We have a love hate relationship with this place. We've been going here for 2 years, boarding our dog at least 3x. The first two times they still had their policy in place that they'd send pictures of our pet everyday when they were let out. We would have to call and beg for these pictures! Even when we did receive the first set of pictures, the next day they "took him out" they sent us the SAME picture from the previous day. When we dropped him off we asked about pictures again but now their policy has changed. They now post pictures on their Facebook for us to see. As soon as I checked their Facebook the most recent picture was 6 days ago!! Their reasoning for changing the policy was because people kept calling them for pictures since they weren't receiving them. We boarded him for 5 full days, one day being a holiday, and we did not see a picture of our pet. Although I don't agree with the harassing calls, pet parents are entrusting you with their loved ones. It's extremely hard to trust them when they don't even follow their own policies and we're left in the dark about our pets well being. read more

Our little frenchy was returned with a concussion and dislocated hip. She was dropped by one of the teenaged handlers as I was picking her up. The owner of VIP denied responsibility and refused to help with the 700 dollar vet bill. Disappointing. Do not recommend. read more

STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS! I would give NEGATIVE 100 if I could. So to start my story, we have a 7 1/2 month old Choc Lab. Very friendly and overly energetic! We had arrangements made for our baby to stay with a family member but due to unforeseen circumstances last minute we needed to make other arrangements. Brought him in for a 1/2 day day care to meet everyone and it went well. Dropped him off on Thursday, 07/07 around 1:30 p.m with his bed, toys, food & treats for 10 days. I requested (3) extra services EACH DAY to help elevate being locked up in a cage all day. Each activity was $8 each per day, so I was told I would pay for 2 days and get the 3rd day free ( each activity ). So with a 10 day stay I would pay for 7 days and get 3 free. Was also told I can call in to check on him as much as I would like. First couple days I would call and had to leave a message. After several hours I finally got a call back with 1 of the employees being rather rude when I asked how he was doing with his eating - with an attitude she said fine ?? Fine, what does that mean - he ate 1 meal a day, he hasn't eaten in 2 days - WHAT ?? Fast forward a couple of days, I called in again and asked how he was doing and was told he was very energetic and just came in from playing an 1.5 hrs outside , mind you this is florida in July at 2 in the afternoon with the temps over 90 degrees !! Fast forward again to the day we pick him up on Sunday morning at 8:30 am 07-17-22. They brought me his bed, not washed and reeked of urine, so that went straight in the trash. Had to ask for his toys and remaining food. She told me the total and I was completely shocked, as I was expecting it to be around 475 - 525, the total was $ 324. His weight size ( 80 lbs) was $ 30 per day, plus the 25 extra for 7 days. I didn't argue, I just wanted to get him out of there. When I get home and look over the bill - out of the 10 days he was there he had the nature walk 2x, play yard 4x and pool / hose time 2x. When i requested all of these EACH DAY! so basically he was let out of his cage 1 x per day ??? and not at all on other days ( i am only guessing on this one ) since they don't have camera we could not check. ( another reason to avoid this place, with todays technology what are they hiding ) This is appalling not to mention animal abuse to leave them locked up like that all day. I knew he would be locked up at night from 5;30'ish - 8 the next morning, which I hated but didn't have a choice. When they brought him out to us, you could smell the flea bath they gave him, the odor was extremely strong. Get him home and noticed a dry cough. So on Monday morning call my vet & brought him in. Sure enough he has KENNEL COUGH. he is on steroids' & antibiotic. I called and spoke with the manager Tammy, and informed her of the kennel cough! she said she was sorry but they do their best to disinfect! WTF - if you knew you had a dog with kennel cough, they should have shut down the place, put all the dogs on medication and not take any more in until it was all cleared up. You don't continue to take in pets knowing you have a contagious infection going around! Double WTF !!!! Later in the afternoon he is sleeping on his back with his legs sprawled out and I look down and his genitals are all red inflamed and looks like something either bit the crap out of him or burn/ rash. There are no marks anywhere else, just his genitals. So I call my vet again, After seeing him again, he stated that was due to being left in his own feces for extended periods ( sitting on the floor) and/or a harsh chemicals. ( so basically they burned my dogs balls !!! ) I don't have children, so my pets are my children. If you love your babies as much as I cherish mine, DO NOT GO TO THIS FACILITY, PERIOD ! read more

We have boarded our little buddy here several times, and have been very pleased overall. It's exactly what you would expect. When you make an appointment and show up, they are there and have a record of your appointment. Other places we have left our dog when we got home he seemed as if he had been traumatized. One of the places we had boarded him he actually was urine-soaked when we picked him up (that was a place outside of the State of FL), which was an absolute nightmare and completely inexcusable. Who knows how long my little guy would've been there if I hadn't called. Then when I got there, they were kinda snooty with me. Plus, they clearly did not clean the crust from his eyes. Brought my mini-schnauzer in for grooming. Wanted them to bathe her and give her a haircut. They charged $50! For the service which is average price. I would say they didn't do the best job following our instructions which was to leave her beard long and just clean it up. Instead they kinda chopped it and left it uneven to the point my wife had to fix it when we got home. The rest of the cut was uneven with longer patches. I will say that the mini-schnauzer cuts is probably one of the harder ones so we are used to having some type of issue every time we get her groomed, and we've had worse but I would say we probably won't bring her back unfortunately. The staff seemed nice enough and were very friendly so that was definitely a bright spot. read more

Not a bad place for you pets vacation. We have used it several times for both grooming and boarding. It's super convenient since it's outside our subdivision. No 24 hour attendant so if this is a concern you should look elsewhere. My dog always seemed to enjoy it. read more

