At my local VIP Tires & Srvc. in Windham Center getting new winter tires on my '02 VW Jetta 2.0L. Waiting in the waiting room enjoying a coffee from the keurig they have with kcups supplied as well. All good things to say about the srvc & ppl here thus far, I had set-up the appt for first thing this am when we came in late yesterday afternoon, they were a bit busy at the time so couldn't do it then as planned so we set it up for first thing the next morning (this am) to avoid them getting busy with the rush & have an even longer wait then normal. The appt set-up went smoothly & it was an all around good price for the tires. As soon as they put the car up on the lift, before even TOUCHING my tires what so ever, my rear passenger side coil spring fell out of the car (1 piece stayed stuck in the frame while the 2nd larger piece fell out) so now I have to replace my rear coil springs while I'm at it, adding a cpl hundred more to my tab for the day LoL BUT....It's fairly priced & needs to be done ASAP since I can't even put the broken spring back in & even if SOMEHOW they could figure out how to piece it back together, it wouldn't be wise to drive on that LoL they have taken good care of us so far & were sure to show us the broken part right after they discovered it was broken (as it fell on them as they lifted the car to get ready to change the tires) while also informing us of what we should get fixed in the near future. On the morning of 11.10.17 I had a right front tire go down on my 2004 Civic Si. I went to the tire dealership where I have previously purchased several full sets of tires for this car. I had four appointments ahead of me that morning in conjunction with my job and did not want to cancel any of them if necessary. The service person said that they could do something in three hours. That was not acceptable. I limped my car over to VIP where over the years I have purchased items and maybe a couple of tires many years ago. In walking up to the desk I was greeted by a young man who eagerly asked how he could help me. I told him what I needed and we went out to look at the tire and collect some information from my car. I leveled with him about the other service center and that I felt bad in never having bought tires from them...at least recently. He said that this is not a problem and would have my car into the garage to see what was up with my tire in about 15 minutes. The tire was repairable and I was on my way in about 45 minutes. I am sorry to say that I do not have the young man's first name of I would certainly acknowledge it here. My own job requires the utmost customer service and when I receive it myself I want to praise it. Thank you VIP in Windham for not only getting my car back on the road but making my day! Scott P. My wife called me at work in the morning saying one of her tires was at 9lbs (Should be 33lbs), the tire was replaced with a donut spare (By AAA). I called VIP to see if we could have the tire looked at. They said they were busy, but would try if we could drop off the tire. My wife dropped off the tire after leaving her work around 3pm. I left my work and drove to VIP to check on the status (Around 5:15pm). I spoke with Josh, and he advised me that they had not checked on it yet and would work on it first thing in the morning. I said I understood, the sooner the better would be appreciated, we needed the car as soon as possible and left. At around 5:40pm (They close at 6:00pm), Josh called and said they filled the tire with and checked for leaks and could not find any. He said I could pick up the tire. I lived right around the corner and returned to the store. Not only did they check the tire, they also mounted the tire back on the vehicle. Also, thanks to the technician David, who did the checking and mounted. When I went to pay, they said no charge, because they did not find any issues with the tire. They said to return if there are any other issues. This was excellent above and beyond service! read more

Oh, man. Where do I start? I needed rotors ASAP, because we're moving 800 miles to Virginia at the end of next week and I needed them to pass inspection. They got me in the very next day for an appointment, and the car was done in about 2 hours (just under 1.5 for the actual work, replacing both rear rotors AND an oil change - waited about a half an hour to get the car into the bay because of a drop-in customer who had gotten there shortly before I had). I was super strapped for cash, and Damian (who I think is the assistant manager) worked very closely with me to find all the discounts he could apply for it, and didn't charge me at all for the inspection sticker. Saved me close to $100 total, and was very polite and honest the entire time despite being obviously stressed from the backlog of customers AND training a new employee. Absolutely recommend this particular shop to anyone in the area needing service. They WILL work with you on cost and financing, and are very friendly and outgoing! read more

