The street runs parallel and south of the outer parking lots on the south side of Sentara Virginia Beach Hospital. The location is extremely convent for the doctors who perform surgical procedures at either the Hospital or its Outpatient Surgical Center, which is located just across the road. The building has a tremendous amount of parking. Actually some of it might be overflow parking for the hospital. Handicapped parking is available near the front door. The building is nicely designed, both indoor & outside. The lobby gives a circular feel with its decorative flooring. It is always kept meticulously clean & maintained. My Gastroenterologist is located on the center's second floor. Their office includes surgical facilities where less complicated procedures, such as colonoscopies, are done. The level of care I've received has been quality. I've always been made more comfortable by its close proximity to the hospital. The choice of a practice in this facility is one you won't regret.

She didn't know how to properly do a swab, the Covid/flu swab barely went in my nose and the strep swab she rubbed on the inside of my cheek. Of course all tests came back negative because they were improperly done. Doctor did a quick once over and decided to give me antibiotics for strep anyway. I think they assume everyone wants antibiotics to make their problems go away but I was looking for actual answers. Don't recommend and won't return! It was obvious to me that they loved their job and worked in the best interest of their patients. I had an entire set of tests from bloodwork to X-rays. It was fortuitous that I chose this place because they immediately diagnosed me. Had I waited two more days, I would probably have landed in a hospital with pneumonia. Now here's the deal. Whenever a business runs smoothly and provides premium customer service, it's not the building or the equipment that does the job, it's the people. The people who truly care for the patients. They are the heroes, they are the ones who make a business shine. From the intake clerk - Chynieya, to Star my CNA, Hazel the lab tech, Dr. Vandermeid the doctor, Dee, the X-ray tech and Jennifer another nurse. These are the women who made up my A-team. They are the ones who made my day. I walked in sick as a dog; I walked out with a correct diagnosis and a hopefulness that the treatment regimen would have me up and running in no time at all. They got us back quickly after that and the nurse had told us she came out and looked in the waiting room and didn't see us so she figured we had left. Keep in mind we were sitting there in the corner. She did not call our name or look in the whole waiting room. Very irritating then when the doctor finally came in, they said all they could do was a flu and Covid test for stomach bug and told us to go to the ER for a STOMACH BUG.... It was a complete waste of time especially considering it took about 3 1/2 hours total for them to tell us to go to the ER and to just drink a lot of liquids which obviously we already knew. We obviously were visibly irritated, and explaining that to her and the doctor started giving attitude as well! She Left the room, came back handed my boyfriend a packet of paperwork to bring home, didn't say a word and left with the attitude still. Never in my LIFE have i received such bad service from a medial office! I would not recommend coming here, very unprofessional service.
