. Big mistake going here. read more

I have been coming to VIP nails for at least 15 years and I LOVE this place! They are friendly, quick, and do a great job!! Priced fairly also!! Recommend VIP to anyone that asks or comments on my nails ...which is often! read more

The salon has a beautiful atmosphere, but that's just about all it has. My pedicures are always very rushed and done with impatient hands, and my manicures have been sub par at best. Today, the woman doing my nails cut me so badly that I'm bleeding 2 hours later. This is not the first time that this has happened. I recommend you go elsewhere for your nails. read more

I would leave zero stars if that were possible! I absolutely do not recommend this place to anyone. Save your money and go elsewhere in the area that actually care about your nails and overall experience within their establishment. To start off with, there was no real welcome into the salon and direction to pick out color for whatever you were getting. I was personally getting a dip manicure and a pedicure with color change (the usual wherever I go for my nails). I was instructed towards the back to pick out the dip colors straight from the container that I wanted, no sample nails with each of the colors they had (strike 1). Then when I sat down at the pedicure massage chairs the horror started. They don't line the area where your feet with any sort of barrier (usually a plastic bag) and then a lady began to do my DIP NAILS (which is in itself a process) as the gentleman was trying to do my pedicure. Honestly, it was as awful as it sounds. In no way was it relaxing, especially when they do individuals working on my nails and feet were constantly talking in their native language and asking me a few questions within their conversation. They completely blocked me from speaking with my friend who I was there getting my nails with. That was strike 2. Then once the pedicure was done, I was moved to one of the manicure stations and the lady proceeded to do my dip nails. There was actually a poster right behind her that stated all the steps to the dip polish process and how it's better for your nails....especially an emphasis on how a UV light is not used at all in the whole process and how it's all easily removed with an acetone soak (keep this all in mind). The lady didn't seem to be trained in dip polish in general as she constantly would be unsatisfied with her own work especially with it constantly sticking to my skin. She then proceeded to use a UV light to dry it all....something of which dip polish doesn't need. The nails were throbbing by the end of the whole time there with it being stuck to my skin in multiple areas around the nail. I asked for her to fix a few areas that were obviously messed up and she insisted that it would all fall out on it's own....which it didn't (strike 3). I then proceeded to pay for the whole thing and she stated a price much higher than what I was told while sitting in the pedicure massage chair. The receipt doesn't provide any breakdown of the cost of each treatment. Upon removal of the nail polish about 3 weeks later with the acetone soak, the nail polish wasn't even affected. To keep it short, I basically had to cut off the thick layer of polish because of the UV light that was used. This whole removal process left my with basically no nails as my natural nail underneath was completely ruined. Overall, I am extremely dissatisfied with the whole experience at VIP and will not be returning ever. I will also make sure to let everyone who asks me about this place know about the awful experience I had. Please save your money and spend it elsewhere that actually cares about their clients! read more

I went to get my brows waxed.. just to clean up the fuzzy hair around my brows... I even pointed to where I wanted between my brows and at the end of each of them waxed . not reshaped at all.. I like my brow shape very natural..when they finish on my left brow in the middle of it all the brow was gone. they are so narrow they looked drawn on like old movie stars..and they don't even match each other . When I was upset and asked why she would do that she said they were wide brows !! Yes like I like them... this is the craziest thing I have ever seen.. to fix they wanted to dye my brows black I am a blue eyed Blond. I made a comment it wouldn't look bad with my hair and they suggested dying my hair black.. YES the truly did..The mgr was to busy working to be bother with my brows. please please don't go there they are poor business people and lousy workers.. Oh yea Class reunion in KC next week. I'm so upset my fun day off ended up being a disaster... read more