We have used this place since 2002. We have never had any issues at all. My dogs are excited when we get there and to me, that's the best sign that they are treated well. We have one dog that is high anxiety around other dogs and strangers so we use the private suites and she does much better in there. read more

Great experience boarding my two Labrador retrievers! I love that you can have add-on experiences, such as extra play time and even a swimming pool for water loving dogs. My Yorkshire Terrier is usually very anti-social, but she enjoys the beautiful walks (we were given photos) and grooming (it helps when we don't have time). It does cost extra for those amenities, however. Overall, I have been a long-time customer and am thoroughly pleased with the service and care my Yorkie has been given. While vacationing in Florida earlier this year my wife and I wanted to board our two German Shepard for a few days so we could ride our Harley's and enjoy Daytona Bike Week. My one German Shepherd has severe allergies and requires a special diet and medication. So we are extremely protective on where we leave them. We where greeted and assured by the staff that they would take excellent care of our dogs. They did just that. Our dogs stayed in one of there luxury rooms with a private yard. When we picked them up they provided us with pictures of our dogs playing ball and a full doggie report card. If you are a over protected animal owner this is the place to leave your fury family member and not have to worry. We are very unhappy with your services provided to Riley the past few days. My wife picked him up today at 9:30 am paid $148 and brought home one nasty dirty, mouth sore dog. $105 for boarding, $17 for grooming and $10 for nature walk. THERE WAS NO GROOMING. When we dropped him off we gave the lady instructions on his feeding and his medicines (he has food allergies).. She made us pay a fee for his meds and assured us he would have gotten his medicine during his visit. We even dropped off his vet prescribed food and it looks as if none of it was given to him. He has some really nasty mouth sores that are open and surly caused from food or treats given to him. We told the lady up front he has food allergies and gave instructions to feed him only his food 1 cup 3x a day. Its obvious that was not followed or he would not have the sores on his mouth. They were not there when we dropped him off. He was not even given his medicine as we instructed. The pill box has just a few taken out of it. Needless to say, we are very unhappy about this visit. Why charge all those extra fees if you are not going to follow through with your charges. He was not given any grooming and his medicines and prescribed food regime was not followed either. He is very happy to be home and we are glad he is safe but we won't be taking Riley or recommending your service to others. I felt bad enough bringing him to a kennel and then to find him in this kind of shape is sickening. We should have taken the tour of this kennel and I highly recommend you do so before dropping off your pooch or cat. I sure wish we had. Not happy. Dog came home with kennel cough, (even though vaccinated), and diarrhea. I know vaccine is not 100% guaranteed, but I've never had a problem before. Bath was not great either, it was like they hosed it down and sprayed perfume. Dog has been there before without a problem, but I'm never going there again. read more

We were forced to quickly find a place to board our standard poodle due to a weight limit of under 30 lbs. that was not disclosed to us prior to our arrival in the area. The staff was friendly, helpful, and sympathetic to our situation. They called our vet back at home to get our dog's information and gave us a tour when we arrived to show us around. It was spur of the moment and the place was clean and odorless, as I am extremely sensitive to pet odor! The women explained everything to our satisfaction and we felt as comfortable as anyone could in leaving your pet at a new place for the first time. We'll know better in the future and can make arrangements to leave him at home, but we would definitely use VIP again if the need arises! read more

My two dogs are usually extremely skittish and hyperactive, and one of them usually cannot stand strangers. However, this pet hotel is very understanding and simple, and good to the pets. My dogs handle the staff very well. Prices are fair, and grooming services are great. Good if you are going away on an extended trip, but make sure you reserve your pet's stay ahead of time--you don't want it to be full. Been taking my pets here since road to it was a dirt road all the way from Taylor Rd down Williamson back in the seventies. I got a few of my pups here and loved them for years. I also had them cut my dogs hair everytime I was in the area. Too bad there is not one of these in our area. Staff very helpful and nice. They watch all of your family pet needs. Dogs, Cats, Elderly pets even the occasional bird or bunny. Just ask - they will do it. Kennels are indoor! There are NO grates or wire mesh that the dogs or cats stand on! They have a Kattery building with outdoor play areas that you can request. they play the radio to help soothe the pets. Dog Kennels are in a block building with tile floors throughout which helps keep it cool durring the hot Florida Summers. Kennels are separated with a block wall between each one. There are 4 kennel size options to choose from. Each pets gets a "lift form" to keep them off the floor and a blanket or soft throw to lay on. Upgrade your family members stay to a Luxury Deluxe Appartment which is a private room in a separte building with a private yard and exterior window and a puppy cot for a bed. Or you can choose their Deluxe Master Suite which is the size of a bedroom with a private yard and 3 exterior windows, twin size bed, loveseat and many soft stuffed throws. Dogs are let out separately in the morning and afternoon. If you want extra trips outside just let them know - they will do it. They offer extra services like Nature Walks, Agility Play Yard, even Special Dinners and in the summer they have a Pup Pool so they can cool off. Check them out! read more

I was considering boarding my cat here until I took a tour of the facility. The two main buildings where they house the dogs smelled so bad I had to hold my breath walking thru to the back where the "cat" shack is located. And it is just a small building, very dark, dank, and smelled like cat poop. The outdoor "patios" are small enclosed caged areas - one in full sun, one that is behind the building and shady. I almost cried to think of someone leaving a beautiful feline in this facility, let alone a dog. I would never board a cat OR dog here. My visit upset me for the rest of the day and wonder how people can leave their pet at this facility with a good conscience. read more
