I let them grow back for about 3 years, but they were still very sparse and no growth products were helping anymore. I heard of microblading, did some research and found Mbrowz online. She seemed to be the best in the Toledo area, so I contacted her. The first (free) consultation (about 30 min) was to determine if microblading was a good option for my eyebrows and if so, choose their final shape. I was stressed because, well, it is my face on the line and there is no way to go back if something goes wrong in the process... Mehrnaz was very understanding and reassured me. The second appointment was for the microblading itself (about 2 hours). Everything went great! I was very happy with the results, even though it took me a few days to get used to having eyebrows again :) About a month later (after healing), I went back a third time to do the touch-up and some shading so my eyebrows look fuller (about 2 hours). Her work space is modern, comfortable, and very clean. Now, my eyebrows have completely healed, they look amazing and natural. I live in the neighborhood and was tired of driving 45 minutes to get my hair done. I keep my hair bright platinum blonde. As I get older, it gets harder for my hair to pull without damage or brassiness. She did better than my blonding specialist that I payed twice as much for. The salon itself is locally owned, clean, comfortable and has a great neighborhood vibe. They offer a ton of services including massage, headspa, nail services and more. I couldn't be happier with Leah. A few of the other stylists can be a bit overbearing- but I think they are just trying to "help" a less experiences stylist. Because she's fresh to the game she has a very different approach to her clients. I know my hair. I hate when I go to a new "experienced" stylist and they assume they know how to lift and tone my hair. They refuse to listen, and I either leave with purple gray hair or orange tiger stripes. Leah listens, and actually got the specific charcoal bleach that has been a godsend for my course, curly, stubborn hard to lift hair. If you want a high-end quality salon experience without the high-end quality salon price, She is a great way to get in and get the same experience without the insane price tag. I tried beauty bar a few years ago and was a bit underwhelmed with the experience and overwhelmed at the price. I'm so glad I came back after seeing her work on some local community sites and contacting her on FB. She got me in quickly and this is my third trip back.