I appreciate the service received at VIP Windham, ME this weekend on my daughter's Jeep Grand Cherokee '02 4WD. We had the oil pan and serpentine belt replaced. I thought the main seal needed to be changed as well after 134K miles and a leak developing in rusted pan. I was pleasantly surprised when Matt called this morning saying the Technician found the main seal in good shape with being dry as a bone and no leaking onto fly wheel. Therefore, saving an additional $20 part and about $100 in labor. Their integrity meant a lot for an older vehicle with low miles getting my daughter thru college at UMO as a nursing student. She needs reliable safe transportation back and forth to classes and Bangor Hospital doing clinicals until graduates next year and gets the vehicle of her desires. My wife went in for a routine alignment and rotation. They discovered a bad tie rod which prohibited a proper alignment. They also noted that my power steering fluid was brown and needed replacement. Josh was good at sharing the rationale for these changes and I thought the work was offered at a fair price. Some shops look for work every time you go in for service.I have not found that to be true with VIP. When they point out an issue I often get a second opinion but I have learned that they can be trusted. I have respect for the mechanics and believe people like Troy and others are top notch! VIP is great. I have an older Jeep and I first took it to a dealership (Berlin City...on a free inspection deal they ran) and they told me I needed over $2,500 of work to be done in order to pass inspection. I was bummed but I saw VIP was running the same free offer on inspections and so I said let me get a second opinion and man am I happy I did that. I knew a brake light was out and they said I need two little bulbs on a few other spots which they told me about in a very professional manner and it cost me a total of $25.00!!! to pass inspection. I was as happy as anything when they told me that. They are honest people and do good work VIP does. read more

Honestly, I have nothing but good things to say about VIP services! I myself am no mechanic and would never be able to even put air in my own tires let alone change or rotate one haha! Every time I bring my vehicle there I always leave with what I needed done and sometimes even more. I've really noticed there attention to detail and making sure that I'm getting into a safe vehicle. I would most definitely recommend to anyone who has a vehicle to stop in for any services you may need done! This was my first experience with VIP. I brought in a vehicle I had just purchased that needed an inspection. My boyfriend and I were brought out to the garage and shown the plug in the wall of the tire, which didn't pass inspection. Matt Brown, the Manager, quoted us the price of a new tire and told us we had thirty days to replace it. There was no pressure or upselling, just great customer service with a smile. We wound up ordering the tire from them, which showed up the next morning, and by that afternoon I had a new tire and my vehicle passed inspection. They even accepted payment over the phone from the dealership. I will definitely be back! read more

I have been a customer at VIP Windham for the past few years...always get my tires and frequent oil changes (when not in for dealer service) and have had fabulous customer service! The counter staff, managers and technicians are all always super to deal with and very courteous. They take time explaining info pertinent to decisions that need to be made and I never feel like there's a hard sell headed my way, which is one of the reasons I keep going back. It feels like they are truly in the business of doing the best they can for their customers. The team here are hardworking, diligent and friendly. This is a really busy place and in my opinion they handle the volume and customers well. They have complimentary WIFI and a few seats to sit down with a tv and keurig coffee. Note if you are booking online the scheduling software online doesn't always connect to their system so if you book online call to confirm even if you get an email confirmation. I have been using them for my Lincoln MKZ for a year for basic oil changes and work on the tires and have been very happy. If you buy your tires here they waive the $80 seasonal changeover for the life of those tires. read more

Booking my appointment was effortless, as they were happy to schedule me and accommodate my vehicle's needs. During my appointment they kept communicating with me about the status of my vehicle, as I decided to stay and wait with my car. I purchased all season tires this past winter from VIP which performed exceptionally well. Recently, my car overheated on a Saturday and a mechanic at VIP immediately looked at my vehicle. Shopped around my area for tires last winter and VIP Windham not only offered the best quotes, but in my opinion went beyond and above to answer my questions and concerns. I returned for an oil change and again received great service from each and every employee there. It's not just a convenient location for me, but they offer consistently friendly and professional service. The only negative is how busy (popular?) they are so there is sometimes a wait if you just walk in (obviously), so I recommend you make an appointment. read more

I called ahead to schedule a state inspection. I showed up 15 min early. They took me right away. I asked them to check my tires if they had time and sure enough there was a nail in one of my tires. I had recently purchased these tires elsewhere and have a road hazard warranty. The VIP employees have always treated my family great and this time was no different. No pressure. Great advice. Had a problem doing the rear brakes on my '04 Honda Accord-a good friend offered to help but the piston would not retract. Called VIP on a Saturday at 4:00 pm-they close at 6:00 pm and thought I would not get in until Monday. Long story short-John got me in on time at 4:00 pm and out before 5:30 pm and on top of that, saved me about $50. on labor charges. He even put in new rear calipers and did a fantastic job!! I had just left sullivan tires with a quote of 800.00 for 4 tires for my crosstrek. I went to VIP and ORiely I purchased a light from ORiely and received great service from the gentleman working. After that went over to VIP and spoke with Damian Derosier. The service I receiced was wonderful. Had four new tires and an inspection for my car the next day.
