Man,oh man where to start! First, I wanna make it clear that I don't like giving anyone a bad review in fact I dig enjoying great food and especially service, when it's great I love commenting on it and if I can tip big to show appreciation to the people of the establishment! however if you are bad and you just don't care then that's where I believe we need to call you to the carpet, case in point this business, VIP wheels and audio, so I visited this establishment three weeks ago, walked into this shop, 2 gentleman at the front door behind the desk on their phones. It took them literally five minutes to acknowledge me?! Mind you no one's there, finally the guy on the phone because the other gentleman looked at me and walked to the back, asked me how can I help you? I told him I needed a stubby antenna for my C-5 Corvette. I currently had an electric one that was broke, he looked it up and said it would be $95 for the part which I had to pay for upfront not a big deal, told me he would call me when the part gets in, OK 2 1/2 weeks later no phone call? So I called the establishment and the gentlemen on the phone told me he would call me right back, two hours later no callback so I called him back again. He tells me he'll call me right back, says they're extremely busy? Mind you all I wanted to ask is if my part was in, so again I call an hour later and believe it or not. The gentleman on the phone tells me that he really is sorry but busy and he'll call me back in 10 minutes, OK again all I wanted to do was ask if my part was in, this was an hour before closing, so 10 minutes before they close I called them no answer? Wow The next day I called them immediately picked up the phone and asked if this was the guy with the Corvette? I tell him it is and I've been trying to get a hold of you guys now and it seems like im being blown off! He tells me he called me back twice? He might've, but it was an odd number and no voice message from the number!Anyways, I ask him do you have my part that I ordered 2 1/2 weeks ago? He tells me he's not sure now I start getting upset and I'm letting him know through my voice on the phone and I'm really pissed off. He tells me to call him back in 15 minutes?! You can't make this up! So I decided to dive a little deeper into their website and I got another phone number. I call, I get the owner. I let him know what's going on in the shop because he's currently in Puerto Rico on vacation. He tells me to hold on and calls his shop directly! We were in a three-way conversation with his staff, I'm not gonna go into detail because this is a long post. The man took care of the situation very quickly and efficiently where I didn't have to pay for installation. Kudos to the owner of this establishment and that's why I gave two stars however the fact that he's in Puerto Rico and leaving these people behind to run his business? Good luck anyways this is getting too long. Do yourself a favor stay far away from this establishment. They have to definitely get their act together... oh I could keep going about the installation, but I'll let it rest right here. You've been warned. read more

VIP THE WORST OF THE WORST, this system lest me 15 minutes , they ran the RCA power cord on top of the engine by the time I got home everything almost caught on fire. Then my subwoofer stopped working a week later and I found out that they sold me a compact sub and put it on a 4 hole box . They charged me for tweeters and were never installed . They said it doesn't fit in your car. If you look at the receipt, they charge me for 2 radios. And his excuse was he made a mistake on the price . The quality Works speaks for itself if you see the pictures, Rumors are that they're going out of business and they trying to take people money.... Stay far far away from this shop, and don't try to even finance here once you do the help they promise and everything goes out the window, I went to this store seeking professional help in audio for my car, I had 2, 12 with 2 horns and 1 coreta, the owner ( Sergio ) the day I went it was eager to help me and even told he's wife to look at what I currently had, Sergio goes outside and hears what I have and he says I quote eso está explotado I was in dought because they didn't sound like that to me anyway I said let me trust him because he's the professional, I choose to get a new box with speakers and everything i chose a red and box with 12s with new cables and installation was going to cost me 1300$ I was expectical because is a lot of money I left to think about it and talked it over with my wife, I agree to do it and went the very next day. The mood was completely different the owner didn't put attention or even acknowledge me as a costumer I left my car and I left very excited to see my new system and everything, but when I came back it was only mistakes all around, I chose 12 and he end up putting 10, the color of the box is gold not black and red as I initially requested and it sounded even worse then what I had, when I confronted him, he washes he's hands and said the box was bad and I had to change it without any notice to me what so ever, and used the excuse that once he quoted me the price he was trying to help me with the price and that's why he put 10s instead of 12 when that's what not that we agree on, also the receipt is not especifica what they are doing to your car or what your pain for, and because there's nothing on the receipt he always wins by putting whatever price. Again stay far far far away from this place do not recommend get another opinion something because Sergio told me yes I will call u once I received your box because I have to send it to make, and this is todays day he still haven't, don't go to this store read more

BUYERS BEWARE !!!! I'll stick to what I said if zero stars was an option, I'd click it. Not a fan nor will I ever be another customer. Not only do these people show their true colors by blasting, incorrect information and putting my personal information out there as well . That just shows the nature and Intentions. They Installed a $450 base system and told me that they were going to take care of me. They put a Ds18 10" shallow sub and box and all the wires. They never installed a fuse that would prevent the speaker from getting damaged. To which any audio installer would have installed. Yes the unit lasted me a year . But I've never heard of a DS18 speaker blowing when the system wasn't designed nor was it used for loud output . After trying to haggle me to upgrade my system multiple times and me telling him No . He continued to suggest a bigger system loudspeaker pretty much trying to get me to spend more money. I told him to just put the speaker in with the wire and fuse so that way the speaker didn't blow again this time.. mind you the wire never came with a fuse in the first place. He then proceeded to say how American base was a better unit than DS18 and how American base performs better . Which is false ? And that is fact . Watch a YouTube video. After calling me back-and-forth that they didn't have the Ds18 speaker , And that they want to put a bigger speaker and a bigger box .And then not understand the word "NO". Me, trusting them with my car and my system to which they had all day to work on. I decided to trust their judgement and let them take care of me as they once did . Upon receiving my car, I asked for a few other quotes for some other work to which they gave me some outrageous prices. 4 door speakers and a new amp because it had to be its own unit $850. To Install some under glow lights( mind you ) I was providing the lights $450 So let's get back to this bass system problem. The price for one new speaker and a cable and their installation charge came out to $300. $80 for a service charge to look at the system .( witch they charged me upfront ). And an original price because I paid in cash which was supposed to be $209. Came to be $220. So a total of $ 300 !!!(but wait a minute my entire system cost me $450 so one speaker a wire with a fuse and your installation charge came out to $300. Something doesn't seem right) (some might even think "I just got played for a sucker"). !!!! Anyways, I didn't ask no questions I didn't haggle I didn't try to beg for a cheaper price. And paid they gladly. I just wanted a clean system so I can personally listen to my music and enjoy my ride. (They didn't even TUNE the system, coming from an audio place who does everything loud! Yet couldn't tune my amp or speaker. And told me I could come back and get it tuned . ) why not tune it when you had the car with you. ( they said they tuned it to their ears ) . lol someone must be losing there touch . or Possibly going deaf from how loud they play their own system. Yet couldn't get mine correct . So yes, if you would like I can bring the car and have you guys look at it. See the work that they did sit in my car and see how I got ripped off because this system sounds terrible. These people just want your money, they don't care to work with you. They don't care that you keep coming back because you have problems with the system that they installed. Because they're just gonna tell you $80 to check it . And you're right I could've gone somewhere else but again I trusted these people to do the work because they installed it the first time .
