If you are interested in working with a company that won't stand behind their poor quality work, this is the company for you! The front bumper obviously has poor installation issues. The inside edge of the door where it meets the fender wasn't installed well either. Take a look at their tint job, some of it is peeling and some aren't even tinted to the edge of the window. Makes sense why they undercut their competitors pricing. I contacted them to get these issues resolved, Moises said he would cover these issues but the manager Angela told me they can trim their errors as a fix. The car is only 3 years old and there's a 10 year warranty on the clear PPF and lifetime warranty on the tint. UPDATE 4/13/25 - Tristan, i am surprised of the company's response. Based on what was told to my husband, VIP Recon was just going to call Yelp and have this review removed. Had someone actually said to us what you offered here, maybe we could have worked something out. However, based on the tone over the phone, businesses are always right and customers are always wrong...so good luck with the future growth. We are working with Expel directly now on compensations for the poor workmanship, so no point to hash out the details here anymore. Contacted them through yelp for full tint job (windshield, all windows and a seamless rear window) on a new model 3 and was assisted by Tristan promptly. Keep in mind I had my model Y done by another shop locally that quoted me nearly 2x as much for my model 3. VIP Recon was 1 of the 5 shops I sent a request of quotes and they were by far the most affordable for the same job and same quality tint (XPEL). They were able to get me in the next morning and got the job done in a very timely manner compared to my model Y previously from another shop. "My own account: " Wow, where do I even start? If you're looking for a place to spend $1200 and leave with your car looking like it just survived a sandstorm, then boy, do I have the place for you! After what I assume was a leisurely two-hour nap in my car (based on the precision of the tint job), I got my keys back and couldn't help but be amazed. It's almost like they deliberately applied the tint with their eyes closed! Sun peering in ? Oh, yes Uneven edges? You betcha! And those beautiful smudges? A nice touch, really. I should have read the fine print really , at least that's what they told me , and After my payment was taken.lol When I politely pointed out these "minor" issues, I was met with a LoOOoonnnGG story , (which i should have popcorn to listen to ) about how it will not be fixed .
